This particular Walgreens is located on East Colonial Drive and is a part of the Colonial Town Shopping Plaza. It is a convenient location just east of the downtown Orlando area and being on the main road, it is easy enough to get to. There is a decent amount of parking and the staff is friendly enough. I only go there for the Pharmacy. They routinely screw up my orders. Last year in December I had met my maximum out of pocket so my prescriptions were no charge. The December refill was a partial refill & no charge. I went back to get the remaining order I was charged because it was January, the next year. Had I received the full 90 day prescription in December there would have been no charge. This December I was refilling the final prescription of three 90 day prescriptions. The first fill I was charged the correct amount. The 2nd refill I had met my max out of pocket so there was no charge. Yesterday I went in for my third 90 day refill and they charged me because it wasn't a full 90 day refill. My Doctor had written the insulin prescription improperly 9 months ago so there was only a 45 day supply left on the prescription. Even though I met my maximum out of pocket, the previous refil of the same medication and 2 other prescriptions were filled at no charge, they still had to charge me for the insulin. Also another annoying distraction for this store is there are always homeless people in front of the store asking for money. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy feels actively malicious in their incompetence. I have NEVER had a prescription filled where they simply fill it and I pick it up. I always have to call and deal with the confused technician. I literally only go here out of necessity. read more

Wow just wow. Thank you Walgreens for ruining somebody's secret Santa. You couldn't call us and tell us that you weren't making calendars because you had too many orders to call. That was the answer I got when I went to go pick up my Calendar for the secret Santa that I am part of, not only did they say that to me they genuinely did not care that they ruined somebody's whole gift. 5 Star update because of Eva at the make-up counter! It's all about service. I already opt to use this Walgreens for all of my prescriptions because of its proximity to my house, but now I also know I'll have excellent service. The past three times I've gone, there's been a really friendly young woman (Eva) at the make-up counter (and walking around) who has approached me every time to make sure I was finding what I needed. This time, I was looking at press-on nails (ain't nobody got time for a manicure these days) but was not sure what I wanted/needed because I haven't used those since the 90s. She quickly offered help and advise on the brands she's tried and the differences in adhesives. Beyond that, I asked for her opinion on colors and she was an absolute gem. After that, she offered to check me out at the small counter and helped me figure out if I had a Walgreens rewards card. The whole time, still chatting and being incredibly friendly. As I left, I heard her chatting with an elderly customer who was obviously also blown away by her level of attention and customer service. It sounds silly, but I left Walgreens feeling really happy. And that's a bit bizarre. But worth noting and worth shouting out Eva! read more

Only dealing with the pharmacy but it seems very poorly run. I understand they may be understaffed but you'll be on hold for 15-20 min and then they hang up on you. Happened twice in a row today. And has happened before. Checked the hours the other day, went to pick up and they closed 2 hours early with a "sorry" sign on the window. Got them the next day luckily but another sign saying they were closing early. Not very friendly associates, maybe just overworked but still could use some people skills. I would recommend another location. Oh and I was calling today because they didn't get my order right. I picked up medicines, had paperwork for some but didn't receive them. Not good. read more

The women at the drive through pharmacy did not speak English well enough to assist me in filling my prescription. I had to drive to two other pharmacies with a 102 degree fever and the flu before I could get the information I needed to get a simple tamaflu prescription. read more

This store is clean, well stocked, and the pharmacy is quick. They have all of the normal offerings and I like to head here for good deals on makeup and hair products. They have the weekly ad upfront with coupons, so grab that on your way in. Normally there are some good deals. This location has a drive thru for the pharmacy that always seems to move quickly and staff is friendly. Overall: A No complaints. Standard offerings. read more

CVS could not filled my wife prescription. Walgreen had the prescription transferred from CVS and filled in a short period of time

I am done with this Walgreen's... The lights around the building at night have been broken for weeks now, creepy panhandlers sacked out in front of the entrance and last night when I complained about the broken snd absent lights the teenager behind the cash register actually argued with me that they were working when they were off and have been off for a long time. Typical Walgreens, with a layout that's nearly identical to the one I shop at most often in my city. I was looking for 3 specific items, they had all of them in stock, all were easy to find and there was only 1 person ahead of me at the checkout...Though when I got there, the guy working the register was bitching to the guy ahead of me about another customer, and when making conversation with me, I couldn't tell if he was making a joke with a bit of odd humor, or making a racial slur in reference to the guy who'd just checked out ahead of me. "If you turn my receipt over, you'll see the Walgreens return policy on the back", I said to (let's call her Nancy) one of the managers of our local Walgreens. Now apparently, my HUGE RAINBOW luggage strap wasn't sold at her store (I had, in fact purchased it yesterday at an I-Drive location) and she repeatedly insisted I drive down to B.F. Egypt (I-Drive) to get a refund on it. I pointed out to Nancy that the return policy states "...may return it to ANY of our nationwide stores.." Are we at a Walgreens located in the United States Nancy? I'm reasonably certain that the refund policy is one of the first things a manager learns, and I confess, I expected a cheerful return without the 15 minutes of shenanigans... Kudos to the polite young man who was trying to assist (previous to Nancy) but didn't have manager access codes. read more

Dealing with the Pharmacy, lady had a very hard time speaking English, was very rude. They would not refund me for test results I never received. She would not let me talk and said I will transfer you to the store manager and immediately put me on hold. I have been playing the hold game for 15 minutes. They will answer it after it rings again and then will not say anything and put me on hold. I heard the lady say one time no no don't answer it. Horrible and rude people! read more

Love the Walgreens rewards program. I went in there tonight to purchase some Epsom salts for my husband. They were having a sale, $6.99 a bag or two for $12. When I got to the register and put my phone number in the machine to show that I had a reward card, the price immediately went down to $9. Now that's the kind of surprise I like! There were a few people on the floor working so I could get assistance if I needed it. And the cashier was very friendly and very courteous. All in all it was a great experience. read more

I come here for the pharmacy. Lines at the pharmacy are hit or miss. Sometimes it's a breeze, but most times it takes at least 15 minutes to pick up prescriptions. Most pharmacies are this way, so I won't hold it against them. The pharmacy employees are all very nice and helpful. This department is always busy, but the employees will give you their undivided attention when it's your turn. Outside of the pharmacy, I try my best to avoid shopping here. Printing photos is easy on the Walgreens app, but there is rarely someone working the photo department, so you have to press the button and wait for an employee to be free to come and help. Checkout lines are typically 5 people deep so unless it's something that I really need, I would prefer to pass. read more

To be honest, most of the trips I've made here have been to look for Fla-Vor-Ice (if you know me or are familiar with some of the conversations I've been a part of on the Yelp boards, you know how much I love that stuff), but even with my limited experiences and interaction at this store, I'd still say it's a good one. It's in a convenient spot and I stop in frequently since it's so close to many other places I often go to. I haven't seen any Fla-Vor-Ice here since last year, but maybe it's on its way - might have to wait until next month or June. I was in here yesterday to buy some Easter cards and received great service - Alison or Allison, the cashier, was very friendly. I'll definitely be in here again, though I'm not sure that there's much, if anything, I can add to this review. It's definitely, as Tom A. said, an adequate store to stop in if you can't get to the grocery store, just as are most - if not all - of the other locations. read more

One of the many things this store has going for it isn't even located within the store itself. The proximity of this store to other worthwhile places makes it a very good stop. If you had planned on shopping at Ross or Marshall's, pick up coffee (Starbucks or B&N), and then make an abbreviated grocery run, then Walgreens is in the perfect spot for you. Sure some of the grocery prices run higher, but I just attribute that to the reason they call it a "convenience" store. So, whether you're getting some of your goods from Target while you're on the run, or whether you're getting them here, you're still going to find a bit of variety. read more

I love the pharmacists here!! They are LGBT friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They know all about patient assistance programs, pharmaceutical copay assistance cards, easily work with doctors for prior authorizations and know drug/drug interactions. They are easy to talk to and not judgmental, which I really appreciate. I feel like I can ask them anything and they will assist me get the help I need. I've been to them several times with complicated insurance issues - like switching insurances, deductibles, etc and they always go above and beyond to understand the issue and come up with solutions. I also see them out working in the community and the community testing at their store and that's the kind of business I want to go to to - one that SHOWS they care about the community. I don't come to Walgreens often, and it doesn't look like that will change. I came in for an Almay mascara that was listed on their website for $8.99. In this particular store it was $10.49. I asked if they price match for the website and they said no. Long story short, I had to return one of the mascaras I bought because the cap broke on second use. I went to a different store and did an even exchange from a new one on the shelf and lo and behold it was $8.99, so they had bumped up their price $1.50 but claimed the website was "special pricing" not available to in-store shoppers. How many other items is this happening to? Not willing to find out.. read more

I would just like to say thank you for your. Kind service tonight. I have been treated like a criminal at every other Pharmacy besides Walmart. They never have what I need though. I was really about to say Walgreens are horrible Pharmacies but my experience tonight was great. They had my medication. The guy did not treat me like a drug seeker and I actually felt cared about. I already told the guy thank you. I wish I would have got his name. Again thanks for treating common people with respect and dignity! Keep up the good work! Stopped in to get a redbox from outside, had kid with me so decided to go in and get her a ball. The prices are great for kid toys. The staff was overall pleasant however I got irritated when there was a long line so they called me out of line from being next to pay over to register at cosmetics. Girl there couldn't get her log in info to work so had to get back in original line at the end of the long line. If they didn't call me.out of line I would have been on my way. Just think she should have walked me.bavk over to other line and got me checked out next rather than putting me to the back of the line especially when paying for a single item. Location however is clean and we'll kept so this is more of a personal experience and may not be a regular occurrence. I'll come back another time and if my experience is better I'll update then. read more
