I normally use this pharmacy for prescriptions when I'm really sick because it's the closest to my house (normally I prefer Walgreens). I won't make that mistake anymore. My wife picked up some prescriptions for me today and when I opened the bag and took it out I saw something black inside a bottle of white pills. I took a closer look and found that a dead bug was in the bottle alongside my pills. I'm absolutely disgusted and can't imagine how unhygienic this pharmacy must be to miss a whole black bug in a bottle of white pills. I won't be back to this CVS under any circumstances and will stick with Walgreens. read more

They lost my prescription after a renewal call in. They said I had one renewal available on the phone but when I showed up they had no record and I had no renewals. Kinds seems suspicious to me since it was a mood altering medication. When I asked if they could call it in to get a renewal going they acted SUPER ANNOYED. I asked to speak with a manager and she was even ruder. I never raised my voice I just asked what happened. They explained that their system was having issues and loosing lots of scripts and that it wasn't their fault (even though it's a CVS system). When I politely said that was concerning for a pharmacy they told me if I said anything else they'd never serve me again. What the heck?! Super rude and not at all concerned about me that I could see. I'd avoid this place if you can. The manager (Sunday 1/17 during the day) should not be working in healthcare. Not to be confused with CIS: Orlando, which is thankfully a show that doesn't exist. I mean how many Disney employees get murdered annually anyway. Hopefully none? I mean unless Mickey is actually a psychopath? I have a good memory of this Pharmacy because of the beautiful sunset photos that I took here, because they had exactly what I wanted and were pretty friendly and helpful with me to assist me getting it. 3 stars is about the most that I can ever give to an expensive chain Pharmacy like this and when I say expensive I mean grossly overpriced - but consider it a compliment, because I usually give 1 or 2 to CV. This review is specifically about the pharmacy part of the store rather than the main retail space. I am a very patient person, but what I just experienced today I found to be totally unacceptable. I got into the pharmacy drive through line. There were 2 cars ahead of me and another car behind me. We're all waiting. 30 minutes turns into an hour, then an hour and a half, and just as were approaching nearly 2 hours, the passenger of the first car in line gets out of his car and knocks on my window to let me know the pharmacist said they are going out for lunch and will return at 2:30pm. We were all locked in line since cars were behind us. Luckily the one car behind me backed up so I was able to do the same. I understand that they often only have one or 2 pharmacists working at any given time so it may get busy, but the drive thru line was not long and there was still no movement, and I could see the parking lot to the store and can't fathom an insane line inside the store that warranted a nearly 2+ hour wait. And to just abandon waiting customers after they had been waiting for nearly 2 hours and just tell them you'll be back later, I found completely unacceptable. I scheduled my booster shot there and found the employees there to be very rude. I was 15 min early, there was nobody there before me yet they made me wait over 20 min. Even though they had a waiting area and a place to sit to get your vaccination, they made me stand at the pharmacy counter to get my shot. It wasn't a sanitary area. Not only won't I recommend people be vaccinated there but I personally will not be back to shop there. read more

This CVS Pharmacy is just down the street from my dentist. After my appointment, my dentist gave me a goodie bag with a toothbrush and travel size toothpaste and dental floss. Remembering that I needed to buy dental floss and a few other items, I decided to visit this location. Upon arrival, my visit started out good. A pharmacist asked me if I needed any help, so I asked her about digital thermometers. I have a older thermometer that I want to replace. She told me that thermometers are available up front. On my way to the counter, I picked up some dental floss and proceeded to get in line. There are stanchions creating a line for the register, with markings on the floor every six feet for distancing. The stanchions also allows customers to walk by to another aisle at a safe distance. A lady with a full shopping cart saw that I had only one item in hand, so she let me go in front of her. To which I thanked her and went to a register a employee just opened. Then it went downhill from there. When I asked about digital thermometers, he grabbed a box off the shelf and told me the price, which was between $60-$70. Then I was told that it was the only ones available in stock. Take it or leave it. I know that with COVID-19, digital thermometers have been hard to find. But pulling a box off the shelf that is the most expensive thermometer available and being told to take it or leave it? Guess what? I will leave it. As I started to pay for the dental floss, some guy comes in and proceeds to walk down the aisle for check out, ignoring any rules regarding social distancing to anyone at the register, and proceeds to sit down on the floor. I repeat, sit down on the floor. Can't make this ____ up. As I left and went to my car, there was a woman walking around the parking lot. Then she decided to go to the entrance and just hang out. I do not know about you, but it makes me nervous when someone is out front "just hanging". If it is a restaurant and someone is waiting on a friend, then I have no problem. But at a store, it makes me nervous. As for the thermometer? I drove down the street and bought one at a department store for $10. And as for this CVS location? I have two near where I live. So if I am at the intersection of Mills-50 right by this CVS, I will just continue driving until I get close to home. read more

Called twice and was placed on hold for 10 mins (had to hang up) then 30 mins (hung up). A guy picked up the phone at min 10 and asked, "can you hold please", and placed me back on hold before I had a chance to answer. I had a 5 second question. Within the hold time I called my dr. and had him transfer my prescription to Wallgreens and then Wallgreens sent me a text to say it was ready for pick up. That's when I hung up on your hold music at 30 mins. This CVS is the most convenient but I'm going across town to Wallgreens because they are better then you. If you place a customer on hold for more than 10 mins, twice, and there are a ton of other options - good chance you'll lose the customer. Customer Service here is an idiom for hold music. Right on par with Sears. read more

It is a CVS, and an unremarkable one, but clean and with very few strange people loitering outside. Hours are fairly lengthy though it isn't a 24-hour location (7am-10pm, and pharmacy hours I believe are shorter). Protip: I resisted signing up for the ExtraCard for many years because rewards programs/tracking are annoying, but that thing has some pretty good deals, I have to admit. ExtraBucks toward free toilet paper on my next visit = never running out of toilet paper, and any business that enables that is at least A-OK in my book. read more

Over priced and not willing to price match. I looked at some items to compare with walmart or target. And it was the difference of $3! If you need something urgently, then over paying for any item justifies the long trip to target or walmart. The pharmacy does its best yo fill scrips close to 9:55, however if there is a negative major (web) interaction, they never alert you, nor take the goods back. "Call corporate" never the phone number. Staff is very religious about closing time for rxisting shoppers, helpful but very mechanicak, insincere and condenscending.. The merchandice mix still does not rival Walgreen's. I like the carpeting... I get huge 20 - 40% off mailings and emails to shop there as I did in 2011, and 2012. And when price is the only loyslty in budiness anyone can steal your "loyal" client in ine mailing or email. The pharmacy is not super pricey like Walgreen's, not close to Publix in satisfactuon and price, what good is a fancey elevated platform and white jacket and 59+ pharmaciust techs, if they are blamless fir major interactions and do not know the ecpectation and spirit of consultation that they indust you received when you picked up your vials? I wish they would involve the staff in improving the product mix, in store had incentives fir them, and start from scratch with hiring... read more

Hey, it's a CVS. It's really convenient to me (on the corner of Mills and Colonial). They have pretty ample parking for the location and every time I've been in there they've been very cordial in helping me out. Sometimes businesses on Colonial seem to be dirtier than their counterparts but this one is very clean and welcoming. read more

Well i found the place. The place where we would not be sold something because we are from another country. Wednesday night we stopped at cvs on conroy and purchased 2 gift cards( cash card visa vanilla) of 500 each my brother showed pasport (he just moved here 5 days ago) had no issue the girl was super nice. Next day his girlfriend decided to purchase 2 gift cards with her passport and her credit card. Stopped at this CVS on Colonial she went to register to pay and mr TONY said she cannot she need us id . I waired in car (i live here for 11 year ) they come out and tell me the story. I said no way its a gift card !!. Got down asked mr TONY why ? . He said no because sistem will not take it and these are the rules . I said please explain how this is possible ? He got defensive and was caught on just saying NO to me instead of trying to exxplain or find a solution. I told him to calm down i am the customer here to please call manager. His answer was "he is not here!" I said well call him or someone to explain how this is possible when last night i baught two no problem at another location. He looked at me like i was lying and asked for prove! .REALLY TONY .? I decided to show him prove my brother took out everything he started calling the other store etc. He hangs up and says its not gonna happen they will block his passport ?? ( whatttttt?). He says it has to be another passport . I say to him he is not purchasin she is!. He looks at us and says NO! I CANT.... WTHHHHH . I felt lied to our face and the feeling was unfair. I never use race but this feeld descrimanating towards us ! . I told him how i felt and how he just lied to our face . I tell him call another manager or whoever you need to but this is not happening!. He take calls , called some Juan guy , made us wait ten minutes with out even looking at us. I would suggest taking a little extra time and driving a little farther down the road to the Walgreens at the corner of Colonial and Bumby. I have lived in the neighborhood 17 years and have never had an issue with the Walgreens but have had multiple issues with this CVS. One of the pharmacist assistants yelled at me and then threw her keys at me. She then came out from behind the counter and I thought she was going to hit me. Frankly, she scared me. CVS's customer relations thought that a reasonable period of time to get back to me and address the issue was 15 days after I filed a complaint via their website. The messages I left for their regional manager on the same day and the next day were not answered. Why I am not sure. Overall, I think it is beyond unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and hassle and drive a little father down the road. read more
