today I went to get the rotisserie chicken but there was only one left and it was completely black and the customers were kind of rude. The advertisement in the commercials is always shopping here is a pleasure. Well at this particular location, the advertisements don't lie. As a creature of habit, I prefer knowing where everything is when I go errand shopping. Not only do I have the shelves here memorized, but I expect the same overpriced groceries from every grocery store as inflation is so high these days. And no, I do not recommend Publix paper towels. 8.13.22 My husband's family shop at this grocery store and this weekend I got to have their ribeye, fruit and cheese platters, desserts which included brownie bites, vanilla cake, chocolate cupcakes, and tres leches cake (not pictured). Everything tasted amazing and fresh with the exception of the cupcakes, which the cake itself was a bit dry, but the icing was good. The fruits I had were sweet and fresh. The ribeye was tender and not chewy. My favorite was the tres leches as the cake was moist and the icing was airy and light. I'm from Maryland so definitely wished there was a Publix near us as I am definitely a fan. read more

This place is depressing. The workers all look like zombies and have bad attitudes. Absolutely no one smiles. The liquor store attendants are rude and appear to miserable. If you think k your life sucks, come to this Publix and you will feel like a million bucks!! I would rather fight my through Walmart than come here again!!! UNBELIEVABLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!! As I ended a rough day at work, I stopped into this publix location to grab a few things. Once I get in line to check-out, the check out team, I believe their names were Amy and Jocelyn, were incredibly friendly. I've never had anyone unload my items from the shopping cart onto the belt to pay until now. Very fast and friendly service. Then headed to my vehicle to unload my groceries. I noticed a bald guy, beard with dark sunglasses. I continued to unload my bags into the car and what felt like out of nowhere the gentleman popped up and grabbed the shopping cart from underneath my last bag asking "Are you done with this sir" THANK YOU to this location to showing me that impeccable customer service still exists in 2024. I like how big this location is. Their produce section seems much bigger than other locations I go to. However, I do not come here a lot because 1) parking is a nightmare and 2) it seems so dark in there. I prefer the Altamonte location where the old Albertsons was because it is much cleaner and brighter. Also parking is better. However, staff is nice here and I can usually find most of the items I'm looking for. read more

Review #903. What is there not to love about Publix. I came here one evening on my way to a friends house for some dinner.He had contacted me earlier and asked me to bring some wine. So after work I stopped by and picked up a couple of bottles of wine, and of course a few extra things that I did not need. As always all The employees that I encounter at a Publix are always very friendly, and very courteous. I located my wine, my other extras that I wanted to buy, and made my way out the door. While I was there I ran into one of my sons friends, she recognized me, I was startled because I did not expect to run into anybody that I know at this grocery store. We chatted for a while, and I made my way to the register. Again, cashier was very helpful, and very friendly. Always a very good experience at Publix. Just read an article that says the big 'P' is THE most popular grocery chain (based on ratings by shoppers). I can kind of see that now that they have a lot more BOGOF deals, even if some items are priced Whole-Foods-like. I go to different Publixes based on my travel pattern on any given day. This is one of the older ones, and the one thing you will notice is that (unscientifically), they seem to have more unadvertised BOGOFs of wines than any other locations I shop. In the past year, I've come across at least 4 such offers that I just couldn't pass up (everything ranging from William Hill Cab to the more recent Prisoner Uprising). The fact that, in most cases, I ended up not caring that much for the wine is beside the point (Discount theory in action, Psych majors?) - the fact that these unadvertised specials are there makes me want to poke my head in every time I pass by. read more

This Publix location is a larger store and will have new products sometimes before their other stores. I enjoy getting some of the health food items, natural oils like almond oil, a range of international selections and fresh fish. The staff is courteous and helpful when looking for items. This location is busy on the weekend. Today was regular grocery items long with some larabars and health warrior chia bars. read more

Nice Publix located in a great spot to pick up shopping en route to our house. It has 14 aisles and 10 checkout counters (only 2 Express counters for 10 or less items). There's also a pharmacy at the far right side of the store. The restrooms are located in the front, near the checkout counters. Alcoholic beverage are in Aisle 9 (you're welcome). One of the things I like most about this store is the lovely lady who gives the food demonstrations - her name is Melinde and she is an awesome cook! If she is doing a demo, absolutely recommend circling back and getting a sample of whatever she is cooking. I also like the young teenagers who help with the bagging here - they are super nice! Not sure if it is possible that this publix is owned by private person or they don't follow other publix stores guidelines. The staff here is not very helpful and even rude. Went to the lotto counter, employee yells at me as I approached her "we ain't paying out today". I finished my shopping and went back to the lotto counter and she again yelled at me again about not paying out. After that I went to the results checkout line and started putting grocery's up and the cashier turned her light off and told me to go to another line. None of this is the first time being treated this way at this store. read more

This pharmacy has been my pharmacy since I moved to Casselberry in 2017. Since last year, the staff continues to change constantly. They are rude and short with customers. I went in today and my doctor called in a prescription for me for my migraine the day before and the person behind the counter (tall guy with glasses) told me that I would have to wait an hour to get it filled. He was very rude and unprofessional, I mentioned to him my dissatisfaction with the service lately at Publix and mentioned that I was going to pull my scripts from that pharmacy and moved to another and he said to me......go ahead. Instead of trying to deflect the situation he made me more angry and I asked for the Manager and her name is Amber and she went on to tell me that they are very busy and thats why my script was not ready. I am changing my pharmacy once I pick the the medicines that they had to order because some of them were not in stock even though these medicines are medicines that I take every day for the last 7 years. Why would they not have them in stock is beyond me. This pharmacy is always packed and like I said the staff is constantly changed with rude people. read more

Don't go to the deli at lunch time with bronchitis, not feeling well and looking for a pleasant experience. If you have the pleasure of Luz preparing your sub, she will yell at you, sarcastically tell you to speak up (when your throat and chest hurts, and you're politely trying not to spread germs and shared this) and throw together the wrong and extremely sloppy sandwich. It's a shame I'm even writing this, as I spend literally a minimum of like a thousand dollars a month on our family's groceries at this particular location, but seriously, what a joke. Worst customer service i have ever experienced, their deli has no clue how to treat customers! Worst ever!!!

I have had several unpleasant experiences with the deli department at this Publix location over the past few months. They close at 10pm however multiple times between 7-8 pm their deli team has refused my family service with a smile on their face in a most rude way like we are bothering them by asking them to do their job. They refused to cut the meat i wanted for my sub because they didnt want to clean the slicer a second time. I live right across the street and I am in here shopping every single day with my husband. As a matter of fact it happened again tonight, they claim they've ran out of bread at 7:45pm and that is the second time that has happened recently. I have complained to customer service and to the deli manager about the experience each time but nothing has changed. I'm just super disappointed that the earliest I can get in there is 7pm due to my work hours and I guess I'll never be able to buy a sub again since this deli has decided to essentially close their department at 7pm while the rest of the store is in full function. The package staff aren't even sweeping and no cashiers are blocking the store so I am not sure why the deli gets to stand around laughing and playing on their phones instead of serving the customers that are spending their time and money here. I really hope this store moniters reviews like this and maybe their district manager can step in and ensure their deli is properly stocked for their customers while they are actually open one day. until then ill be getting subs at Jersey MIkes around the corner because they keep ingredients for sandwiches stocked. read more

Went here looking for Dry Ice, this one doesnt carry it but another publix closer to my house does. This is the first time ive been in here since the remodel. Wow this place is looking good now. I was looking for some rare items for drinks. Dragons fruit, red currents, ect.. They didnt carry some of what i was looking for but the staff was very friendly and one guy even googled dragon fruit just to see exactly what it was to make sure they didnt carry it. While shopping around for other items i needed I was asked several times if I found everything ok or just givin a hey how are you doing. Soo... I guess this is as good as it gets, and thats 5 stars. read more

Publix Supermarket is my favorite market to shop at. Their customer service cannot be beat. The selection of grocery items is wonderful, and they are always well stocked. The store has an old feel to it. I'm not really a fan of the layout, but I do like how there's are two entrances, so parking isn't ever really bad. It just feels like the old Albertson's. The pharmacy is always busy, and the staff is great but I can tell they always need extra people. The pharmacy also tends to have limited supply of certain medications, and I end up having to go to another location. I work at the barbershop in the plaza and we were really excited when the Publix opened. The deli is great. They have delicious cheesesteaks and their food is well priced. The customer service here is top notch. I had grabbed a few more things than I had expected the other day and Thom from the bakery came out of nowhere and assisted me. While this isn't my local Publix, it happens to be in between my and my Mother's house, so I stop by here after I visit her. This one is rather large and has a great selection, more than most Publix's. Their wine area is tremendous, as is their Meat and Produce sections. When I want to go here, I call this "Big Publix" as there are a couple other Publixs nearby, but they're much smaller. This place is great. I teach Science right up the road and head over here often to get suppies for our experiments in the middle of the day. The cashiers recognize me and greet me and are extremely friendly. I love their large wine selection, the extra large bins of BOGO stuff as you walk in, the olive bar, the large Greenwise section, and the great florist section! A great store all around! read more

I always loved that publix had a decent selection of cheeses. Whole foods is still my go to but publix is a great alternative. Plus they will split the bread bags is you only need a few slices/rolls and don't want to buy a 6 pack or loaf. read more

Wow! The re-built Publix is huge and lovely. I found what I was looking for and then some. This Publix offers the most GreenWise products than the other Publix I have been in (Oviedo and Winter Springs). This store has a large and good selection of wine and other low-octane spirits. Today, they had a wine tasting of four (maybe five) wines and one port. Their beer selection is average compared to other stores, EXCEPT for Sofie in small bottles (thank you Jesus). I saw more organic foods- fresh and frozen, grass-fed beef and buffalo, and meats from other companies besides Publix's Greenwise. Fun store. read more

This Publix is even better than most because of its SIZE. The building used to house and Albertson's, which has since closed, and Publix has now moved in. The store is massive, so they have a massive selection. There is even a detached liquor store. I especially like the large Greenwise/organic section. Great customer service, as with every other Publix. Publix may be a bit more expensive but it's worth it to have a clean, organized store with quality products. read more
