I've never had a big issue with this location, I have used it probably about 8 times in the last 3 years. Only 1 time they closed the pharmacy early without notice which was a minor inconvenience, but I got over it and picked up next day. Run of the mill Walgreens. read more

Absolutely trashy Walgreens. Always dirty unorganized. If that wouldn't be in my home radius I will never step into their walls. Every time I'm there its like a bad dreams... ! Its Always huge line of people for a 15 min staring at the cashier who is calling manager because she doesn't know how to do a refund. Manager is not on a hurry also. Plus some Attitude. Dear Wally, I'm officially not a happy camper with you. Your regular prices have really been on an upward swing while we slept, and some of your sale enticements are a bit of a shell game. But guess what - that's on us shoppers staying sharp and aware, so I won't lay that one on you. But your PRESCRIPTION prices? Oh my. First, why do you tell me 20 minutes, when it ends up being 45+? And why 'reward' the lazy bums who do more harm to the environment who use the drive-through window, always giving THEM preference while we - customers in the store who are better for you (because we have a 100% better chance of buying something in addition of the prescription, seeing how we are IN the store)? While you're at it, prithee explain why my meds were $45 with you, and $13 at Walmart? NOW, do you know why I had to cancel that prescription? Horrible service at pharmacy. They seem like they hate their job. The attendant at the drive thru felt it necessary to stop serving me so he could text or check his social media on his phone. I literally waited 5 minutes and finally said "excuse me" and he started helping me again. This guy is always terrible but this just took the cake. I will be taking my business elsewhere next time. read more

Most of the staff is nice and helpful but one of the pharmacists is just a bully. She literally made me spend MORE money to run a script thru insurance when GoodRX was less and the GoodRX card is FROM MY INSURANCE CARRIER! Today I called an double checked the date for refill on a med since I was headed out of town for a memorial service. The staff that answered the phone said yea it's due for a refill, it'll be ready in an hour. This same pharmacist told one of the sales girls the I'd have to wait until tomorrow morning and I could pick it up after 9am. Can these folks get on the same page?!?! My insurance company doesn't work with Walgreens any longer (in part to these types of issues and they are the HIGHEST pharmacy in our area!!! I'm really relieved because I've been going to this pharmacy chain for 20+ years and I've never had a pharmacist that was such a bully!! Off to CVS I go.... Do better Walgreens - hire better!! read more

Let me start by saying that my dad is an 89 yr old man. He has a heart condition and is on dialysis. Needless to say he, cannot go without his medication especially his blood thinners. I go to walgreens to pick up his medication as he is down to a few days worth. I am informed that he needs a new script. I asked for an emergency supply until the doctor responds to their request for a new script. When i return 2 days later i am informed that the doctor has not replied. Sarah the pharmacist/manager was upset that i asked for emergency medication again . She claimed she faxed the doctor on several occasions to no avail ( to renew the script). She stated she gave me emergency medication once and refaxed the doctor and still no script. I mentioned that i was never informed that doctor was not answering the request. I expressed my concern about my dad not getting his medication and asked if she could give him enough till the following day when i could reach the doctor and if she could refax the request . Sarah continued to inform me that it is not her responsibility to ensure doctors answer faxes for medications for patients. She mentioned it was not her job to inform me that the doctor was not responding to the fax. and that i should be more attentive to ensure my dad gets his prescriptions renewed. She stated she has to many patients and does not have the time to insure doctors renew patients prescriptions.( i had no idea it needed to be renewed.) She then proceeded to give me an emergency supply. hmmmmmm.. why did she not just take that action from the get go? I call the doctors office only to be told no fax was sent. (i asked the doctors office to send the script) When i call sarah and asked what fax number she sent the faxes to she was sending it to the wrong fax number. ( hippa violation?) I have been in the medical field for 28yrs and have never heard of a pharmacists that is to busy to insure a patient receives their medication or to busy to contact a doctor on a patients behalf. She lacks compassion and the "whatever it takes" attitude that insures a job well done!! Sarah can also use an ethics class to learn to deal with concerned family members and be helpful verses insulting and unprofessional or seek another profession that she can be happy with or at the very least allow how to make a real contribution to the community! I am glad to say, i was able to get my dads medication and walgreens has lost our business.! read more

If I could give this place Zero stars I would. They tell you to call them and then put you on hold over and over again and never talk to you. After waiting 20min, I hung up and called my doctor to switch pharmacies. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to CVS. They answered the phone on first ring and actually talked to me. Absolute worst Walgreens EVER! I would rather drive the 40 minutes to Aloma and Walgreens and then drive the 40 minutes home. The pharmacist is rude and the staff follows suite. I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for over 30 years and being a cancer patient and single mom of two we utilize them multiple times a month sometimes a week. This store will not be getting my business EVER again. read more

I dropped off a waterproof disposal camera with their photo department after a girls weekend. I was told the photos would be back to me in about 2 weeks due to them having to mail it out for processing. That was in July. I went back and forth with them for weeks after that as they kept telling me the photos were "processing". I eventually stopped calling them to check the status. Today, 11/19 - almost four months to the day that I dropped them off, a Walgreen's employee called me with an update. Her status on my photos was that the developing center received a camera with no film in it, and they don't have the film. Considering it was a waterproof disposable camera - a little paper camera in a bulky plastic case. I certainly didn't disassemble the camera, so it bears to reason that either a) whoever shipped the camera off disassembled it and lost the film or b) the processing center lost my film and won't own up to it. The staff member was unapologetic that I had been waiting four months for photos from an event that can't be replicated. This is one chain that won't be getting my photo business again - digital or print. read more

One of many Walgreens around Central Florida but this one is not open all day like other ones, this location is rather new and has only been open for a few year. It seems that Walgreens is expanding very quick as they are in just about every corner this days. Good store in a good location, has what other locations has even drive thru pharmacy, one thing missing from this location is the vampire that hangs out at the Walgreens in Altamonte. Good location to stop by if you are near by an need something but like always I have always though Walgreens is a bit over priced in SOME items but has some good deals. read more

Writing this while standing in line at the pharmacy consultation window while several employees walk by, barely acknowledging my presence, while scurrying about and attending to people who came in line long after me. Not sure if they are overworked or what the problem is, but standing here watching, in my opinion, customer service appears to be the last priority. We will be moving our RXs to CVS, which is right across the street. read more

This Walgreens is the one closest to my house. There are 2 reasons I ever use Walgreens. One, if they have an excellent sale that beats out all other retail locations. Two, the photo center. I like how I can go in, hook up my phone, and get prints shortly thereafter. I also like that I can order them online at home as well and pick them up in less than an hour. However, today I went in to pick up my photos and did not have a nice experience. I walked up to the photo counter and a girl was stocking items in front of the counter. When she saw me she moved her cart to stock items on an endcap. I pushed the button they have on the counter that alerts a staff member that a customer needs assistance over the intercom. I waited a couple of minutes. A different girl showed up, had a conversation with the girl stocking items, and the girl stocking items insisted she would handle it. Um what??? She saw me walk up, saw me push the button, and saw me wait. Why wouldn't she just have helped me to begin with??? Unbelievable. I think that Walgreens really needs to work on customer service at this location, especially since there is a CVS right across the street. read more

EVERY single time I come to this Walgreens PHARMACY, my prescription is never ready, even though I call in advance & I still have to wait 30-50 minutes for techs to fill it. It's completely unorganized and the customer service of the pharmacy is 0.5/10. The Walgreens itself, outside of the pharmacy has decent employees. read more

Find a different pharmacy. The amount of times I have waited in the drive thru and never been helped, waited in line for 45 minutes at a time, and been hung up on after waiting on hold for more than 20-30 minutes is ridiculous. They do not have their stuff together. I see the girl working at night is running around like crazy and she tries to be helpful but they are not efficient or understaffed or something. I have even attempted to have my prescriptions mailed to my house (something they offer in their texts message reminders) and never gotten my meds after I paid for them. Had surgery after an injury, they did not have a common pain killer prescription in stock. I Managed to get an eye ulcer that required a prescription, again a common prescription eye drop was not in stock. Needed another prescription again this week and again not in stock. In addition to not having common prescription drugs in stock, their hours have been cut dramatically. They have been closing at 6pm and also intermittently closing the pharmacy. I'm not sure how a pharmacy that is one block away from a hospital can cut their hours. I am switching pharmacies. read more

This is one of the slowest Walgreens. I actually stopped coming here and going to one in Winter Park by the hospital. Their selection of medications is very limited as well. If it's not a medication that a lot of people take they don't stock it. Then instead of saying it's not in stock they call and say that it's delayed. Nothing more. You have to call them up to find out when. You get the same message that it's delayed. To find out that they don't have it in stock and will have it in 2 days. Glad we did because we found the other Walgreens and switched over to there. read more
