Ran into Publix this morning to pick up my mom's prescription that I prepaid for. It is really convenient to use Publix as a Pharmacy and of course for food and buy one get one sales. The pharmacist is always helpful and friendly. The employees in the grocery store area are cheerful and helpful. I purchased a gallon of milk and some toothpaste for my mom. It was a successful shopping experience and pharmacy trip. read more

This Publix continues to offer exceptional service. I like that I can be in and out quite quickly. This visit I went to the pharmacy to pick up my grandma's medication. I appreciate that you can pay ahead so you can just grab & go. Pro tip: never and I mean never pass the BOGO area. You can find some fabulous deals there. Gotta love Publix. Especially the BOGOs. Yeah, they get you alright. They are up in the front and before you know it, you've taken a few of them. I know I did. I came in for a famous Publix sub. The great thing about their deli section is they have not just the regular deli items but you can also get hot items and you can get different sub options. They make it exactly how you ask. Every Publix set up pretty much the same. All the aisles are numbered, and you can see what is in each aisle depending upon the section you're looking for any of the employees will be happy to help you if you ask them for something. Also, if your local Publix does not carry something you want, you can speak with the manager, and if they are able to, they will order it and carry it in your Publix because they know you're going to buy it from them and probably recommended to others. Great store great people, it really is a pleasure to shop there... LOL. read more

Yeah, prices are high, but seriously, if you want some good ingredients you go there. #foodhack. Buy the porkbutt and 1.89 or 2.29/lb and ask them to grind it for you. Saves $1 over just buying ground pork. Also when the rib roast is on sale, run to the store. You can save $10/lb vs ribeyes steaks Try doing either of those at Walmart or Sprouts. Fresh Market will do that for you but it will cost much more. read more

Everything is great about Publix hunt club except the prices and the always FILTHY restrooms! For as long as I've been there & a few others, walking into and inside the floors have are dirty especially around the edges of all the walls. Inside ladies room is disgusting at all edges of the walls and elsewhere. It's like they do a quick mop and push all the dirt to the edges- maybe try using stronger cleaning solution? It needs a Serious cleaning and they've never remodeled them over yrs- while they concentrate on keeping the "store" nice. Normal priced items are always higher then elsewhere unless Bogo''s; sometimes as much as $2 + ! Customer service always excellent, better than competitive stores. We would never buy ALL our groceries there- only occasional items. read more

Customer service is always pleasant . The organization of the front of the store is neat with legible signs. The bogo deals this week were perfect. I needed to restock on some Duke's mayonnaise, and it was buy 1 get 1. Then they had 4 avocados for 5 dollars, too. Then I was done shopping for the day. As I walked around to different departments, I was asked by employees if I needed any assistance finding anything. I will continue shopping at publix for this same reasons. Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

Publix never fails you with a great sub! Best in town and the great thing is, most of the time, one who's making the sub is from New York so you know they understand a great sub! I've had a great many conversations about baseball and the New Yorker life! Everything is fresh and there's always a deal on a sub. Make sure you give yourself at least 30 minutes, usually everyone else has the same idea ay anytime of the day. read more

This is a good Publix location, recently remodeled. But it is always busy and can be a bit of a hassle to park. They make delish pub subs here, but I always see a line. I advise ordering online in advance. I also had a bad experience with their soups, the crab chowder was full of shells and inedible. Hopefully they've improved but I can't bring myself to eat them from here because of that experience. The staff is nice here as it is as most Publix locations. read more

Publix has NOT been a pleasure at this location! What is up with the cashiers not wanting to do their job when it comes to WIC customers? Today I had my 3rd! Problem with a cashier who completely refused to hand me the receipts that print out for WIC before you have to press "ok" for the correct amount. Specifically, Carol L! She embarrassed me, argued that I had to press "ok" and wouldn't give me my receipts and then tried to tell me I didn't have to speak to a manager after her complete rudeness towards me. Because of her behavior the customer behind decides to be rude to me as well when he didn't understand what she was doing. She didn't do her job nor was she polite or respectful! I talked to the manager and he was so nice and also walked me outside and apologized for her bad treatment. Publix employees are taught that when the receipt prints for WIC purchases they are to be handed to the customer unless they decline. That receipt shows if all the items are correct and the money amount is correct and helps people keep organized. I always Want my receipts and I ask for it because it helps me. Publix is supposed to be the best supermarket with the nicest employees and this location has a few cashiers that should probably get retrained. I've been going to this Publix for years and I don't appreciate being treated poorly. read more

I've gotten rotting meat (more then once) from this store. The produce is often very poor. But last week the guy in seafood told someone that the COVID Hospitalizations were fake. Unless shoveling ice into the seafood bins now requires an advance degree in science, he should shut up. This is a poorly managed store and i will avoid it unless absolutely impossible. read more

This is a pretty good Publix (in fact the best the surrounding local area!) with lots of parking up front. It's location is easy to get in and out of and its surrounded by a lot of other shops so you can get other chores done like banking, pharmacy etc. Everything is well set up from bakery to seafood and there recipe stock is always changing and rotating. They have a great wine selection too! The staffing levels are always adequate and from check-out to stockers, the folks working here are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Recommend! This is my local publix and if it weren't so close I'd drive an extra mile to go elsewhere. The flow of this store is so confusing. I can never seen to find what I'm looking for when grocery shopping. Other stores have much friendlier cashiers. While some are great, this is the only publix I've ever had a cashier actually be rude to me. Also, the deli is AWFUL. Slow as Christmas and they don't care. The most recent time we went, we ordered 2 subs. It took 30 min and there was no line so this doesn't include time waiting in line. 30 min for 2 sandwiches! They had no sense of urgency while the line behind us grew longer and longer. read more

I stopped by yesterday because the subs in the deli are 5.99. We ordered online and shopped while we waited. I know they are always busy,that's why I ordered online after I waited 15 min the manager came up and helped then finish my order. I was really impressed by Joe in the meat department. I admittedly was trying to get out of being a real man and asked for my chicken to have the back bone and breast bone removed before I smoked it. He did this very quickly, no questions asked, saving me time and more importantly the frustration of doing this for the first time. Things like this show why Publix keeps a great reputation. Let me start this off by saying that I absolutely love Publix, I've been shopping with this company all of my life. But this store is an anomaly the store is clean and the employees are nice but the deli is the worst. They are absolutely the slowest team of people that I've ever experienced. You can literally die of starvation waiting on them to complete and order; it dosen't matter how many people they have working it's like watching glue dry. It's faster for me to drive to the Altamonte location to get a pound of cheese than it is for me to wait for someone in this deli to prepare it. Publix is one of the nicest chain grocery stores in Florida. This particular one is larger than most but the layout is a little awkward. It's as if they renovated an older Publix but didn't quite get the flow right. Staff is hit or miss friendly- in the aisles the employees seem friendlier than at the registers. Although the BOGO specials are a good deal prices are higher here than other grocery chains like Aldi or Walmart. Publix has also cracked down on their honoring of competitor coupons making it harder to save when shopping here. read more

This Publix has changes dramatically since I lived in the neighborhood. They have always had great service (this was a first job for a lot of friends) from cashiers to section specialists. I'm also a fan of their deli, wine and bakery sections. Their produce is also always fresh and fully stocked. Bonus - their sale section is fabulous! Overall...here's another fantastic grocer. It's also a bit larger, so they have a few items that may not be available at other grocery stores in the area, but the produce section could be better. The service is polite and friendly. I know there are some issues with various Publix stores and different areas. I went to one in St Pete which I wasn't very fond of, but honestly, you can't beat the selection and prices that they offer. Publix is the go to place for party trays, subs, deli, cheese and wine, bakery items, party supplies, meats and fruits and veggies. The larger the store the more they stock and the more variety you will get. The smaller the store the less they stock and the less variety you will get. I've been in older stores and newer stores so this is where I find the major differences. Older stores don't have the specialty stuff like the cheese and wine section along with a 'specialist' to help serve you. They also don't have a dining area near the deli for you to eat lunch if you are in a hurry and don't want to eat in your car. Honestly I shop no place else if I can help it. Publix means quality and excellence in the industry. There service has always been top notch and I've never met a cashier who didn't great me with a smile or a bagger who didn't say 'hello'. OK. I recieved a perscription the cost with insurance was 298.00. After doing some research i found a non expire coupon that made it 27.00. These are medical coupons for all perscriptions (well most). After i mentioned this to the pharm and the rudeness of him was unbelieveable. I quote" we dont know about the coupons" bull ,they know ive talked to many people about this that use them here all thetime. With that said publix take care of your cus. He has never been rude, but if he does not know my name a salutation of Hello sir would be a more welcomed greeting. I come in to this Publix fairly often, but it's usually for the butcher block/meat area. One employee, Mike, always stands out, provides great service, and does a great job, especially when I'm ordering 3lbs of beef tenderloin to make a beef Wellington. I usually only prepare that dish once in a blue moon, but he remembers me every time I stop by to ask for a custom cut and remembers exactly what I need. We physically came in and placed an order for a cake less than a month ago. This cake was supposed to be the centerpiece of our 4th of July party, but we never got it. Came to pick it up and we were told they didn't make it because "someone accidentally put the order slip in the wrong date pocket," so we ultimately wasted money on purchasing items to display this cake with and we aren't pleased. One of the blonde bakery women even accused us of being in the wrong store with a rude attitude and snarky facial expression.
