The produce and bakery are was spacious, and the wine area was nice too. I was able to get the birthday and gift cards. I found an open counter with an attendant, who was able to get me checked out in no time. The bagger asked if I wanted to the cards bagged, which I said yes. He got it done quickly. Both were very polite. This Publix reminds me of the one at the Marketplace near Dr. Phillips. I believe they used to have the Aprons cooking demonstrations. I think that's why this Publix is bigger than the normal ones. And best of all, they are one of the few Publix that still has the weight scale. This was a very large and more upscale Publix. Like it looks like someone is constantly out there straightening the labels on jars kind of thing. The isles are wide and there is no crowding in any area. So much room to wander and lots of selection to choose from. They have a place to eat after they make you your pub sub that even has a microwave. The Starbucks is now gone but they still get bagels from Einstein which is nice too. Everything you get at the hot bar is so fresh and generous. Great place to stop for lunch or shopping. Located in the small location in mills - Tiny supermarket but has loads of items. They offer fresh vietnamese hot and cool deli items such as summer rolls, fried egg rolls, coconut milk desserts like che', and sesame balls just to name a few. The summer rolls have shrunk in size last I recall but you get 3 pcs with peanut sauce (shrimp filled) for $3.50 - the non shrimp ones are $3. The snacks dept are priced reasonably. some chips/candies are under $2. The japan items are a little pricier. Staff here are friendly except for the cashier she has a little attitude when it comes to reprinting receipts. I bought 2 summer rolls - 4 chips 2 bags gummy candy and 1 box tea for a total of $24. I may come back again because some of the items they do sell I have not found elsewhere unless I do a little drive to west colonial area.

This particular location, the Publix near Lake Eola, is not a location I shop FREQUENTLY, but it is one that I pass through more than some other locations. It is centrally located, making it fairly easy to get to. It has FREE parking underground - which is a perk in that area because street parking, pending the day and time, can get a bit tricky to find. The staff is usually always kind. Since it is near Lake Eola, this location does get a lot of foot traffic, so at times, it can get congested. It is a bit smaller than some other locations, but again, you can get a good amount of what you need here. Outside of that, it's your standard grocery store.

It was very packed on Saturday with people from the area. I was able to go through the store quickly and pick up what I needed. They had a variety of options at affordable prices. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.

The services I was looking for, although a bit complicated in nature (so I thought), were offered at this location. I had a great experience with Liam who assisted me and took the time to explain my options, the costs involved and the types of services offered. I appreciated his professionalism and while assisting me, I was impressed with his ability to calm an irate customer who was complaining about who knows what. He had a team of supporters that came to assist and I wanted to compliment them for their efforts and how they handled the situation with this customer. I did manage to grab a sandwich while I was there. This was my first visit to this Publix location and while it's your typical Publix store, it needs some TLC for it seemed like an older store. Deli staff were super nice and were fast and efficient in assisting a crowd of hungry people. Keep up the good work! My five star goes to the Customer Service Team but I would give the store (appearance and organization) a three star for it seemed a bit unorganized and cluttered.
