Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

My friendly neighborhood Publix - they're amazing! So clean, well stocked and taken care of. As with all Publix stores, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The drive-thru pharmacy is super convenient and it's rare that you have to wait long inside or outside whether that be pharmaceutical or grocery. Also, best store for BOGO's read more

Even though I live in College Park, this is my favorite Publix. I usually go to this store for my usual weekly grocery shopping and only go to the CP Publix if I need something unexpectedly. For one, this Publix is big. That means more inventory, easier to find less common stuff, and wider aisles. The bakery area is a nice size with so much to choose from. And you know you can't go wrong with Publix baked goods. I'm a fan of their cakes by the slice (carrot cake- yummm!). The customer service is great and I never have to wait long at check out. Everyone who works here is really friendly. I don't think I've ever had an issue finding something I was looking for. read more

Even though I've got another one across the street, and a few other choices nearby, this one's my favorite. It's one of the largest. They always seem to have everything you want including expanded choices. And everybody's always super friendly. They really go out of their way to deliver exceptional customer service here and it shows. Model employees. 4 Stars for a big store with a really great staff! This is one if the nicer Publix stores in the area. Though I mainly go to the one in Mills 50 I found myself here and was pleasantly surprised. First off, it's huge! I was impressed with the variety and found a ton of local produce options. The thing that stood out though was the service. I was on my phone trying to figure out the right cut of beef to get for a romantic steak dinner I was planning. Brendan came up out of nowhere and asked me and my fella if he could help us. I took him up on it and he went over a few cuts that were good but was sure to tell us which was his go-to for a good pan fried steak. Lucky for us, it was also on sale! At no point did he look at us with any judgement (I asked some pretty dumb questions) and he didn't point us to the priciest option. Big props for someone going out of their way to help! On thing I'll note is that the parking is a bit narrow so be sure to watch out as you back out of a spot! Otherwise, this will be my second go-to Publix from now on (and I may even fill out they're receipt survey they always mention!). read more

One of my top Publixs to go .. wait. Publixs? That can't be right. Publixi? Nah, that can't be it. Publixes? Yeah, let's go with that one! One of my top Publixes to frequent in the area. First, it is a big store. A biiiig store. Lots of choices, larger produce/fresh section than average. Just about every trip, anywhere from 3-4 staff ask me if I need anything, so a definite "A" for the service. Also, there's WiFi in the store so I can watch all of my cat GIFs in the deli line - double bonus! As usual, it's Publix, so there's always some good two-fers or BOGOs. This store has a slightly larger gluten-free packaged food section than some of the other Publixes. However, not all of the GF are included in some BOGOs/twofers - so be sure to ask before you get to the checkout. Huge lot, plenty of parking, albeit skinny spots - so watch those mirrors on the way out! read more

I just visited this Publix after stopping in at the Starbucks nearby & found out that they have a specialty rack of British food! They had Flake bars, Aero bars & Heinz baked beans etc. I'm going to like checking out their new U.K. inventory while it lasts! read more

Working across the street from this Publix is awesome. Whenever I'm craving a lunchtime Pub Sub or need to pick up a couple of things, Publix is there for me. This is a big and nicely laid out Publix in Winter Park. I've always had pleasant experiences with the staff who usually don't mind dropping what they are doing to show you where something is, or greet you warmly at the cashier's counter. We all have a favorite Publix and although this location may not be my particular favorite (lack of Latin bakery items & no coffee counter - different Publixes have spoiled me), that is completely objective and there really isn't much you can't find at this one. I recently visited this location for the first time since my beloved Winter Park Village store is closed for remodeling. It was rather busy for a Thursday morning and probably , moreso, since this will be the main location for most of Winter Park until the WP Village location reopens in November. The parking lot lanes were rather narrow and not as spacious as WPV. So beware backing out because people sure like to speed up and down . I wouldn't be surprised to hear if collisions are common here. The store itself is rather large in comparison. It took me a few minutes to figure out the layout but I was impressed by the selection of items on the shelves. They even had every flavor of La Croix sparkling water which I find very hard to find. As I was paying, the cashier discovered that the bottle of Natalie's OJ I was purchasing was leaking. The guy bagging my groceries went to the back and when he noticed that the other bottle on the shelf was also leaking, he went to the back to get me a bottle that wasn't faulty. Talk about going above and beyond. Only pain of this location is leaving since you have to deal with 2 way traffic. If you don't want to deal with, you can drive around Moe's and American Cleaners to get to Minnesota Ave to get a traffic light to help you on your way! read more

This is my favorite Publix because they have the best bulk items section I've found in my area! The more "city-esque" Publix's don't have bulk items (Colonialtown, Eola, maybe College Park), so I hit this one up more often. I specifically buy raisins, peanuts, and dried beans in bulk, since I know everyone is wondering. They have a wide selection of organic produce at this location too, especially when compared to some other places. The produce has been fresh when I've bought from here. They also have a pretty good selection of "ethnic" foods and I've found good stuff in the clearance area as well. As usual the employees are all friendly and helpful as well. They don't carry as many Caribbean fruits as some of the Publix's south of 408 do, and they also don't have this wine jelly that somehow made an appearance at the Publix on University, but if you're not looking for those items, this spot will do the trick. read more

I was in the area on Friday afternoon and decided to check this location out for my weekly shopping trip. I normally shop at the 17-92/ Casselberry, 436/Casselberry AND Winter Park Village Publix locations. I almost always have to visit at least 2 of these locations because they are out of or don't carry specific items I buy regularly at one or more location. This Publix made it a one stop shop for the week. They had every item in every preferred brand I needed, and their organic produce section was full, lots of variety and good quality. This store is slightly out of my way, but I was able to get everything on my list in one stop. read more

They very helpful in the store! If you require help inside the store to load a heavy item in you cart, they are more than willing to complete this action for you. Not only do they bag your groceries, they take the cart out to the car if you would like them too. That's AWESOME service!! read more

Second time I've been to this Publix for a sub and second time they've has no white bread. At all, no white bread. Not impressive

Went to this Publix for a watermelon. The quarters on display looked horrible. Asked the produce manager to cut a fresh one in half and I would buy 1/2 of it. He rudely refused stated with an attitude that it was too late and he didn't want to clean up as he had already cleaned his area. This was 8:30pm with 90 more minutes remaining during store hours. Spoke to the manager in the front who did offer me a free watermelon and I kindly refused his offer. I was so heated with how the produce manger acted I didn't even want the free one. Publix is usually very accommodating for their guests. I ended up going to the Fresh Market down the street and got a watermelon. Get it together Publix. With so many choices out there you can't afford to mistreat customers. read more

Very weird store. I go there in the morning before work. Certain cashiers are roaming around the store pretending to organize candy racks while lines at the only 1 cashier working get backed up. Management seems to have no control over cashiers. If you are going to schedule and pay them to come in the morning because store is busy at least supervise them to do the work. Management hides in their little office behind the coffee machine while homeless persons come in and take all the coffee and sugar. Management is not engaged. And btw do not ask stockers a question. They react very rudely and tell you "we are only stockers". Btw lots of third party businesses park their trucks there during the day, pick up day workers, who leave their cars there, taking up space in lot and management is clueless. read more

Shopping really is a pleasure here!! They always have what I need plus unusual things that I can grab and go to a party. They have an exceptional staff. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help you - like find something special to take to party you're running late too or help you look for product that's 6 aisles over and on the bottom shelf and you never would have found on your own. They are so friendly at check out my one wish is they would hurry up (running late to party). I think the management team must be good because every time I'm in I see them actively working on the floor. I think that's very important to really know what's going on I your store. read more

I never thought I'd be reviewing a grocery store, but I have to give props to this location. We went shopping there today and I was blown away by the quality customer service. Every single employee I even walked near said, "Hello!" and asked how I was, without fail. The cashier was pleasant and very sweet. When we walked outside, it was pouring rain and employees with umbrellas were running customers out to their cars just to help them out. They were soaked to the skin and still continued to help everyone out who needed it. I have never seen anyone do that at a supermarket before, of any chain. I was so impressed that I'll be shopping at this location whenever possible. read more

I have always been a fan of this Publix as it is extremely close to my office and has so many different lunch selections.But, as of lately, i have noticed on a recurring basis that the sub station employees have a terrible attitude. Also, the station is often out of spring mix and the spinach looks wilted and so is the shredded lettuce. Why can't the spring mix be filled again? Why does all the greens looks old and wilted. SO frustrating when I am craving a sub or wrap. read more

This is my alternate Publix. My main Publix is in Baldwin Park but this one is right on my way home so occasionally I've stopped here. The Parking lot is a bit sketchy and clustered. Other than that this is the same Publix quality you are used to. This is a larger one, which I like. Bogos are front and center, store is easy to navigate. deli is fresh, sushi is fresh. Bakery is Fresh. They are always nice at the customer service counter and when you check out your groceries there is hardly ever a line. I love publix! read more

Nice clean store. Organized. Great variety of products. Only issue is with bakery. Came across a very rude employee when picking up a child's' birthday cake. I asked for something colorful, I got an all white cake with colored writing. Ok, let's fix it? She gave me attitude, and was extremely rude. Instead of trying to add colorful icing to it like I asked, she complained that it would fall off and ruin the cake. Another young girl tried to help and she made it passable with blue swirls on top. I have rarely encountered such unfriendly customer service, especially at a Publix supermarket. read more
