I have had it with the Publixes around here. They keep changing managers. Employees are rude. Not all but some. Arguing with me about the weekly ads. But tonight there was a tiny cockroach crawling on the Wild Mushroom Bisque soup. I went specifically for that and some salad bar which the bug most likely crawled into next. When I told the guy at customer service he said "Disgusting" and they immediately intercomed it but I just left hungry and appalled. Get it together! Raising prices. Cutting costs and cleanliness. This is one of the better Publix I have been to in Orlando. The layout looks nice and modern with many amenities. I find the sub ordering area pretty unique and cool. The vegetables and fruits look fresh. The space is quite large and spacious, and I thought I also saw a second floor area. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the lines were pretty quick. I didn't find parking to be a problem as the plaza was large. Even though this Publix is a bit far away from me, I would shop here again when I am near that area. Overall: A read more

First time at this location and I will be returning!! The location was either recently remodeled or recently built as everything is "high tech" and made to ease the shopping experience. I went in for a pub sub and was surprised to see a whole counter dedicated to subs. There were 2 workers which sped up the process. The line was pretty long (about 8 people) and I got my sub within 10 minutes! Highly recommend if you live in the area! read more

My absolute favorite Publix , everyone is super nice and helpful . Our favorite person I there is bakery manager , she is sweetest person ever , always smile always so helpful and above and beyond. This person need to be really recognized The sad part in this Publix is older lady cashier , she is always unhappy with grumpy face and no emotion at all . I use coupons and why not if I can. She is showing her attitude so many times and I report her to corporate and after that I went to store again and as soon as she saw me here we go , she made a face again ! Just another Publix adventure that's fairly similar to the rest. There was plenty of parking as this grocery store is located in a small shopping center. There is a little distance from the parking lot to the store front so be mindful. I had just a few random items to get at the store so it was a quick trip. The overall appearance of the place seemed cleaned with a rather larger than expected produce & meats section. There were a good amount of people getting the prepared hot food at the time (it was close to dinner). The place was clean with both normal checkout lanes and a handful of self-checkout lanes too. Plenty of employees working as well. I had wished that the place was organized a little more efficiently and there was less extra space throughout the store. This is an older Publix so the layout is a bit different from the ones closer to my house, but they still execute the same great customer service that has made Publix the premier supermarket in the southeast, the one that all other supermarkets should aspire to. For anyone familiar with Publix, it is easy to understand why Publix has become so popular and truly the premiere supermarket in the southeast. They offer great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, have very clean stores, phenomenal customer service and we cannot forget the subs that you can get at Publix. For someone being from the Northeast, it is hard to believe that some of the best subs here in Florida are available at a supermarket. Parking is pretty good in the shopping center and it is an easy entrance and exits to get in and out. Hole in the wall, I would strongly recommend a visit to this Publix. If you are unfamiliar with the supermarket, you will become a fan after one stop. And don't forget to get yourself a Publix sub. read more

What I love most about Publix is the amazing customer service that they provide and its the same customer service you get in every single Publix Supermarket. I remember this store back in its original days and now they have made a total makeover of their entire store it's essentially a brand spanking new Publix. I really love the design of the brand new Publix its design just flows so seamlessly especially from department to department. One of the great new designs is the breathtaking deli which has a 360 view meaning you can interact with associates and they can help you from every angle of the deli. The Publix Deli is one of the best Supermarket Deli's ever and one of the main reason why is because they serve Boars Head meats & Cheeses, which is so freaking delicious its mouth watering. This mew Publix also has a lovely Dinning Room Area where you can sit and enjoy your scrumptious delicious Publix Sub either made with Boars Head meat or just as good Publix Meat Bon appétit. This Publix is also bigger than most Publix you which is great because with kore space they can provide you with more of the things you want and expect from tour local Publix Supermarket. The only thing that I find that I don't like and its at every Publix locations is the pricing. You can get a better bang for your buck at other Supermarket, you just won't get the same type of customer service you are provided with at Publix. They treat you like if your were a part of their extended family and I find that quite refreshing. Part of their grand opening at this particular Publix supermarket was giving out free samples which I ate them all. This brings me to the end of my review, I hope it can bring you some much needed insight jnto the daily workings of Publix and was a nice read thank you. read more

I've been holding back on writing this review, in hopes that this Publix got it together. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case. When I moved to this area a year and a half ago, the Publix had been torn down and was under construction, and I couldn't wait for it to open, since it's 3 minutes away from where I live. I was so excited when it finally opened. New clean store, new layout, and it looks great! Unfortunately this new store comes with some flaws. I've tried ordering subs through the app, and I've had to wait at the least 30 minutes passed the pick up time. The third time I decided to take their slow prep into account, and would place the order 45 minutes in advance, prior to going into the store to shop for groceries. 65 minutes after I placed the order, I once again had to ask customer service for my order, because it still wasn't ready. I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. The following time I tried placing the order, I waited an hour before going over to do my shopping, and at the end I went over to get the subs, and I still had to ask customer service for my order. Customer service would comp the subs, but I much rather pay than wait so long. I stopped buying subs from this Publix. Then there's the bakery. I love Publix Bakery, but I don't know what it is about this one, but the bake goods tend to be stale. I've bought donuts multiple times, and they've been stale every time. Bought a carrot cake, and that too was stale. I've been to other Publix and gotten the same thing, and don't have that issue. The service from the front and customer service is on point, and the store is kept well stocked and clean. But the deli and bakery need a lot of work. read more

Ran in here a few days ago to grab some snacks and soft drinks while waiting with my son to take his driver's test at the nearby Tax Collector's Office. This is definitely an older Publix property. Everything looked clean (but needs updating) inside, including the ladies' room. I was greeted by several employees who said "Good morning" as they passed by me. The cashier was pleasant and efficient although there could have been another register or two open to keep the lines moving a bit faster. This seems to be an issue at most grocery stores these days! What's the point of having 10 or so check out stations if you're only going to use 2? Friendly staff made my morning more bearable after being stuck at the Tax Collector's Office all morning. read more

This is a very old school Publix. I have a feeling it might've been an Albertson's at one point because the layout is vastly different than most stores in the chain. As soon as you walk in you'll notice it's just not quite as modern as most Publix stores. It just has an old, outdated vibe. The bakery is all the way to the left and it's hidden around a corner. And for some strange reason all the ice cream is in this corner, as well. WTF? Then the produce section is also pretty well hidden on the left side. Again, this makes no sense. What were they thinking when they designed this store? Don't they know Americans like to shop counter-clockwise and putting the produce up front gives a sense of freshness? Burying it in the back makes it seem like they don't care much about it. The deli section is also oddly located way in the back of the store. It's very cramped and small; if a line starts to form it'll block traffic and really annoy the people just trying to get their shopping done. Overall, it's a fine Publix store. No worse as far as quality or cleanliness or selection compared to most (though it is noticebly smaller). I have a feeling corporate will give this store a complete overhaul and bring it up to the more modern look in the next year or two. Until then it's just a really "meh" store. There are a lot of other Publix locations less than 10 minutes away I'd rather shop at instead of this one. read more

The Mecca of Publix unfortunately isn't available up in Cincy, but it's still amazing nevertheless. I'm a big grocery store person (aka, Kroger is my second home), and whenever I travel south I always make sure to visit a Publix. Their subs and tea are a great go-to for ANY meal. The deli worker who served us was very polite and attentive. We loved our subs, tea, and most importantly, our visit to Publix. read more

I like this Publix. It is one of the older-style stores so it is arranged a bit differently than I am used to at my store, but I am still always able to find what I need. When I go in (usually after work) they will have an employee preparing the Publix Apron recipes. I love sampling the things they make and picking up recipe cards. I have been very lucky with check-out here. 5:00 is usually a big dinner-shopping rush but they will have plenty of registers open. Yesterday I overheard an adorable conversation. An older lady was talking to an employee in the dairy section, evidently requesting an item they didn't have in stock. He was so kind to her, saying he recognized her as a regular customer, appreciated her buisiness, and he'd be sure to get whatever she needed. His mom should be proud. This is a good Publix. I wish it was closer to home, I would shop here all the time. read more

The employees were extra friendly and definitely genuinely cared about our customer experience. We were having a very nice time doing our weekly grocery Thursday when we came across a young couple stuffing their baskets with candy. Really? It Was The Day After Valentine's Day And They Looked Maybe 14 Years Old. You Do Not Need That Much Candy! Go Get Pregnant And Watch Netflix Or Whatever 14 Year Olds Do These Days. Sorry for the capital letters I Am Just So Mad About These Kids!!!!! :-( They even came back to get MORE Candy After They Checked Out! Nobody needs that much sugar Especially 14 Year Olds and Publix should have put a price cap on how much candy they were allowed to buy. Have you ever had someone look at you and suddenly you fear for your life? That happened to me at Publix today! I went in early this morning to get some fruit to take in to work and the produce guys are busy stocking, one of them (The manager btw) was stocking strawberries which is one of the things I wanted. He looked up at me when he heard my heels hit the floor and gave me the most angry and disgusted look I've seen in.. I don't even know! I was expecting him to snarl and show me his teeth in warning to not approach him any further, but I'm getting my strawberries whether he likes it or not I mean that is the point of them being in business is it not? So people can buy merchandise from them... Anyway; I smile and say good morning and he doesn't answer at all and actually tried to block my way as if not to get them!! I was close to laughing out loud right in front of him but instead I reached over him (yup, I did) and took a good looking container of strawberries, and then said: "Have a great day!" I thought he was going to run after me and chase me down to take the strawberries back. Holy cow!!! I mean, apparently I'm the only this happens to because everyone else is giving this Publix 5 stars. This is not the first time I've run into such hostile behavior at this publix either, it happened to me a while back too at the bakery. I had asked if they had some multigrain bread because they usually have it out in baskets for you take,and the lady gave me an attitude like she didn't have time to check. What is up with the people who work at this Publix?!?! The only reason why I bothered with two stars is because the times I've gone to the Deli they've always been very nice and helpful, the deli manager there will chat you up and genuinely seems to care where as the produce manager will drop kick you in the face if you so much as approach his territory. I have been going to this same publix since middle school.... and I dont know if it because It feels like home when I walk in, but all employees are so helpful, and polite. They take ANY coupons without hesitation. The bakery is sooo attentive and always have fresh cookies for the kiddos (my daughters favorite)....and everything is super clean, organized, and you cant beat those bogo deals. I love publix brand as well and will prefer it over anything else..they have mastered it well. I love this location, and give kudos to the management team for doing a great job! read more

Another great location and just like all the Publix i have been to this one is as good as the rest, it has everything you need and also has Sushi and a nice bakery and Deli. Costumer service is awesome and they are open till 10pm,very convenient for the students near by in 10pm. The pharmacy couldn't be more incompetent. We have used Publix pharmacies for many years and they are typically fast when filling prescriptions. Not this one. This poor staff requests over a week for filling a basic prescription that takes the Publix across town 20 minutes. Embarrassed for them. read more

This is our local grocery store. Only a little over a mile from home for us so this is our go to stop when we don't want to fight the traffic to Walmart. The store is clean, the associates friendly and selection of fruits, vegetables and meat seem to be good. The associates are always eager to help. Cashiers are friendly and the baggers will ask if you'd like help to your car if you have more than a couple of bags. So what's the knock? It seems the prices here are high. But for us, it's worth it because we don't have to travel further, this is close and convenient. If you need to head towards UCF from here, you're going to have a hard time as traffic can get awful at times. I think a hidden gem about this is that they make fresh sandwiches at the back. The sandwiches are large, even with an appetite like mine, they're 2 meals. They also have hot chicken, their chicken tenders are really good. Great place to pick up a meal for lunch of 3 chicken tenders, 2 sides and a roll for $6-7. read more

I have lived in the neighborhood of this Publix for over 20 years. I refuse to go in here shopping as a staff that works here a very rude. And I shop with coupons and they are not coupon friendly here. They make you sick like you're stealing from them. Even the managers are rude. I prefer fear to go to other Publix nearby and not have to leave my groceries and walk out because they didn't take a coupon for it. read more

The store has potential but not my favorite. Lately the 'blockers' have been lazy and are just pulling everything to the front and not watching what products go with what tags. If you don't see the brand or flavor you want, but the shelves look nice and full, push the items aside and look near the back. The bakery is awesome and you'll not find a better place to order a Birthday cake. They are restricted to copy right laws and stuff, but they can work with you if you need something different. I went to the bakery looking for whole wheat mountain bread with no luck or assistance. I went to the produce section looking for edamame with no luck or assistance. I went to the seafood counter looking for salmon with no luck or assistance. I went to the bread aisle looking for whole wheat English muffins with no luck or help. Almost ten employees and managers wished me a good morning though. The cashier asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I have always shopped at this Publix and left my prescriptions here because it's convienient , but they have such rude pharmacy techs . Today at about 3:40pm we went to drop off a prescription coming out of the hospital , we saw only one person and two people were picking up a prescription and us dropping off a prescription making it a total of three customers , the girl told us she'd be right with us after the two customers in front of us which was fine , after she checked out the two customers two more people showed up to pick up and she proceeded to check them before us that were there waiting for already seven minutes . So we said "um excuse me we've been waiting , just to drop off and we were first" the girl rolled her yes walked over to us , and said "I don't know why you think it's okay to yell at me you aren't anyone to just because you came out from the hospital it doesn't make it any better to get you first the pharmacist is one break and I'm alone " I was in total shock I got treated like this she was so rude , and my mother than said to her "no one yelled at you simply that we were already waiting for a while , and you were about to continue to check out other people that came after us when all we are doing is dropping of something" I hope she gets told something , but a manager , I wished I saw her name but it was Sat , July 29 at 3:40 pm.
