This particular Aldi is ginormous compared to the one I frequent. It's located in a very busy shopping plaza next to dd's Discount. We came on a Saturday afternoon after leaving the Waterford lakes area. This Aldi is a lot more organized and has more selections to choose from and the aisles are very spacious. I like their selections of their refrigerated coffee creamers. You can choose from oat milk to almond milk in a variety of flavors. They also got a good meat selection as well. read more

This particular Aldi is located on East Colonial Drive close to the Dean Road intersection. This Aldi is located in a strip mall, the same one that has Northern Tools, so parking is not an issue. When I walked in, they had two check-out lanes open and the lines were moving relatively fast. The store was relatively clean, though the shelves were a bit bar, particularly in the meat department. I don't know if they just had a big run or whatnot, but, like I said, the meat row was definitely missing product. I guess that I have a love-hate relationship with Aldi. Some of their decisions to be more streamlined and efficient just are not customer friendly. My biggest complaint is that individual locations do not have a phone to call them. The fact that they sell bags for your groceries, while annoying, is at least understandable, but not having a phone is just ridiculous. While they have some good deals, other items should be avoided. All in all, four stars. read more

This Aldi location is close to home but when I need certain fruits and vegetables they never have! Even coming in I have a difficult time finding items. I know this is a very busy location but it's very unfortunate that I can not come here and not find items or even when I order on the Instacart app things are being exchanged and refunded! read more

I enjoy shopping at Aldi because of the affordable prices and the gluten free selection. It is a compact store so it is easy to find what you are looking for and when I went yesterday on a Friday afternoon around 3pm it was not crowded at all compared to Walmart which was packed. Aldi offers quality goods at a lower price. When I go, I bring a quarter so I can use a cart. Then I go in and typically make my way down each aisle since there are not that many of them. I like the vegetable selection and I also enjoy the meat selection. I also like the frozen foods. I do wish they had more snacks like my former Aldi in Connecticut but it is still a great shopping experience on your own. The cashier is always nice and I have not had to wait in many lines when I go. It is important to bring your own bags to bag your groceries after you check out. read more

I mean you can never really go wrong with ALDI, you can get a whole cart full of food for like $100! Remember to bring your own bags, but if you forget you can buy some for cheap or grab an empty cardboard box from around the store. Also you do need to remember to bring a Quarter for the carts (you get it back when you return the cart). I get all of my staples here, especially frozen ground beef, it is literally the cheapest anywhere around! I've got 4 boys so I'm always looking for a good deal on food ;-) read more

Adventures in food shopping in East Orlando continue with Aldi as the store of choice for this round. I think the majority of us know that Aldi has a pretty good selection of foods/house hold items at great prices. This particular Aldi is ok and near my home so if I'm ever in a pinch for black berries (look up the nutritional benefits of blackberries and then you'll understand why I'm so obsessed with them) or any other food item I usually come here and actually; I find myself coming to Aldi for my produce needs more and more as opposed to fancy fruit. It's fresher and recently seems to be less expensive. Things to consider about this Aldi: 1) Do be aware that at this location, there are other stores nearby, recently added to the repertoire is a store called DD's, so be careful not to get run over by adolescent girls stampeding their way to get first dibs on clearance items. 2) There also seems to be more often then not a sizable amount of beggars who have no qualms about marching up to you as you're trying to beeline away from them, asking for change, they especially watch you if you happen to put your Aldi shopping cart back and retrieve that oh-so-shiny quarter; just do what I do and put the quarter in your mouth and smile, see if they ask you for it then. 3) 5 layer bean dip is magic, try it; you'll see what I mean. 4) They have organic items at affordable prices!! Well... a couple of items anyway. 5) Do you know how much a pack of English muffins cost at publix? No, seriously; check it out, $4, here you get them for 99 cents and it tastes THE SAME. I had never shopped at Aldi before Covid. But with other grocery stores being cleaned out we gave it a try. I was impressed with the selection and prices. Don't expect to find name brand items but the items they have are comparable with name brand. They have a lot of gluten free items and foods for specialty diets and the prices are amazing. Which is important when you are feeding a family of 6. We love the fresh refrigerated pizzas that you just have to stick in the oven. Everything we have tried we have been pleased with. I need to start by saying, I love Aldi! The variety might not be as extensive as other grocery stores but, their pricqes definitely beats them. Aldi is my to go place. They have some amazing things here and great quality too. The have a small but good selection of fruit and produce. It might seem small but they have more variety than you might think. I love buying hummus, spring water, salmon, ahí tuna b brown rice pasta, and more. They have an awesome selection of healthy food and splurges. I bought three bottles of wine here at a pretty cheap price and let me tell you, it was soooo good. Sweet but not overly. Highly recommend it! They also have a great selection of chocolates. Yes you have to pay for plastic bags and rent the cart for $.25 but with those prices it is totally worth it. I will continue to come to this location because of the great customer service, selection, and prices. read more

I really enjoy shopping at ALDI. The compact market has most of what I look for, plus the fun goodies. They have a great aisle for snacks and the freezer boxes are stocked with some fun items, some which are limited and/or seasonal items. Shopping at ALDI keeps me focused on what I need to buy and not lost in every aisle like other markets. I also appreciate the speed of the cashiers. They may not carry all the big brands some know and love, but this helps keep prices low! My latest goodie purchase are these cookies resembling Girl Scout Thin Mints! They were really good actually! I recommend ALDI to all my friends and family. If you haven't shopped at an ALDI before, just give it a try! Just be sure to bring a quarter and some bags for your groceries! My days of stopping in once a month are probably over, my daughter's art classes have come to an end. However, she really loves the French vanilla cappuccino K-cups, so I picked up a BUNCH on my last visit. As with prior visits, I really just grabbed what I needed; and, headed to check out and out the door! I am absolutely puzzled why someone would visit Aldi and give them a negative review because they sell off brand products. Um, that's what Aldi does and why they are so cheap. If you prefer buying brand name water that comes from the same aquifer for $1.00 more per bottle, by all means. As for anyone else competent enough to realize that ninety nine cent English muffins taste the same at $3.00 English muffins, you will appreciate this store and the other area Aldi's that are efficiently run and offer the best prices on staples. This branch of Aldi is not bad. It's always busy and they only have like one cashier most of the time so the lines can get long. They also sell out of the bottle water often. However this store restocks their other items pretty quickly. I just don't like the environment outside. It's rare that I get to return my cart to retrieve my quarter, as someone is already angling for it while I approach my car to unload so they can take the quarter. Heck, I just leave the cart on the side as I don't want to walk all the way back or walk halfway through only to find someone intercepting me to return the cart. read more

I was excited when Aldi opened up in the old Winn Dixie, Save-A-lot space in Union Park. Now we have a choice between Bravo and the Walmart from hell in Union Park. The store is small but clean and orderly. If you have never been to an Aldi store you wouldn't be prepared for the need for a quarter for the cart which you get it back when you return the cart or the need to bring your own bags. This is a bag your own store and if you forget your bags you can purchase them or use a box if you find one in the store. The clerks are very helpful, an elderly woman purchased a rolling cart to carry her groceries to her car and one of the clerks stopped what they were doing and put it together for her. I was impressed, wouldn't see that in Walmart. Limited choices, not many brand names but decent prices on milk, and you don't have to wait in line forever to be checked out. Great if you need to drop in for basic supplies. read more
