Easy solid five for five star customer service and hospitality, consistently, over the years. We shop a few of the area's Sephora's and they've got it down here so much this is our preferred location. With a teen shopping makeups and all things girl cosmetics, I don't know the goddamed first thing about them other than to me, they're just overpriced fats and waxes, oils and such but tell that to a kid and ruin how it makes her feel. Nope. lol. Some of my friends are old Sephora managers and employees (not of this one), this is a good location. Trust me. read more

Really like this location! From the clean store to the really friendly staff, it was a great experience from start to finish. They require masks when you visit and are not allowing for any sampling on the products, which makes perfect sense right now and is greatly appreciated. I was able to easily walk through the store and look around, even with a full sized stroller. Looking at all the color offerings was easy and it's all well organized and marked. Staff was everywhere and super helpful. I found a couple of products I wanted and went to check out. They have plexi-glass up around the registers for extra precaution. It was a breeze to check out. The staff talked with myself and my little one throughout the visit and made us both feel very welcome. I love my new lipstick and already used the face mask for a 'spa night at home'. Overall: A+ Great location, excellent staff, and great care during COVID. read more

Four stars for in store shopping experience for me- the fragrance explosion inside always makes me cough, makes my eyes water and have a hard time breathing. Other than that- it's great! I gave five stars because I love shopping online and doing a quick in store pickup. If you do this option, they have a little locker right a the entrance where you can see a Sephora worker, show your barcode and quickly be on your way. read more

I haven't ventured much into the world of more expensive makeup, but over all I've found the service at Sephora to be much better than their main half drugstore, half high-end competitor. I came to this location recently and was really really pleased with the help I received picking out a much needed new foundation, as well as a few other products, and even better, some great tips to improve my skin care routine and make my foundation application better. Rather than try to up-sell me on products I didn't need, the make up artist I worked with actually dissuaded me from picking up a particular product she didn't think I needed with my skin type, which was just.. awesome. Now that is top notch service- I'm really glad I asked as many questions as I did. The store is a bit tightly packed with a TON of different lines and products, so it's not somewhere for the faint of heart, especially to navigate on your own, but I found the sales help here at this location in particular to be some of the best I've encountered. Definitely would come here over other locations, especially the mini ones inside JC Penney's. read more

My family has had a very negative experience with Sephora. Here's what happened. My sister purchased a gift card for my daughter during the Christmas holiday for $30. Sometime in January my daughter went shopping at Sephora, made a purchase, went up to the checkout counter and presented her gift card to pay. The store employee who was checking her out wasn't able to make out the card number on the back of the card, so proceeded to scratch some of the metallic coating off the number with her fake fingernails to no avail. My daughter stated (store employee), next picked up a box cutter to attempt to reveal the number and accidentally scraped most of the card number off the gift card! This in itself is not a big deal. It was not done intentionally. Naturally after the store clerk damage the card everybody was like oh that's unfortunate. Sorry we can't use your card that was including the manager on duty and we can't help you. My daughter was shocked and left the store not believing what just happened. When she got home, I promptly called the store on her behalf, explained to the manager what happened and she told me she was sorry, but she couldn't honor the card now and that there was nothing she could do for us? Again, I was completely caught off guard by this response and the inability of the staff to rectify the situation that I contacted corporate office. They told me they couldn't help me and told me to write a formal complaint which I did and the corporate office personnel also told me because the card was damaged that they couldn't honor the card. I don't know what is wrong with people that can't critically think and do the right thing for their customers. This is antithetical to any corporate customer service concerns. I did suggest to one of the corporate people I spoke with to review the cameras that are probably installed in the store to confirm that the store employee did in fact, scratch the gift card number off the back, but they refused. I once again reached out to the local shop here in town, and spoke with a very nice young lady by the name of Danielle, who was trying to help us but she too became unavailable and no longer responsive to our phone calls. My daughter still has the card and any hopes of ever being able use it have been dashed. We realize it's not much money, but this company should be held accountable for its inability to deal with a mistake, created by one of their own employees. read more

I'm a hardcore Sephora fan. I've never been pleased with Altamonte Mall's Sephora in JCPenny's so I was thrilled when they opened a flagship store in the mall. It's a smaller one than Mall of Millenia or Florida Mall, but it's shiny & new. There is always available testing equipment for all of the makeup. I'm a little bit disappointed in their fragrance section- I was in there earlier to get my hubby some cologne as a Christmas present & possibly buy myself a gift. I was going to buy Commodity's Book - but they ran out. When I asked an associate when a shipment comes in, she told me they just get boxes & she has no idea when it comes in so I might as well order it online. No offer to check other Sephora's in the area or even the one that's in the same mall in JC Penny. Which is strange because all of them offer to help - it's just good customer service. She gave me a sample that was filled to the brim - but still, when a girl has about 200$ of cologne in her basket & wants to buy another $100-150 bottle, you should help a sister out. I also realized that I had picks up the incorrect version of Invictus. A friend of mine offered to go grab the correct cologne - he didn't see it right away, so we all know the drawers below hold other inventory. Well he opened it out of curiosity since there was no one manning the perfume & cologne section (bad idea Sephora) & some came running from 50 feet yelling "What are you doing?" I really wanted to say, well helping myself because you're not manning your area. Maybe you shouldn't be huddled in a corner talking to your friends, & notice that someone was trying to get your attention it's a Wednesday night, it's not busy. Oh well. It's local. I can go to it. Maybe it was just a bad day. read more

This Sephora is always very nice when you walk in, the staff is always super helpful and kind. They're always willing to help you find what you need and are generous with the sample sizes if you're trying to find the right shade of foundation. I've been to this Sephora several times, and have spent forever in here, I mean really who really just goes to a Sephora, grabs exactly what they need and leaves? Well this time I actually did just that, thanks to the help of one of the beauty specialist. I needed new foundation, because you know, living in FL, my skin changes every 3 weeks . Anyway, she color matched me, and we chose a foundation and for the first time it was perfect! I mean, perfect PERFECT! I was so amazed! She was so nice and wasn't pushy on products, she let me choose and still made suggestions. Great experience! read more

The staff is friendly for the most part and they usually offer to order things for you online if they are out of stock of something. They also are more than willing to help you match and give you a sample to take home. The store is clean and it is pretty well set up. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I've had a couple employees be a little inattentive and a little quick to pass me off but that's doesn't happen all of the time. read more
