I ordered a product online which came in a box that was not intact and I decided to return it. First of all, I had to pay for return shipping as they don't cover it. They received the product and told me that I will not receive refund because the product looks like it was used. I told them that I had not used it. They said they never accept any used product returns so it's impossible that I would have received a product like that. So I told them to send it back to me since I paid for it. They won't even do that. So basically I paid $27 for their product that I don't even have. Tim Vargas and Ben Johansen are the managers I guess. They clearly do not care about customer service. Oh & their official website only has positive reviews because all reviews has to go thru their approval. Because I did a review there & it was never posted. read more

Do NOT do business with this company!!! They send you products that are opened, and when you try to send them back, they dispute the claim with a photo of the product and shipping label. This logic is SERIOUSLY flawed!! How do I know you put it in the box and shipped immediately after snapping the photo?? How do i know that you didn't just take that photo today?? And, on top of that, they're essentially calling me a liar... which I usually don't get so upset over $13 but this is NOW a matter of ethics. Editing this once 5 star rating because I recently tried to get ahold of Ben, one of the owners, via his business card by the register of the store. I called once and left a voice mail with no response, so I tried again the next day. He answered in a fake Chinese accent and proceeded to neg me until I hung up the call. The rudeness of that and the following email exchanges (because I've had plenty of pleasant interactions w him at the store, so i was CERTAIN it wasnt him), not to mention the blatant racism, will make sure that I definitely never step foot in this store again. Incredibly disappointing. I've been shopping here for years and would sing their praises to anyone who'd listen. Wow, friendly, helpful, kind, and very sweet owners! Great selection of professional make up, costumes, wigs, and unusual items that are hard to find for cosplay and costuming. When I walked in I felt a little bit intimidated by all of the masks and make up and didn't know where to start. I talked to one of the owners, Ben, he was super friendly and very helpful even though I didn't know what I was looking for. Appreciated their thoroughly helpful demeanor. I purchased over $300 of makeup, spray paint & applicators from Embellish for a group Halloween costume I planned on attending with friends in the Keys . The trip got cancelled. I called to see if I could return the items . The website says 30+ days for returns . Today is 31 since I PLACED the order & Tim ( who says he's the owner ) refused to allow the return. Tim was snarky, short and rude . He had great pleasure in telling me he would not even consider the return . Horrible customer service !!! I am having a 50 Shades of Grey Masquerade themed wedding in October. I wanted all the guests to have an amazing mask to wear and take home with them afterwards. . Both Tim and Ben were so great. They helped us pick out the masks we felt fit the theme the best. They even open an order that had just come in to see if there were any additional masks I might like. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed their store. and their assistance. Today is June 29th, I never received my shipment for an order that I placed on may 4th, Last week, I received a delivery notification, I replied to the email to let them know of the non delivery. I received no response upon which I called the number in the email, I was met with a Very rude customer service for no reason at all, I got yelled at by the person on the other end of the telephone who started yelling and calling me honey, saying I am trying to help you, very condescendingly, he continued to interrupt me and ultimately hung up on me. Once I determined where to park (in the second lot behind the building), and I entered the shop, I immediately knew I had not planned enough time to look at everything available and purchase accordingly. I was amazed at all of the options, the friendliness of the employees, and how there was seemingly yet another great find around every corner. My and my mother found a wig for her there we had a hard time finding for her costume for this years Halloween (professor Umbrige from Harry Potter) they were informative and helped her get the most from the wig. Had never had this happen, but I did as directed and found that they had sent merchandise to the wrong address.
