When I notified them I was going to need something to submit to my HCSA for reimbursement, I was given a printout which the insurance accepted without any questions. It is good to see an independent Pharmacy still around, however the advantages of using a national chain in my opinion far outweigh using the small Independent Pharmacies, especially if you travel frequently for work. I ordered a compound prescription that requires refrigeration and an overnight shipment to maintain freshness. However, this pharmacy uses the USPS to ship rather than reliable FedEx and thus it is late and who knows when it will arrive and if it will be effective. Very disappointed and will need to find another compound pharmacy. My prior pharmacy shipped this prescription with FedEx and it was always on time; however, they do not provide my prescription anymore. This is just an unforced error for this pharmacy. Recently moved here from Jax. There I would get 60 vaginal valium suppositories for my intersitial cystitis/pelvic floor dysfunction/potential endo for $60 (insurance never covers). I was paying $89 to have them shipped, so figured I'd try to find a place here. They tried to charge me $150 and I used my Middle Eastern Studies haggling skills to get then down to $90. Sounds like six of one, half dozen of the other right? Wrong. Dr. Phillips pharmacy does not package them right. Three times they melted because they were not properly sealed. I lost over $100. I was blamed, but it's not my fault Central Florida is hot as ba!!$ and the power goes out for a few hours because of a storm pretty frequently in the summertime. Yesterday, I had them transfer the Rx (which still had multiple refills) to Robert's Southbank Pharmacy in Jax, where I'd gotten them since 2014. My mom picked them up (they were ready almost instantaneously) and she drove them down (with my beloved golden). Even with gas this was cheaper than getting the poorer quality product at Dr. Phillips. Also (and I'm a lawyer not a pharmacist so cannot say this with 100% certainty), I don't believe they were compounded right at Dr. Phillips. The Rxs all said they contain 10 mg valium, but the suppositories from Roberts are so much stronger than those from Dr. Phillips. I actually got woozy and asked my mom to drive me to Publix, but the pain is virtually gone. If you suffer from severe pelvic pain and live in Central Florida, call Robert's Southbank Pharmacy in Jax. They're better than anything here, and the owner Gary will make you feel like you matter. read more

I am very grateful as well as my family is that Dr Phillips Specialty Pharmacy was able to fill my dogs compound prescription. On Friday 6/16/2017 I had to take my Captain to the specialist his live is not functioning properly. He was put on several medication and IV treatment. One of the Medications URSOIOL 215MG. The vet specialist had called Captains meds to another pharmacy. They informed me that they would not be able to have his LIVER medicine till Wednesday. I thought that was a little ridiculous since this was an urgent situation. I called several pharmacy's but this is a compound medicine it harder to find.
