Located right along a touristy strip, this location is usually full of customers and pretty short-staffed. They're always stocked, which is a great plus! BUT the wait at the cashiers line almost-always makes you regret coming in. The employees are always super nice and try to help when you mention you can't find something - or are missing out on a deal from your Walgreens rewards. Major props to everyone working here! This particular location would not honor the price tag that was on the shelf. In fact, they accused me of changing the price tags. So I had to wait for them to check the video. Then, the employee called management, who was not present. Management told them to not honor the price tag on the shelf. In the end, I was at this location for nearly two hours. I did have video of the whole thing, because I thought they were going to continue to accuse me of changing price tags. But this was the worst experience after having been a walgreens, customer and pharmacy customer for over twenty years. read more

This low-performance drug store will continue to stay active solely due to location . . . very close to a major theme park and neighboring hotels. I rarely visit here due to previous negative experiences, but this was a holiday and the others were closed. It was difficult to navigate the aisles due to numerous carts being used for re-stocking. I requested assistance with a price-check due to none being posted at the item, and the personnel denied my request for assistance. The store was not very clean overall. Best and maybe only choice for the sort of stuff you need when you fly in and travel light. Because there really isn't a lot of choice in the vicinity, the prices are high for the most popular stuff. On the other hand, cheap souvenirs are cheaper here than at the souvenir shops. Like other Walgreens they are short staffed and some of what you might want is locked up. High traffic so the place isn't really clean and well organized. Right in front of a bus stop, so it would seem to be convenient to even hotels down the road, but the LYNX and redline buses are so undependable you might be better off walking even if it's August. If you are from out of town and here in August, consider getting either an umbrella or a rain poncho while you're in here. The umbrella could also work to protect you from the unrelenting sun as well as rain, but cheap umbrellas easily get blown inside out when the rain is a tropical thunderstorm with high winds. read more

This is a nice Walgreens. The customer service was friendly and inviting. The store is very clean, well organized, and a really great place to get souvenirs. They had a bunch of reasonably priced Harry Potter memorabilia which cost a small fortune in the park. They also had a nice selection of Disneyworld and Universal souvenirs including character towels, keychains, and t-shirts . These are just few things that you can purchase and again the prices were reasonable. As far as Walgreens go, this one is pretty nice! read more

When you are trapped in Orlando with your girl at a nearby hotel with no car, you'll learn to appreciate this place. It was walking distance from the Hyatt Place hotel. I like to recognize team members that go the extra mile and/or provide exceptional customer service. Tonight I met one of your new hires, Fabienne. She was super friendly and personal. Did not make me feel like one more customer. She asked me if I was a regular. Her personality is perfect for the job as she is very natural and really provides good representation of your brand. Went to this Walgreens location to get a mini grocery run for my 5 day stay at a hotel nearby. They pretty much sell everything that you're going to need (breakfast-fresh fruits like bananas, apples, and chopped fruits in assorted pack, milk, juice), cereal, basically everything that you expect at a drug store! They also got a section with a bunch of souvenirs with keychains and magnets starting at $1.99 and most are priced at $2.99 or $3.99 which are pretty good deals comparing what you're gonna end up spending in the parks or at the airport. They also sell souvenir t-shirts which is really nice! Highly recommend this Walgreens location!! read more

Came in after dinner to grab a red box movie. Ended up getting stuff as always. From what I noticed they had two lines open the whole entire time I was there plus cosmetics for back up so people we're fairly in and out. The staff was extra friendly and this was 11pm at night. My girlfriend was buying some stuff and something went wrong that needed manager assistance. Needless to say they fixed it and she was quite happy, she even said the manager was sweet... aweee. But in all fairness for the time of night it was a good stop and it certainly lives up to my standards everything was well stocked and plenty of selection. read more

Ahhh, good ol ' Walgreens. They have everything you need and lucky me they are open 24 hours at this location. Even though it's not near Disney World there certainly is a fair amount of Disney gear at a reasonable price here. The store is primarily geared toward the tourist industry though, so you'll find a lot of electronic accessories and fresh food items. You can pick up a fresh fruit salad, a deli type sandwich or at kind of snack available. There's also a Walgreen's liquor store attached. Parking is never a problem as it's a large lot shared by other stores in the strip center. read more

Also wasn't expecting to buy clothes at a drug store, but I got my family some matching Disney shirts and an Orlando tank and pair of shorts for myself...lots of great souvenir stuff. This isn't a Walgreen's it's a giant souvenir shop. Aside from every single piece of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios memorabilia, clothing, toys and whatever other imaginable items they also have copious amounts of groceries everywhere. Now I'm not saying that that's a bad thing, however when you're looking for some simple aspirin or ibuprofen and you can't find it because there is Disney merchandise everywhere it can grow a little tiresome. I really don't throw one star reviews out very often because to me that is the absolute worst of the worst. This is hands-down the worst, dirtiest, and most inappropriately staffed Walgreens I have ever been to. I went into the bathroom and there was literally urine everywhere on the floor I had to turn around and leave immediately. I mentioned this to one of the managers and they said that they would take a look after about 10 or so when they get around to cleaning the store. Finally let me follow this all up with my check out at Walgreens where not only did the cashier never speak one single word to me, but also had an engaging conversation about how much they like to leave early with the cashier on the other side. If Walgreens corporate knew store operated like this the doors would be shot tomorrow. read more

Everyone knows I'm a Walgreens fan. This location in Orlando has a Walgreens Liquor store attached to it. I was so excited. Had never seen that before. Previous reviews refer to this as an "average Walgreens." It's not average to me. In Atlanta they don't have liquor stores attached. More amazing is that they have specials with your rewards card. I don't even think that's legal in Georgia! Anyway, the liquor selection is on par with other package stores. The prices aren't great, but they have cheap minis behind the front counter. Thanks Walgreen's sign makers for reminding me that snacks are next door. I paid and then walked outside to get to the door for the main part of the store. Super convenient and not as chaotic as I expected (considering Universal Studios is practically across the street). read more

Walgreens in a tourist area of Orlando off Kirkman rd in Orlando not to far from Universal Studios. Just like most people that review this business , it has your average Walgreens items in there but a few extras sense it is near a tourist area, the worst part about this place is getting here crossing Conroy and Kirkman. Walgreens is expensive compare to other convenience stores, you can get the same things you get here at a gas station cheaper the only difference is that Walgreens has a pharmacy and now sells liquor plus other things, it is like a mini grocery store. read more

I initially went in buying my usual foundation. I was immediately greeted by Jordan at the makeup counter. As I was wondering the makeup isle she was telling me the deals they were running when I came to a specific product, this girl knew her stuff! I ended up leaving with $75 worth of products and saved $30! She was super helpful, knowledgable of the products and so pleasant in general! This is the only Walgreens I'll shop at from now on, being there is a couple within 5 minutes of me. Great customer service all around, and she even gave me a bag of beauty samples after my checkout. I really enjoy this location because they are so coupon friendly. The only negative part is that there is always a super long line and there's never a such thing as getting in and out. Overall, a very average Walgreens. Stopped in here during a recent stay at Universal Orlando. Our hotel was right around the corner, and we needed some medicine and other supplies. Very clean store in a nice plaza, and very convenient for anyone staying in this area. The prices were a bit higher than anything you'd pay in a Target, but that's like that in any Walgreens. Was pleasantly surprised to see they didn't JACK up the prices on everything, seeing as how this store is less than a quarter mile from the entrance to Universal. You can find anything you need as far as your typical drug store sales, but they also have a very nice liquor store on the side, so if you need a little something to drown out the kids during the trip to Universal, or to help you unwind from a long day walking in the Florida sun, they offer up a lot of choices in that area. Had a good experience here, nothing that blew me away, but definitely recommended if you're staying in the area and need anything for you or the family. read more

I went to this Walgreens because my stomach was upset. While waiting in line, an employee tried to engage me about getting a flue shot. When I got to the register, the cashier tried to get me to buy gum, candy, etc. I had to cut him off. The last thing I wanted with an upset stomach was crap food.
