All in all, this 7-Eleven is a fine convenience store located in the downtown area of Orlando, Florida. It is across the street from Graffiti Junktion and does not allow for gas, however oh, they have the full range of convenience store items inside this particular store. I have seen a few review state that the people are rude here, I have been in here multiple times and I have never noticed that. I also seen a negative review about cars being towed when people park there and go to other businesses. Yes, I could see that really upsetting you. However, this has been a long enforced policy and I guess I can understand it because people would park here and spend the whole night going from here to there. Being that there are hundreds of 7-11s around Orlando I never thought to write about my experiences there. Although, I must say, the service at this particular one has almost always been pleasant. The associates generally are good-spirited and will make jokes with you as you check out. This store also happens just to sell convenience items and no gas. It's located on a busy Thornton Park corner so expect to find it busy at all points of the day. And now, most especially in the morning hours when people are grabbing their coffee. Should you feel so inclined, and comfortable with your political position, you can purchase a styrofoam, 20 oz. cup with either Obama or McCain's name on it; red for McCain and blue for Obama. The store will add it to their poll and will post the standings as they change. Today it appeared as if they were all out of blue cups which could possibly explain why the poll currently sits at 79% of customers supporting Obama and 21% supporting Mr. McCain. And if you would like an extra dose of news to go with your politically charged cup of joe, they have a special deal going on: $1.99 for the USA Today and your 20 oz. cup. Personally I think that's a great way to get people drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. So far, it's been a hit here and a playful way to show your candidate of choice. read more

I parked here to step into Starbucks next door to use the restroom for less than 5 minutes and my car was loaded up to be towed. The man then charged me $60 to take my car off of his truck! Meanwhile the 7-11 was dirty and crowded. The employees from the other stores shared that this is a frequent occurrence and they are always looking to tow people at that 7-11. Well, happy Valentine's Day....that money was going to be used for my students but can't anymore. read more

The 7-11 in Thornton Park - I stop here most for the Redbox outside! Bummed it doesn't have gas and it's a smaller convenience selection as well. Other than that this is your basic 7-11. The parking lot is connected to starbucks so be careful if you try to park there to run in to the bucks cause it's not allotted parking. I have had pretty good customer experiences each time I stop in. The usual all around though. read more

Beware of parking at the store parking lot to purchase there because they will still tow your car and the manager Bobby who will do nothing but intimidate you if you complaint. The store manager and their staff do not care about your car being towed as a customer and they send you to corporate when each 7 Eleven is owned and operated independently. Went for a croissant and costed me $150 including the Uber, plus 2 hours of my time, to get my car back and that is after purchasing there as a customer. I will never go again to that store and will stop sending my employes there! read more

This is my favorite downtown convenience store. The people that work here are very nice especially Bonnie. The local homeless populace generally don't bother you and there is always available parking. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. There is a white, old man that works there who is extremely rude and irrational. He refused to sell me a small box of wine once because my hair was short in my ID and long in real life. My friend who was with me told him about my trans identity, explaining the difference in hair length, but he still refused to sell. The next time that I went in there, which was perhaps six months later, he immediately started shouting at me that there wasn't a bathroom for me to use. I kept telling him that I didn't need a bathroom. I wanted to buy a snack, maybe ice cream. However, he wouldn't stop shouting at me about the bathroom until he saw my friend and I going towards the slurpies. He then proceeded to make smartass remarks about this. I was so angry that I decided not to buy anything. I chose to exit the store while my friend paid because I couldn't stand to be around this pathetic man. He angrily asked me if I was going to buy a slurpy as I exited and I said "no." He then shouted at my friend that hers was on the house then. I don't know what his problem is, but it seems like he has something against LGBT people, so I would avoid this place if I were you. I don't recall doing anything to make him treat me this way, but I definitely did not deserve to be spoken to the way he did. read more

I live in Thornton Park neighborhood and cringe every time I come in this 7 eleven and have to deal with the loud, obnoxious Latina woman behind the counter. She never greets me when i enter the store and when I get to the register she doesn't say one word and when I ask any questions she starts talking loud and obnoxiously antagonizing me as if I should know 7-elevens policy. When you make the decision to be in customer service you sign up to be warm and friendly to customers. I have never disrespected or been rude or even had a conversation with this woman yet she treats me this way. I come to this store often because I live in the neighborhood. I will not be made to feel uncomfortable every time I come in this store and she is working. I'm going to research until I can find the manager/owners of this location to complain and hopefully have her removed. I'm sure I'm not the only customer she treats this way. read more
