Made my first visit to this ALDI because I was looking for a very specific item in the "ALDI finds" section. Unfortunately, they did not have the item in stock. I asked one of the workers about it and they came over to check the aisles with me just to make sure that I hadn't overlooked it - so they were helpful. It was a busy time, and it looked like they were busy restocking the shelves so there were people and boxes everywhere, or at least it felt that way. Even still, I was able to get in and out without much difficulty. The parking lot is a large, shared lot belonging to a strip shopping mall. The layout and selection seems to be that of a standard ALDI, so if you shop here, you pretty much know where to look for any of the things that you would normally purchase. They have both self-checkout and a cashier lane. Overall, it is okay. read more

A small location in the middle of Altamonte Springs and State Road 434. But it's the usual nice staff and decently priced groceries at this ALDI store in-between Jo-Ann Fabrics and Office Max. Just don't like the parking lot here as it's small, confusing and there's always construction. Otherwise, it's a decent location. read more

Today 5/21/2023 @3:35 I went to do my weeks worth of shopping at my nearest Aldi Store #005 924 W. state road 436 STE. Altamonte Springs Fl. I was treated unprofessionally by an Aldi cashier and was also racially profiled she was rude and left me several times at the belt she kept getting up and going to the back, not once she excused herself she did how ever spoke to me with a so called accent like I did not understand English. She was rude and unprofessional i removed and check myself out. She should not be working with customers. I'm a manager myself and this should be corrected it is disgusting and unacceptable and unwarranted. I'm a paying customer no one should be treated the way she treated me in front of so many customer like I was her kid. Shame on you for hiring such a unprofessional individual. read more

This used to be my go to ALDI when I lived in Altamonte. Since moving to Longwood the Casselberry location has been my new spot, but they started remodeling the Casselberry location so back to Altamonte I go until they finish. Altamonte was renovated a few months ago and it's a complete new store. I like the layout much better now and I look forward to when Casselberry looks similar. It looks like they have more registers but still only one or two are open when I go. I got a great little rust proof suction cup shower caddy today for less than $5. Some of their home and kitchen goods are a really good deal. This week they had the lowest price on baby carrots and mushrooms so I grabbed both. They have great prices on pork tenderloin and they've always been good quality every time I buy them. Check it out if you haven't been yet, lots of great produce and dairy deals. read more

I can never get enough of Aldi's! Whenever I have to get groceries, I get excited! This means I get to see the "ALDI finds" aisle and the sporadically placed throughout the store limited-time only products. In particular, I was excited see a few things - a compact version of Candyland, truffle oil mushroom ravioli, and Dutch beer. This is why I love going, it's always affordable for your essentials and for the special products you can only find there. If you notice when you check out there are barcodes on all sides of the products so the checkout process is much faster when scanning and you can also use Apple Pay. Never fear when you only see one checkout aisle open. I bring my own reusable shopping bags otherwise you pay minimum 10 cents or $1 depending on which bags you want. If you get empty boxes around the store, then after you checkout you can organize them on the side shelving they provide, same with the bags. Don't forget to bring a quarter that you will get back for the cart. Update: they are not taking any returns or exchanges during this time so make sure you get what you are planning on buying, impulsive or not, especially when it comes to the fun ALDI finds aisle! Remember that if it says "ALDI find," it is limited and does not get re-stocked until the next year. read more

Casselberry is our usual go to Aldi but the Altamonte store was just remodeled and opened up again this weekend. So the $5 off $30 purchase that came in the mail was enough to entice us to go back and give it a try. they were also handing out free Aldi shopping bags which are quite large and quite nice. The store remodel looks very nice and is much more spacious. Things have been moved around so it'll take a little getting used to finding some of our favorite things. All these are go to store for fresh vegetables, frozen foods and wine at a cheap price. Their prices on fresh vegetables are generally the best in town. Like other reviewers on here the parking lot is a bit of a hassle. we prefer the Aldi in Casselberry because there is more in that area to complete our shopping. read more

Like many other recent reviewers, I am also counting the days until the Apopka Aldi re-model is complete! I started coming to this Aldi for that reason, and I do not enjoy it. The trip into Altamonte with the constant traffic is not pleasant, and this Aldi has the worst parking lot of any one I've ever been to. It shares the lot with many other businesses, so it is always full, and the lot itself is on a steep gradient, so the shopping carts roll away very easily. Due to the number of curbs and the shared lot, many people do not feel as inclined to return the carts to the storefront at this location, either. While I have never found the staff at this location to be particularly rude, I have never found them to be particularly friendly, either, constantly cutting people off down the aisles with their re-stocking carts. I never have issues with the cashiers, but again, they are never particularly friendly, either. Overall the Altamonte Aldi leaves much to be desired, making me miss shopping at the Sanford Aldi, and leaves me with much anticipation for the Apopka Aldi's re-opening. read more

I think this Aldi is bigger than the one in Apopka, and it definitely seemed to be a lot more busy and with more cashier's desk! Its layout is very different from the one in Apopka, which is my regular store, and so that meant I was walking around the aisles for a bit, as stuff was located in different places. I too echo that parking was a real pain as also mentioned in other reviews, but other than that, I will continue to shop at Aldi, especially for the EU foodstuff range, especially the pasta and sauces from Italy which is really delicious and the price is much better than at Whole Foods. However I haven't had much luck with Aldi cheeses so far, but they always have unexpected things pop up in the shops, so I suggest stop by and browse - you never know what you might find! What? I had to ADD this Aldi? Well let me tell you it's not on account of there being no shoppers here. Per my review of their site in Casselberry, their business has really grown. The only thing to add is the 'funny' practice they have here when the line gets long (haven't seen it elsewhere, yet). The check-out clerk (who are always pleasant and efficient) would, between customers, go to the middle of a long line if she's the only one open, and tell you to go to another line, which at that time would be unstaffed. She would then call for "back-up" and while you're doubting what she did (especially the first time this happens to you), the clerk for the new line will magically appear and check you out - at which point you feel bad for the person left at the back of the FIRST line who's STILL waiting (or DO you?) read more

This is not my go to Aldi but Apopka is being remodeled right now and this one will have to do. It comparison to other Aldis, this one is not as good. I don't like the parking lot. It's on a steep hill and the cart keeps rolling away. They also have a hard time keeping the store stocked. I think staffing hasn't changed much but now all customers from Apopka are coming here as well so it's super busy, long lines and certain items are not stocked. It's the third time coming here since Apopka closed for remodeling and I am counting the days until my store is open again. Other than that. Aldi is amazing!! I grew up in Germany and it's a german grocery store with a lot of goodies, I can't find anywhere else. Prices are great and I love that their products do not contain GMOs and bad food dyes. All hail Aldi!! I love the Aldi chain. Typical store I have found for Central Florida. A variety of wholesome food you can't beat the prices on. Your bill will be cut about 1/3rd from everywhere else. They have wine too! Unfortunately, I deducted a star as the stores are smaller and the items are often out and not as diverse as Aldi's in South Florida. I hope to see them step it up! Don't forget to byob ( bring your own bags- not booze- lol!) as they work to save money wherever they can and your 25 cent deposit for a cart if you need it. Total garbage, rude staff who threw my purchases into a shopping cart. I made the mistake of coming here because a friend told me they had wild caught salmon. First of all, it was NOT wild caught. It said "fresh," and you can throw "fresh" in front of anything. Our cashier was a rude woman with a five O clock shadow. We went to take our cart full of things and she stopped us and said "NO THIS IS MY CART" even though there was a cart right next to her. The bathroom had fecal stains on the toilet lid. Unless you are absolutely dying and every other location to buy food was obliterated by a nuclear bomb, I can find no real reason to ever visit Aldi again. Especially this location. read more

Disappointing. I had never been to an Aldi before and was really looking forward to it but I won't be returning. They did not have some of the products I specifically came for, like açaí mixes. In all fairness, they may have actually had these products but good luck trying to find an aldi employee to ask any questions. I only saw two cashiers in the entire store, which caused the check out lines at 7 pm to be too long to even wait in line to purchase the only two items I found. read more

This is my first visit to this Aldi location. I was visiting my son in Altamonte Springs, and we went on a grocery run. This is your typical Aldi laid out in four aisles. The layout is the same as in all of their stores. I did notice some cheeses at this location that are not my typical location that I go to. All the employees that I encountered were very nice, very friendly, and very accommodating at the register. If you're looking for basic groceries, at some very inexpensive prices, then I recommend Aldi. read more

We find Aldi's almond milk to be the cheapest around @ $2.49 as of Feb 2015. Products are decent for the exception of their produce. You will find them either picked too early or find some with mold. If you're looking for assistance let alone professionalism from their employees, this is not the place for you; however, if you like your cashier to roll their eyes on you or make inappropriate comments, come and shop here where management is always never to be found! the workers in this store are ok, but seem to be oppressed, and unhappy. there is no surprise here because the tall dark woman manager is very nasty , rude abusive and arrogant. i have been abused by her myself and i am extremely handicap. up till less then a year ago she was just rude, but one night a chicken was leaking all over no matter what i put it in and when i got to the belt i had to ask the very nice cashier for paper towels. as i stood there other people got on line and the one behind me did not put her items on the belt. this tall woman manager came storming out of the office and stood behind the cashier with her hand on her hip staring at me while i was wiping the blood from the chicken off my hands as if to intimidate me. she then stormed between me and the belt and put the other womans things on the belt, then tried to pull the cart between me and the belt. this was concerning because i have had a broken neck, 12 herniated disks, and 3 central nervous systems disorders due to being hit 12 times in my car. looking at me you can not see the disorders or the pain i am in but i do not need a frustrated nasty manager pulling a cart between me and the belt while i am trying to get my money card out of my wallet. she then said something nasty to me and i answered her that she has always been very nasty to me for no reason...........i called the area manager and he was annoyed instead of concerned. almost a year later i asked someone working there if she was still there and they said no. i went in this week and was told she was there and said i could not shop in this store. can you imagine that a manager was not only allowed to be nasty and rude and abusive to a handicap customer, but also allowed to bar her from the store. she knew better then to try to trespass me because i would have sued the store. i called corp again and they said she blamed me (no surprise there). i am shocked she was allowed to go back to the store and that they did not care how she treated some of the customers. i have always enjoyed the other workers , but the manager makes the entire atmosphere ugly because of her ugly ways. i will shop where i am treated with respect and managers are not allowed to abuse customers or workers. and this is not the place. this is the only aldi's i have seen this in. read more

Inexpensive with a good selection of food and home goods. I especially enjoy the imported foods from Germany that rotate. The chocolate brioche bread is to die for! Cash and debit only, no bags so bring your own, and it's 25 cents to use a cart but u get that back when you re-rack it. read more

My local Aldi, has a great layout & is always stocked with the food I need. Prices are very for the good quality food. I mostly stick to the whole fruits & vegetables, gluten free items, nuts, seeds, oatmeal & organic products. They also have inexpensive wine & paper products. Food I don't tend to get here are eggs, dairy, and most meat products. I stear clear of processed foods and freezer foods (except vegetables ) for personal healthy eating concerns. I like there seasonal items to add some fun, not everything is food related. They also have fresh flowers at times. The staff are vey nice and work fast. They have clean bathrooms. If you have never been here before bring a quarter for your cart & reusable shopping bags. They cut costs by not using bags and by having people return their own carts. This is my first stop for groceries, to save on costs then I shop at other stores to get the rest of my list. It is like a mini Costco. I would highly recommend it fir those wanting to eat clean & save money. read more

ever since opening this aldi's has gone downhill; some of the helper's obviously do not want to be there; the manager is dufus--laughing at comolaints; store looks unclean/disorganized compared to other aldi;s ; just today tried to buy an item comeo up not shon in the system; so cashier gets another girl to ge get prices and they cannot find the price --no longer being sold--then she goes and opens another cash register and i am standing there looking like the manager ( a dufus); when opened the opening manager from chicago was fantastic personality ; service; everything then got tansferred to another store and we went ther to visit and he still was the same pleasant person we remember. now this forest city store continues (at least with us) to have these issues---including veggies that come out of there storage mostly rotting---why not take them out instead of just thrwoing them on the counter for people to sort thru; prices (i know set by corporate ----not so hot for the quality--ex: took back large shrimp becasue when opened the size of mini me's--in addition to other item which are just cheaply made. of course there are some decent tasting things --snacks; chicken salad etc. but overall not worth it for us to even go there for all the aggravation and sour pusses stocking areas.; will say the cashiers do a pretty good job and are pretty positive. read more
