I have to say that I like this layout of this particular Winn-Dixie. This location is not far from where 436 and 17-92 intersects, which makes it an extremely convenient location. Winn-Dixie has done a lot in changing for the better in the last few years. When I moved to Orlando, Florida back in 2001, Winn-Dixie was a great supermarket chain to shop at, but over the course of time and years, Winn-Dixie slipped in quality significantly. It was such a significant change that I pretty much stopped going to Winn-Dixie unless it was for a specific item that was on sale. Somewhere along the way, Winn-Dixie, or rather Southeastern Grocers, which is the parent company of Winn-Dixie, noticed the slip in quality or probably more likely, they noticed the declining trend in sales and they took action. These actions are definitely for the better. The best improvement that Winn-Dixie (and Southeastern Grocers) made is in their meat department and put an emphasis on getting a better quality beef. They also carry USDA Choice and put an emphasis on that beef instead of their inferior beef that is only USDA inspected and not graded. For a supermarket that once called itself the Beef People, it is great to see that they are focusing on their beef once again. All in all, this is a great Winn-Dixie location and one that I would definitely recommend and I give it five stars.

So let me start this review off by stating the fact that, this is the nice Winn-dixie that I've ever been to! They also planned the layout wisely, once you walk in, there's the deli and wing bar right in front of you! Luckily for me, this is what I came for. I don't know if they have a time limit on when they get rid of the chicken like other locations, but these wings were fully stocked! Not only were their wings, there were mini corn dogs and potato wedges to fill your box with. The biggest box is $12.99, so fill it up as much as possible and you can mix and match the flavors, if you're cool mixing your flavors. The flavors available are, plain, breaded, BBQ, Teriyaki, Buffalo, Ranch, and lemon pepper. The wings aren't bad, so I'll definitely come back to get wings real quick and call it a day. Winn-dixie also has a self checkout lane, which also makes the visit convenient.

Amazing produce section over all store looks amazing ...and I love my fuel perks

Once you…read moreexperience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.

Can people please respect the scheduled pick up parking which they should NOT put their cars?! Inside the supermarket the aisles are well organized and maintained with the typical fruits and veggies, poultry and meats, all kinds of snacks and deli plus bakery. Plenty of cashiers to get you through but it's rare every one of the lines is open. They usually have enough for peak times. The building seems to have the older feel to it but it's a good sized Publix which carries a lot of variety.

I honestly assumed they were more of a prestige grocery store like Whole Foods but the prices were comparable, if not cheaper, than Publix or Sprouts. The store itself is really easy to navigate, which made the whole experience feel quick and stress-free. You're not wandering around trying to find things, everything just flows well. What really stood out was their meat and seafood options, which had assorted seasonings, looked fresh, and were well-displayed. I bought a nice cut of salmon for only $10. It's a boutiquey grocery store where you can grab high quality ingredients without the hassle or crowds like you find at Trader Joe's. I plan on shopping there more frequently, especially for their hot food deals.

While, I do prefer the Winter Park location (as it is also near some other eateries and shopping areas), this location is also good. There's ample parking. It does get pretty busy but for the most part, you can usually always find parking. The staff are kind and helpful (when and if needed). The food options / varieties are great! They offer various cuisine types for just about everyone. This is also inclusive of their dining options (ie their hot and cold bars, bakery and the like). They have a range of household items, personal care items, toiletries, groceries, and so forth. So, again, you can usually find most of what you need. As far as their dining options go, I've gotten a hot lunch from Whole Foods on numerous occasions. I never eat there - but you can if you'd like as they have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating options to enjoy your meal. I'm usually not disappointed with the options. I also really enjoy a number of their soup options. The bakery is probably my favorite section! I'm always leaving Whole Foods with something sweet.
