Great selection and fantastic customer service. I finally found frozen falafel and falafel mix. I can't wait for the cafe to open.

They have a huge selection of foods and goods! The meats and produce looked so much fresher and well kept than large chain markets! I bought some produce, some interesting canned goods and some sugar free chocolate orange cookies! The cookies are a little dry, but nice for sugar free! I can definitely see coming back here. They have a good variety of pickled vegetables too! I got some canned stuffed tomatoes that were pretty nice!

It was just great to see her smiling and enjoying her talk about all of the foods she grew up eating. All the foods she ate were all right here in this supermarket. And she told me how they were eaten and which foods to buy. We spent a couple of hours here filling up our shopping carts. And we even got some snacks to munch on in the car. I don't remember the names of the foods we bought but I must mention that the pastries were very tasty. There is a little bakery inside the market with layered sheet cakes and pastries that are a must try. We grabbed few pastries--- each one with different ingredients. The cabbage one was my favorite. You can eat it hot or cold. We also grabbed a few cheesecake like snacks and those were pretty tasty as well. If you're not familiar with Eastern European food, I recommend going with someone from there to help guide you in what to get. I promise you'll be in for a real treat!

It is a one story shoppe (no lift) on Mills avenue about a block north of Colonial Drive. This is not a restaurant so there is no loo. I found sports memorabilia for Manchester United football which would be sure to illicit a 'Bloody Hell' from my cousin who is a Rangers fan or the one who is Celtic fan. They even have a Man UTD brolly. The frozen food choices are expansive so if you are utterly knackered and don't feel like cooking. You can pick up some food such as bangers, pasties etc and just heat it up. I used to have my friends and family bring back Radox shower gel when they traveled abroad. Now my friends can tell me to sod off because I can purchase Radox Herbal Bath and Stress relief at the British shop along with another favorite Coleman's Shepard pie mix. The owner was very friendly checking me out. I saw another customer loading up a basket of the frozen items. I found there prices comparable to other import shops in this area. They have lots of cute kitschy items but real food and a lot of items (like their sweets) I can see myself purchasing. I couldn't help myself as I gave a quick little 'Pip Pip' on my way out.

The prices for the imported dry goods is insanely reasonable. I've looked some of the products up online and they were a third the price. Fresh spices, produce and frozen good selection was the best part for me. This is a place I have drove past so many time but now will make a staple. The customer service was friendly and they were stocking more fresh produce while I was there. You have a request, just ask and they will see if they can get it for you. If you're looking to eat. Ask them about their delivery days for extra fresh options. On those days it's like I just picked it from my garden. The customer service can be exceptional. Most of the employees give great service. However, there is one employee who seems to get testy as she seems to allow her moods to rule how she interacts with customers. She seems to be selective too, as I've seen her treat some customers badly and others well on the same day. She use to be nice with me until one day she accidently short changed me. When I brought it to her attention, she denied it. I smiled and said, "Well it's only a few cents anyway. If you find your register is over at the end of the day, you'll know where it came from." I had given her a quarter; she counted it as a nickel. It's very immature and unprofessional and petty to hold such a grudge, thus I couldn't give 5 stars. But I don't let that stop me from enjoying the good qualities of shopping locally. We are blessed to have a family run produce market in our neighborhood where most of the service providers take pride in their quality goods. They even have a few organic options.
