Very honorary mention for Hector working at the deli! We came near opening time and he was occupied with slicing some deli meats, but quickly acknowledged me and made his way over within a few minutes. He was very polite about the making of my sub and ensured he laid every piece of meat and veggie evenly throughout the sub - which if youve been to a sub place, you know that's not always the case. I don't shop at Publix often but there are a few items we can not find other places that we enjoy. We had some time to kill while waiting for our lunch spot to open and we stopped in to pick up a few items. We found what we needed and picked up a couple sale items on the way. All the employees were wearing masks and they have dividers at the checkouts. read more

It breaks my heart that I cannot give this beautiful, clean and well-stocked Publix 5 stars. However, the last couple of times I was there, several customers were roaming the aisles and hovering over the fresh produce without wearing a protective face covering. I am sorry, but with COVID-19 being a highly contagious and potentially deadly disease, the store needs to do better monitoring and keep such customers off the premises. Change your hours online to accurately show your true hours! It says 10pm closing time online and when I arrived I wasn't the only one frustrated by the incorrect hours listed online as many people were trying to enter after 9pm. read more

This is my favorite Publix, my home location. Sometimes I go 2 or 3 times a day since I'm forgetful at times haha. Everyone @ this location is so friendly. Most even know me by name. EVERYTIME I come they always ask me how I am and how my babies are! It's always clean and organized and prices are reasonable. All the produce is always in great condition and they're always stocked up even if the items are on sale! I'll always be back!! :) read more

This fairly new Publix, which is a about mile north of the intersection of CR 474 and US Hwy 27 way south of the Clermont area, is absolutely the best Publix store I've shopped at in all of Florida! Yes, it's new and still shiny, but the vast majority of personnel are helpful and genuinely friendly and the management appears to keep close tabs on how best to serve customers. The pharmacy also provides great service. While everything's not perfect (few places are,) we'll definitely keep coming back to this store unless things start to go downhill, which I certainly don't anticipate happening anytime soon. Oh, and if you want a great lunch -- stop at their full service deli! Quick service from VERY friendly and patient staff here who will make you exactly what you want. Reasonable prices, too! We're really glad we tried it when desperate for a quick meal the other day. We'll surely be back for more...and more...and more... :-D read more

We have lived near this publix for 5 yrs now and today 3/22 was the icing on the cake. We have learned to shop elsewhere over the years as they have the highest prices compared to EVERYWHERE else around us . On occasion we go for the fried chicken breasts and subs and today was no exception as we ordered three subs for $6.59 a piece. As shown in the pics I submitted there are absolutely no toppings and meats are minimal and for a special treat for my 11 year old she gets a PIECE of plastic to make up for the lack of toppings. Usually I have no serious problems with this Publix, but today was the worst experience Ive had in the deli dept. Typically My wife and I like the convenience of getting subs from the deli here, but after this I will never go back. It takes just one bad time to turn customers away for good and that was the case when I ordered two sandwiches at the deli. The guy that was suppose to serve me was too busy talking to other employees while at the same time checking out and talking to girls that walked by not once but twice and never really even acknowledged me accept when I ask for specific things on the sandwich. Because he was too busy looking elsewhere instead of focusing on the sandwiches, he almost ruined mine. He was incompetent, lazy, and too distracted on everything else to work that job or perhaps any for that matter. I also spoke to the assistant manager about this because I was furious. Bottom line is I will not be returning ever again. read more

Today at Publix was an experience to say the least. Let's start with the out of stock issues. Almost all of the Post cereal was cleared off the shelf. This was not a huge issue because I was able to receive a rain check on this item. The next item out of stock was a small 20 pack of the La Banderita tortillas brand in a particular brand that I personally think is the best brand out in the market. The second issue the STAFF! Most of stocking and resupplying staff was friendly but unknowledgeable about what was in stock and what was out of stock. Making my trip to the grocery store unpleasantly long. Customer service was more concerned about socializing and being unproductive. Customer service also could not remember what items were on sale for the week so when sale items ran out of stock they had to read the entire ad to find the item to issue rain checks taking more time to shop. After unloading groceries I decide to open the delicious buffalo dip I had bought from the deli only to find that the seal underneath the plastic container had not been sealed properly. That is pretty much all that happened during this trip to Publix. I will be trying the other three locations in the area and comparing experiences in the near future. read more

Expired food all the time. A couple of days ago my husband went to buy 7 items and 2 out of 7 were expired! Ham expired 1 month ago and an over the counter medicine expired 1 year ago! Someone's getting paid and not doing their job. read more
