I am a Instacart shopper and I go to many many of these stores, so I'm very very thankful for the employees at this store today. I'm constantly asking them where something is. Most stores are about the same, but items vary from store to store on where things are located and what aisles they are located in. So today I shopped this store for the first time and had a pleasant experience with all the help from the employees helping me reach items at the top and letting me know where things were .... kudos and a HUGE shout out to Miranda my bagger, that bagged three orders for me about 100 items and with two cards she helped me out help me put the groceries in my car and gave me a quick. Have a great day when I left. You are so much appreciated, Miranda, and all the other employees that helped me even the cashier I didn't get her name. Publix use to be my favorite place to shop but something has changed recently and Publix brand items I loved they no longer make plus their supply chain seems to be slipping on many things like their brand club soda and ginger ale. Their customer service is slipping. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

Publix is good. Sometimes they hit our BOGO stuff right and sometimes not. Their prices aren't the best for a lot of items which is why we stock up when our preferences are BOGO. I like the option of Publix but sure wish there were other options nearby. read more

It looks nice. Employees friendly. But god their deli suuuuuucks. Never have anything ready. Never have meatballs for meatball sub. Rarely have tenders ready. Went in with 3 possible sandwiches that I would've been cool with, couldn't make a single one. I'm like "okay can I just do jerk turkey then" Oh well sure but we have to cut it Alright But then we're out of our sauces. Also our spinach looks disgusting today, so don't get that (something an employee actually told me) Bakery doesn't get fresh bread out till noon. read more

3 year update. Still having the same issues. A manager asked an employee to take care of the hot case food, as I was standing there an said "oh my gosh seriously" as he was washing his hands. If you ask them if there's more of something more "fresh" it's always an attitude. If the food in the hot case was always fresh instead of looking old, the problem would be resolved. Not to mention, I'm always charged a different price depending on the employee. It's usually 5.49$ but if I get someone who's in a bad mood.. it's 6.99 or 7.99. I had to pull out one of my receipts at checkout just to show them I'm being overpriced. I'm officially done with this Publix. read more

Publix is a nice supermarket kind of like a southern wegmans if you're familiar with those. They have lots of nice looking prepared foods and a bakery sent from heaven above. Their heath bar cookies to to die for and I can't get them anywhere even close at home in Buffalo NY. I always buy a pack or two or three and freeze them to take home with me when visiting my family in Florida. This location is convenient and located on a central highway for easy access and within a large parking lot Plaza so there is plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and prices are good as well! read more

Just left the Clermont Publix right off of SR 50. Came in for a late night dinner(after traveling all day). Stephen, customer service staff, was helping out in the Deli and had a hand in making our sub for tonight. Even though we waited just a little longer to add avocado, Stephen made our time valuable and granted us a $5 gift card to use for our sub. We were in no rush at all and didn't mind waiting any extra, but Stephen's gesture was very nice and proves the superior customer service of Publix. He went above and beyond, and made us feel important! read more

(4/25/2017) We ordered a custom Strawberry and Peach Sensation sheet cake for an office party. Order was on time for pick up and cake was beautiful and delicious. Would be a go to place for fresh cakes, if you have time to schedule. Reminds me of the Chinese bakery style fruit and sponge cakes if you like that kind of thing (except with a light buttercream instead of whipped cream). Publix, in general, been around forever, or at least since I was growing up, and was always the "nice" grocery store. Prices are fine, a touch high, but you can get things on sale, and the produce has always been fresh and shiny. They've kept up with trends and updated as need, generally staying a little ahead of the curve. read more

This Publix is by far my most favorite Publix that I have ever been to. I work in the hospitality industry and have more days that not where I just want to be left alone, to be honest. I had a particularly horrible day about a month ago and I stopped in at this Publix on my way home. I asked the Deli if they still carried the Buccaneer sub (SO GOOD THOUGH, GUYS). The Deli manager explained that they no longer carried it; however, she would gather the ingredients to make it for me. I don't know if she knew that I was having a horrible day or if she was just being kind. I protested and stated that I would get something else as I didn't want to cause any trouble. She replied "no! you've already said you wanted it! i don't mind!" Absolutely made my day. As I was checking out, with my sub, a pint of my main men (Ben & Jerry), and a bottle of wine, a young man stopped stocking the shelves near the register and automatically started assisting me with putting my items on the belt. I thought that was such a kind gesture. I stopped by the Customer Service desk on my way out to give a shout out to these employees; I wish I remembered their names for this review! My mother was nice enough to pick me up a sub from the deli for lunch today while she did her shopping. When she got it home (not even an hour later) the sandwich was so soggy and wet, it had made the bag rip! Walked up to the Deli to order a sub. There were 4 people standing behaved by the counter and then poof ... everyone walked away and went into the back. Then one young man would say "someone will be right with you". Then another one of the women walked out with a soda and went away. One woman came up and helped in the hot food area but the young man said "someone will be right there". Solid 5 min looking at him. Then he says I'll take care of you "boss". What do you need " boss". Really and truly. How insulting to be called "boss " by this guy. Then Hey "boss" we don't have Boars head only Publix Again Just amazing. Someone needs to wake up the customer service manager and inform the Saturday 8 pm deli crew that customer service doesn't stop at 8. Took him 17 min to make a sub. And nobody around to help him. Ordered a sub that was "ready for pick up" at 12:30. At 12:50 (an hour after ordering) it still wasn't ready. Super annoying.

Sometimes I hear people complain about how publix is "way more expensive" then anywhere else. I personally feel like 20 cents more on an item is worth the service. Every representative goes so far out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Even the pharmacy. You truly do get what you pay for. Well worth the additional 20 cents. read more

Went in for a flu shot at 1:15 p.m. and I was told the wait was 1.5 hours. A pharmacy was currently administering shots to 2 ppl but otherwise there was not a line. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and was told no. I guess I just did not expect that wait time. read more

I LOVED this publix!!! I have a bad experience every single time I walk into my usual publix (citrus tower, clermont) so I decided to give this publix a try and it was better than I ever could have expected. The staff was ALL very friendly. the employees said hello, and offered to help you. Beware. They raise the prescription prices and treat you with an attitude in the pharmacy. The prices of my prescriptions went up considerably, I purchased what I could afford. Then went to Wallgreens to make a quick comparison. What was $200 at Publix, was $90 at Wallgreens (both generic, no insurance). I came back to Publix to return the items I bought. No return policy, which is OK, my mistake not to read the fine print (if there is anything printed). What really makes me uncomfortable is their attitude. Not only on this occasion, but normally. I guess they are under a lot of pressure and stressed out, but let's face it: Prescriptions take a long time to prepare, they act like are performing a favor to you, not a smile thank you or anything polite, no drive thru, and super high prices!
