Publix is clean. But, Publix, you can't pay more for less. I'm tired of the rotten fruit and vegetables. I'm tired of the soggy subs that takes 15 -20 minutes to make ONE sub! Publix do you Teach your employees to specifically put all the wet stuff directly On the bread? Do you teach them to take a 5 minute task and draw it out to 12 to 16 minutes? Last post I made here was accolades regarding the seasonal Prime Roast at $5.99 a pound on December 16 2022. I went yesterday December 22 2025 at $9.99 a pound. That is not why I am writing. The meat department is now a closed zone. You can not talk to anyone unless you bang on a window if you can lean over a freezer to reach. Worse part was seeing 4 other people waiting to get a chance to talk to someone. I even mentioned to the others after 5 minutes that the large guy was the manager with his back to us for a reason...experience. He knows he is not accountable to a customer if he can not see them and he has an excuse by saying he did not see them. Kevin or something like that. His picture is right there on the wall. I remember most of 40 years ago you had friendly conversation with a butcher there. . Then they put up the windows and had a button on a curved tube that had a plaque that said buzz for service. Now nothing. NOTHING. That is about as flagrant of an example of how they give a damn about you and I. I left the store with no meat this year. I started shopping here and knew I was paying more but I love the carts and service. But that has changed. If you think this store can not fail...then keep failing with service and you will certainly find out. read more

We continue to have poor customer service experiences here! The folks at the pharmacy are always rude and impatient Customer service works argued and gave us a hard time for a rain check item. We ultimately had to walk out and go somewhere else. read more

Whenever we come to visit my parents this is the supermarket we tend to visit to purchase our groceries and ancillary needs. The produce section is always brightly lit with excellent choices. The delicatessen is always stock great cold cut choices. All of the usual purchases we make at home are here so it is always helpful. In addition they have a wine and beer section which helps to make all purchases in one place. Staff is always very nice and helpful, usually with a smile on their face. read more

Let me start off by saying that I have been a loyal Publix customer since I moved to Florida in 1992! That's a long time. I am VERY disappointed! I was just informed by your deli manager that for some unknown, poorly thought out decision, Publix has decided to discontinue Publix brand Baked Potato Salad, Publix brand New York Style Potato Salad, and Publix brand Shredded Cole Slaw,(Not that nasty Sweet Cole Slaw! That stuff is disgusting!)! I have also been informed that Publix is currently promoting the Reese's Brand, which, if I actually wished to purchase can be found at Walmart. Why Publix is promoting that nasty tasting brand completely astounds me. I tried it once and only once and I will NEVER purchase it again! I am so upset that this is only my first message. I will continue to complain until you decide to resume carrying these products. I also plan on going on all of my social media platforms and waging war against this decision by Publix. Clean nice and convenient but about 30% more expensive than Walmart. However, vegetables and fruits are much higher quality than Walmart.

This is a large, well-stocked and very well-managed store. The meat, bakery, deli and produce departments are especially well-run. Today, I was shopping with my sister to restock the refrigerator before my Mom arrives tomorrow. The Deli Department features high quality deli meats and cheeses and excellent​, friendly service. Although we didn't but anything from the meat department, past experience suggests the butchers are well-trained and extremely customer oriented. Good Prices, Excellent, friendly service and a wide variety of food items in every category makes this Publix my "go-to" local grocer in Central Florida. read more

I am appalled at The customer service I received at Publix today. Let me elaborate. I am 50 and a woman. I went to the butchery and waited while a young man was showing a male customer 3 perfect Prime Ribs. After he was done, he asked if I needed help. I told him I would like a prime rib. He obviously knew what a prime rib was but steered me towards a $29 rib roast. Really?Then when I questioned him he was smug and had an attitude. The other butchers behind him heard what was going on and did nothing. In fact, when they finally brought out the one prime rib they supposedly had left (after showing the other guy three) I walked away and they started to laugh and make fun of me. Again, really? That behavior not only stinks of outright chauvinism, but is typical disrespect from that age group. Clearly there is a top down issue and lack of training. When I called to complain to customer service, the attitude was "well, what do you want?". Again, the young man who was the rep on the phone could care less that I was treated poorly. Do they not get that we have shopping choices? Wow. That age group gets it, they simply do not care. Unbelievably bad customer service. I will never be back to that store. The manager clearly should fire these ignorant kids and hire experienced, respectful staff! Does he not know that the demographic that store serves commands respect? Wow. read more

Id just like to say MIKE makes the best PubSubs around! I just got a sub from a different publix, It made me miss Mikes sub artistry skills. Mike should be paid to teach new sub artist how to make a proper sub. He made 5 subs for us in a timely manner. He made them so evenly every bite had the toppings I chose. Thoroughly unimpressed by this location. Just needed a few supplies, and I wanted to go anyplace but Walmart. Figured Publix would be a safe bet. I've never been here before as I live out of state, but I was shocked at the lack of selections. Frozen pizza for example. Only one type per brand to choose from. Same thing with just about every other food item on my list. Not a huge deal though overall. However, when I walked in, the store smelled HORRIBLE. Like a mix of burnt trash and feces. At first I thought it was just the entrance. I get it, stuff happens. But all throughout the store you could smell it. And it was STRONG. no idea what it was, but I didn't see any fans or anything to try and dissipate the smell. Checkout staff was friendly, but that's the only plus of the experience. Maybe I'll give Publix another try, but not if I'm searching for a variety of foods. read more

Had a Cuban premade with a store brand lemon for a quick lunch. It was obviously made fresh. The bread was soft, the meat and cheese were fresh and the pickle wasn't ruining the bread. I put a couple of mustard packets and had a lunch. The lemonade was pretty good too. The store as a whole was clean and the employees were friendly. read more

When I need a little classier Publix that the Minneola/Clermont one on 27, this is where I stop on the way home. They have a few things that the other store doesn't with a tad bit wealthier clientele nearby (notice the golf cart parking spots). If I could give 0 stars I would. I am once again absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism and maturity exhibited by the employees of this Publix. I never have these issues when I visit any other Publix, but each time I come to this location, I am reminded why I keep saying I will not visit anymore. Yesterday (3/30) was the last straw. I walked up to the deli, there was only one other customer in front of me, Darline was making sandwiches for online orders, after the other customer and I stood there for a few minutes she finally gets someone else to come over and make a sandwich for the person in front of me. Meanwhile, Darline finishes the online orders she was working on and instead of taking the 2 minutes it would have taken to make my sandwich, she goes on to start making another online order. The customer in front of me finished & I go up to order my sandwich. I asked why Darline could not have stopped to make my sandwich since I (and at this point there was another customer behind me) and the person behind me had been waiting a while. She begins to argue with me and complaining about how she has ALL OF THE THINGS to do. Then she walks away (and at this point so did the person who had taken my sandwich) to go and talk and laugh about me and what I had said, right in front of me to the "assistant deli manager," and as Darline is speaking her the "assistant deli manager" turns around, looks at us, and starts to laugh. After they were all finished with their conversation, Darline walks back over mumbling under her breath and laughing and the girl who was making my sandwich (who had rudely walked off in the middle of making it to go listen to Darline) returns as well. In the middle of all of this, she had left the bread for my sandwich sitting out because she was more interested in gossiping. I finally leave after another unpleasant experience and go to speak to a manager at customer service. I spoke with Cassandra and explained what had happened and she said she would follow up with Ron (the store manager). When I spoke to her, I did not realize this meant she was going to discuss what I had said with other associates who were not involved. This is not the first time something like this has happened, but this will be our last visit to this store. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and even just down right politeness that is displayed here is worse than anywhere I have shopped and makes for an unpleasant experience. read more

Very pleasant to talk to was very respectful when I asked him to cut a pork loin for me he suggested how thick to cut the chops and how much of the fat to trim and said he would have it ready for me in the morning. I've been shopping at Publix since I was 16 and now I'm 38 and since then they have been the best grocery store I've ever shopped at because of there service and politeness and how they remember you as a good customer. They have changed there stores over the years, but I've kept up with the people that stayed with the same store and that's King's Ridge, cause all the employee's know me and are very kind to me and talk to me nice and well and keep up with me when I need help. Also it used to be a good thing when I walked in the store and gentlemen greeted you with warm welcome. Another thing is that they sell grocery bags that handle good and hold a lot better than plastic. The other day I was having a bad day and when I went in it was like the employee's noticed, So they were being extra nice to me and it made me happy and feeling good again. So I really appreciate the people who work & shop at Publix, because they are always pleasant and kind. read more
