Terrible. I have shop here multiple times. When i get off work and come at 6pm they never have fried chicken available. A couple weeks ago the chicken that was available was fried hard and old. Today I got off work earlier and came in around 2pm and got chicken thighs and legs and the chicken was under cooked. If you buy chicken from here be aware you will need to continue cooking it at home if not you may get sick. My suggestions dont buy chicken at Lake Harris Publix. And I have complaint multiple times no changes... So sad!! See pictures below. read more

Pharmacy is so bad ! They sent V a product that was recall but when I got there, he said no that's not the one but that's not what they said on the email. It told me this one I bought it. It's a Pharmacy recall that the product was not good but refused to take it back so I put it on the counter and walked out. If Andrea is working in the deli, go to another store. Rude and slow and never smiles. She has been rude to my husband and I for years now. She always has since look on her face that is so unfriendly and does not represent the way Publix is supposed to be. If I go to the Lake Deaton store everyone is smiling at you and they greet you and thank you for coming in. Not this girl, you get slow nothing. Zero stars. read more

Publix has set the bar of what a supermarket could and should be here in sunny Florida and with there expansion into other states, they are setting the bar high of what your expectations of a supermarket should be. Publix has built its reputation on their insanely good customer service. Add to that, the great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals they offer weekly and we can never forget their deli, which offers their great subs (affectionately known as "Pub Subs"). Growing up in New Jersey, which is a state that makes some killer subs, I do find it hard to understand how a supermarket can offer some of the best subs in the Sunshine State, but Publix does make a great sub. This store is clean and well designed, as are all the Publix that I have been to. All in all,I would definitely recommend a visit here. read more

I wanted to give a shout-out to Eleonora in the deli and sub making section. She made sure to greet everyone who came to the counter to order and made great small talk with all the guests. gluing together turkey pieces to make it look like you are getting a nice big portion...shame on you! i spend the extra money on greenwise assuming i am getting a better organic product. that Transglutaminase (meat glue), is not organic...nor is it wanted by your customers! i realize they use this practice on cheap roasts and steaks, but to use it on turkey...really!?! i also have witnessed over my last few visits that certain customers are egg swapping...putting organic eggs in the cheaper egg cartons! you need to find a way to stop that. once again, i purchase organic products for a medical reason, and i feel like i am being cheated/poisoned by this practice. at first i thought they were swapping out broken eggs. but, they had 3-4 cartons open...cheap eggs and organic eggs...shuffling them around. read more

I order subs from Publics deli thru insta cart, I asked for pressed, not pressed, the meat was not deli meat, I could count the black olives on one side of sub (3). Very very little lettuce, the jalapeño peppers was not sliced it was as if they took a whole jalapeño and just tore it apart. I am very very disappointed in this order. read more

I am a woman of 81, the last few months I have cast on my right arm and left was also injured. I had to ask for help out because, even if I wasnt injured I still need help out with grocery items. I spoke to the manager at the time about this and she assured me she would take care of this. On saturday the 16th of Sept, I was in line to check out and managed to get 1 case of water on belt to check out, lady asked me to put it bank in cart as she could not lift it. , the girl that was bagging was worried about time she would get off work, no help out or even offer. I see nothing has changed , may take my shopping elsewhere. read more

Wow. I have been using Publix Pharmacy CONSISTENTLY for over 5 YEARS (yep not 5 days, 5 weeks, or 5 months, YEARS) and yet I was just told FIRST by the pharmacist Joe and THEN by Publix corporate to "go to CVS"!!! Yep Publix told me to go to their competitor rather than take care of a patient/customer of 5 YEARS. The pharmacist Joe KNEW he wasn't going to fill my prescription on June 29, 2021 which was a Tuesday but instead of informing me on a TUESDAY while I still had my medication (it was filled on 6/1/2021 so we are past the 30 days now) he waited until I called him and very rudely told me to go back to my old PUBLIX PHARMACY (yep also a Publix with computers than link up) on a Friday OF A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. SERIOUSLY!?! Knowing I was now OUT of my medication and that it could literally kill me not to have it, he told me he wasn't going to fill it, doesn't care if it's a problem, AND he has the FULL support of HIS manager, Kimberly (the corporate office gave me her name) not to fill it. I'm disabled (have been since birth) and don't drive so I can't drive 30 minutes away to my old house in Clermont (we just had a house built in Leesburg meaning I'm now a permanent resident of Leesburg) if I wanted it. He had DAYS to notify me but CHOSE not to, said he doesn't care, so now it's almost noon on FRIDAY of a HOLIDAY WEEKEND and I have NO OPTIONS thanks to him. Isn't your pharmacist supposed to fill your medications because it's what they are trained to do??? Only the pharmacist knows my medications and the way they interact with one another, and yet Joe told me he wasn't going to do it. He KNOWS his decision could/will kill me but said "I don't care"...do you really want to trust Publix with your healthcare!?! Knowing what the consequences could be he still told me to go to hell and just told my son the same thing. Funny thing, last night I spoke to the Customer Service manager, Gale, about a problem my husband was having in the deli and she IMMEDIATELY jumped in to help because "Publix doesn't say no to its customers" and that was just about food. This is the worst Publix Pharmacy I have ever dealt with and they made it very clear that I was nothing more than a number not a person in their eyes...great business practices. The introduction of the self check out has brought this location down from 4 stars to 1. Awful experience multiple times now with the self check out, it's such a terrible system that it requires an attendant (that could just be operating a regular register). Since the self check out was added, they never have the proper staff at the regular registers, so your options are a long wait, or a painful self check out. We'll be taking our $300/week to aldi or winn Dixie now. read more

I don't have anything negative to say about this store. The Publix at Palm Plaza is 1.5miles from my home and this store is 5 miles. I choose to shop at this store because of so many problems with the Palm Plaza store. This store is clean and larger and the shelves are kept stocked much more efficiently than the other Leesburg store. All staff that I have interacted with have been courteous and helpful. They also keep more registers open which Is very helpful. read more

The store is clean and staffed by employees that really want to make your shopping experience a great one. The deli is a busy place and you want to take a number. What ever you order in the meat & cheese area they give you a sample to try. You can order items on-line and have it ready to pick up. If you can not find an item, ask a clerk. They not only tell you where it is located, they walk you to it. read more

It's clean and very nice. employees are nice and greeted me. It's the closest grocery to my house and they always have good BOGO deals. My mom buys most of her groceries from here. It's right next to a Winn Dixie, and a Burger King was just built right next to it. It's close to Walgreens as well. read more

I frequent this Publix all the time since it's the closet grocery store to my house. What sucks for me is that this place is slow. Every time I go to the deli to get some cold cuts I end up waiting a long amount of time. If there is a line at the deli don't bother the employees move slow. The only good part about this Publix is that the bakery is great. The employees are great They always remember what I usually get and are very friendly Today I wanted some Black and White cookies and they didn't have any available so they made them for me right on the spot very quickly. The one other bad thing is when it comes to check out there is always a backed up line. The cashiers are way to slow. Two star rating would be better if the service wasn't always slow. read more

Our main supermarket and we love it. Bakery is exceptional, deli is great, wait time depends on day and time. Check out also depends on day and time AND cashier. We have learned who to avoid. A pleasant place to shop and convenient. We have tried other Publix's and still make this our main grocery shopping point. I have noticed each Publix assumes the character of its location, so get out and visit others. Publix bakery is always rated best choice in Orlando Sentinel food survey. read more
