I was impressed by how clean the store is, and their fresh vegetables are reasonably priced. Also, they seem to have weekly specials which you'll see posted on yellow signs. I'm the kind of person that when you open up my pantry, you will see a rainbow of beans in clear containers. I use all kinds of beans a lot in my cooking so you can imagine my delight in seeing that they had an entire aisle dedicated to beans, lentils, and all kinds of other grains, and very affordable! You will find mostly middle eastern items here. There was an entire section dedicated to tahini, and olives! So many different kinds of olives, it was very impressive. They also have prepared foods, and an area where you can order hot food/sandwiches. I plan to come back and update my review once I try out their hot food. In addition to selling a wide variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean grocery products, there is also an arcade, food hall, salon, and makeup vendor directly in front. So, it almost feels like you are in a self-contained mall rather than just a grocery store. My favorites so far are Kung Fu Tea, Paris Baguette, and of course the arcade. In fact, I have won several stuffed animals from the claw machines, which is of course very addicting. As far as the grocery portion is concerned, I love the variety of beverages and fresh produce. I wouldn't say the prices are better than your average chain store, but the variety of items is better. And to some extent I also think you are paying for the experience, which honestly is fine by me.

(You know what store I'm talking about... starts with an H) Fine, but my personal observation especially based on the visit I made last week is that even though the other market is being hyped up by social media; Lotte is still a better, and more affordable market. Granted, the food court choices at the other location are better, I'd still come to Lotte when I need specific asian ingredients. It seems they're aware that theres more competition and they've not only done renovations to the store but they have a lot more specials now than before. The day we went they even had several people promoting products and giving out samples. I don't recall them ever doing that before and I think that's a great idea to boost sales in items. I look forward to shopping here in the future.

It looks small from the outside but its pretty big on the inside especially when the extension is the produce seafood and meat are located. It is clean inside but there is a stench when you reach the produce meat and seafood aisle. The shelves and items are organized and neat and somewhat easy to find things in particular. The freezer section to em need to eb restocked since a few areas were almost empty with items. I was in a hunt for a small bottle of LKK Hoisin sauce and they offered smaller bottles for about $3 I think. They have reasonable prices on some items. And some are similar priced to other asian stores nearby. They do sell the viral fruit ice cream pops that come in those containers where it holds the popsicle stick. I was not interested in them so I passed them by. This store is not busy or crowded like Lotte or Enson. This place has a good variety of cute kawaii dishwares. I would come back here again but I prefer Lotte / Enson for more variety.

We went on a Sunday and the parking lot was packed so we had to circle to find a spot. Luckily, there seem to always be people coming AND going so it only took a few minutes. Freshfields Farm is split up into 3 distinct areas - the fresh meat store, the fresh produce store, and the ice cream (and hot dog) window. We decided to head to the meat entrance first. The area is not that big but it is just lots of selections of fresh meat, cheese and butter. The meats seemed to be pretty good prices, slightly below Publix where I normally shop. There was ground beef, turkey, steak, chicken and seafood. Plus some huge cuts of meat like picanha and ribs. If you are going to have a BBQ, this is the place to go. Also, workers were constantly bringing out new packages and some people were waiting for them. I picked up 2 pounds of ground beef and some boneless, skinless chicken breasts. The cashiers were nice and super quick. Then we headed outside and then next door to the produce section. Basically the same as the meat department but filled with produce. There were bins of fresh strawberries when we walked in as well as avocados, a whole section of bananas and plantains, rainbow carrots, and even full cacao pods! I'm guessing they just showcase fresh seasonal produce so for example, while there were fresh plums, I didn't see navel oranges. There was also a fridge case full of squeezed juices and lemonades. And a big section of various types of mushrooms. I got a package of sliced cantaloupe and a big pack of 30 eggs. We checked out the ice cream window, which looked super yummy but because we hadn't eaten lunch yet, we decided we'll come back another time to try it.
