I drink way too many of these
    John M.

Publix had become the leading supermarket in Florida and has since expanded throughout the southeastern United States. They became the leading supermarket by putting a strong emphasis on customer service. They bring the adage "the customer is always right" to new levels. Add to this fantastic BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and that alone makes for a winning combination. Add to this the iconic subs that they make in their deli (affectionately known as Pub Subs) and they become virtually unbeatable. These subs are pretty amazing. I usually go with their Italian sub or their roast beef. Both are excellent and I guess anything you would order at their deli counter would be a winner. I must say that I woukd definitely recommend this particular location or any Publix, for that matter. I choose to give it five stars for their steps in making sure a visit to a Publix is always a wonderful experience.

12/27/21 This is not your average supermarket. It's a convenient one stop shop. I found several unique amenities that are not offered in Maryland where I live. Several of the amenities include: -Florida MV Express, Instant Registration Renewal -Coin Conversion -Lottery Kiosks -Olive Bar -Wine -Delivery, Curbside Pickup, Publix.com Shop (Pick up Cubbies by front entrance) -Catering -Specialty Cheeses -Ingredients to Create Your Own Pizza -Einstein Bros Bagels -Grab & Go Meals -Hot Bar, Wing Bar -Create Your Own Family Meal, Save $3.00 when you bundle (Choice of oven-roasted chicken, 8-piece fried chicken, or 20 wings + two 16 oz. deli sides and a bag of 4 of King Hawaiian Buns) -Pharmacy (Flu Shots are available) A fun place maybe second best to Disney. Ok, just joking, but still fun to grocery shop here.

My favorite Publix hands down. You can count on this store to always provide an outstanding shopping experience, but the consistently SUPERIOR customer service provided by every single employee is what makes this this location stand out from the rest. And Publix Subs are the absolute BEST subs in Florida....corporate should consider opening a sandwich shop separate from the grocery store. Just me dreaming out loud. Get you Some!!

Bakery department is horrible! Anytime I get something from the bakery it's stale! Tonight I purchased donuts for my daughter and they are hard as a rock! This Publix bakery is no quality. DO. NOT RECOMMEND.

You can never go wrong with a publix. I do however like how much bigger this publux feels compared to my usual Hunt Club Publix. Im not sure if it is different lighting or a smarter layout . But the isles feel wide, bright and spacious. This particular location was so clean and organized. Service like usual is always great. Make sure and check the weekly deals in store as well as in the deli area. The BOGOs are always nice and a good way to stock up.

Adore this Publix! I know, I know, you are thinking: "Publix are all the same" but I would have to disagree! This Publix is the closest one to my apt but that doesn't mean I don't have other options. However, when I am looking for a friendly staff, clean and fully stocked shopping pleasure... this is my go to! The deli counter here is always helpful! Some Publix locations lack the attention this location gives to customer service. They always listen to my request of slicing my lunch meats thin, even though I know it's annoying for them because it take longer but they always do it here without question. I have actually had other locations say... like paper thin? Are you sure? Listen... if you show me a slice and I say thinner... why are you asking if I am sure? If you didn't want my opinion or want to know how I want it... then why ask? Also, everyone cleaning or stocking throughout this location are always saying hi and asking if I need assistance. Yesterday I even got a personal thank you from the manager as I was on my way out, that was a nice touch! This Publix really stands out to me!

If you like Reuben, then their sandwiches are really good! The beef dip one was also super good! It includes a French onion soup dip that you can dip the sandwich into. The sandwich is a bit soggy from all the moisture from the beef and French onion soup, but if you're okay with that, you should be able to enjoy it like I did! The banana dream cake was super good too. Got it to go since the food was very filling but we wanted to try a cake. It wasn't too sweet and the small chocolate chips is a good combo with the banana.

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
