This is my favorite Publix in absolute must for birthday cakes! The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. They go an extra miles to make sure you're accommodated..

Double meat Pub sub!
Mark P.

Who doesn't love a Pub sub with double meat for the win?! Was in just for that while working in the area and they delivered exceptionally. This is one of your nicer Publixes with a whole lot more on offer than the one near me in Mills50. Sure wish it was here when I lived in the area. Used to have to drive out to Kissimmee or Winter Garden back in the day before the area's first Publix went in up the street on Sandlake.

Publix Aprons Cooking School is gone
Erin G.

When this Publix opened it was advertised as one of their flagship stores. It has a lot of shelf space and featured a cooking school, which sadly is now kaput. On a recent visit I noticed major renovations are underway and some departments have been scaled back. Gone: -Aprons Cooking school -Extended premium cookware and tools adjacent to the cooking school -Ice cream and dessert bar -Olive bar -Hot food bar Reduced selection: -The gourmet cheese selection is greatly reduced -Beer section has no craft beer. Wine section seems unchanged. While some areas such as craft beer and the hot bar could return after renovations, most other service and selection remain unchanged. You can always try the Publix across the street on Sand Lake. I have not noticed classes scheduled for some time but I always had fun evenings at the cooking school. I for one am hoping for a 'Pours' which is Publix's version of a coffee, smoothie, beer and wine bar.

Philly steak sub
Delores B.

My daughter recommended trying Publix for a cheesesteak sub. I was a little doubting since I didn't know how they would make it hot. It turned out great. Chrisla did an awesome job and I had her make it without any direction other than the ingredients I wanted. I loved the way the roast beef was sliced fresh before it was all made. Got it to go and it was still warm when I got it home. Thanks Publix for a great experience.

KUDOS, and thank you so much to Vanessa for excellent customer service in the bakery department! She is super friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable! She helped me choose what turned out to be the best frosted sliced lemon cake for our group at church! The bakery department is so clean and organized! Vanessa is such an asset to Publix!

This is our favorite Publix - there is one slightly closer to us but everything you need is here in this shopping center! The stores always stocked, clean, and staff friendly. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO SHANNON IN THE SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT - he has been amazing for many many years. We always ask him what we should get and never once been steered wrong! The deli department makes the best buffalo chicken sub you will EVER eat!! No complaints! Great store!

We stopped here after dinner to pick up a few essentials. Store was super clean and organized. We were able to quickly find what we came for. Cashier was super friendly and thankfully warned us that the conveyor belt was dirty before we placed our items down. It seems like there is a Publix on every block in Orlando, and this one seems to be doing a good job of keeping customers happy and coming back!

If that was the case each time, I'd bring the toppings myself since they hold up a line or question management how to make it, read their paper, etc. When we went to the Publix by Lake Eola, the worker who prepared my sub was much quicker and efficient. Vegan cheese, the meatless deli slices, etc. and it came out fantastic. We also arrived near closing and they gave us excellent service. My family ordered their own sandwiches and enjoyed them, but I usually expect difficulty when it comes to placing my vegan sandwich order. This Publix was different and I appreciate how hip they are with the times. They knew what vegan meant, they knew which sandwich I was referring to (Meatless Turkey Club). Even if not everyone orders the sandwich, why advertise it / have on the menu if your workers aren't going to keep the ingredients ready? Well done Publix by Lake Eola! I had to save down your store number and write a passionate review on Yelp of your great care on my simple plant-based sandwich.

It worked, because I purchased several bags, but packing them was a ^%$%#$ because it took up so much space! Lesson learned, do not buy popcorn as gifts. We did have a bit of trouble finding cooking oils, and after asking some associates, one lead me to cookies, while another bluntly took told me the correct aisle. At least the store looked pretty clean and organized. We didn't go to the the other sessions than the groceries, so didn't see much of toys, electronics, fashion, or other items. We got so lucky to find a checkout counter with an attendant immediately. She acted nonchalant, but still polite enough. They didn't check our receipts after leaving, so we were able to get out without issues. As mentioned, this store mostly cater to tourists. Since it is open from 6AM to 11PM most of the time, it's a quick way to get any items missed or needed. For locals like me, it's pretty packed and can get a bit uncomfortable. At least the place is pretty clean and has cheap goods. Service could be a bit better though. Thus, overall I give it a C+

I say so because it reflects the reality of this store...a TRUE exception to the brand. The store is somewhat well organized with wide, clean aisles and well marked departments. I didn't bother too much with bakery or deli, but they seemed adequate enough, albeit with minimal variety. There are two sets of shorter aisles in lieu of one set of very long aisles. A third longitudinal aisle bisects the place all the way across making for shorter trips on more aisles rather than nearly as many in the longer aisles one generally finds in grocery stores around here. There's a more pronounced selection of ethnic and international stuff than what I normally see at W-D. There's even a good sized kosher section full of overpriced (but theologically correct) groceries. It is apparent that the store caters to the vast multitudes staying in all the resort properties around here whilst blowing their budgets of bucks, Euros, Pesos, Rials, Rupees, Rubles, Yen, Yuans or Pounds Sterling on ridiculously rich rodents or wondrously wealthy whales. That said, I did enjoy my trek thru here and thumbing my nose at the granddaddy grocer in the green getup from the sunshine state. Cashiers seemed friendly too, as is not always the case with W-D. The store, as alluded to earlier, is very clean, quite big and totally un-Winn-Dixie-like. If you're also coming to spend time in the shadows of these theme parks and prefer to do your own cooking, etc. then this is a good alternative!

This Publix is exactly what you'd expect from this beloved Florida chain. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, if a little dingy and worn down on the outside. The aisles are spacious, the shelves are well-stocked, and it's simple to find both everyday essentials and specialty items. Their produce and bakery sections are great here, with colorful and appealing fresh fruits and veggies and a large bakery that has a decent selection of breads, cakes, cookies, and pies. There's a nice prepared foods section too, which is great if you want a quick and healthier meal in your hotel room without having to cook. This location isn't fancy, but it carries a ton of different brands. As with all Publix supermarkets, the prices are on the higher side. This isn't the store to shop if you're looking for a bargain. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.
