This Walmart is not great. Recently, we celebrated my nieces birthday and it was troll's themed. I noticed that Walmart had troll themed birthday cakes, and ordered her a super cute pull apart cupcake cake the Tuesday before her Saturday birthday. The day before her birthday, I get a call from the bakery cancelling my order because their printer is broken. While I understand things happen, I am not sure why they waited until the day before to let me know. This put me in a bad spot, as most places do not take custom cake orders 24 hours in advance. When I asked the woman who called me if there was another walmart nearby who could do it, her reply was just "we can't do it, you can call other locations." I was disappointed in the lack of customer service for an issue that they created especially since it was related to such a special day. In the future, if customer orders have to be cancelled there should be more advanced notice and some sort of offer for an alternative solution. read more

Beautiful store super clean organised and the employees are very welcoming and nice. I went in to buy ear buds for my iPhone and also cat food. I have four cats but now two more cats have joined the outdoor clan . I am buying more can food than I want to but when I look at them they are hanging out in my patio like guards . These two new boys I'm going to have to trap them and get them fixed . A couple of years ago I trapped 15 feral cats and had all fixed . Thank God the food at wall mart is cheap. I come here because their prices are low vs other stores where their prices are a bit higher! It's as if the entire staff was hired for their ability to be rude and disrespectful to the customer with absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. None of the employees actually wanted to be there or help you god forbid you to ask a question. The attitude throughout the store is very unprofessional. I was met with EMPLOYEES SHOPPING FOR ONLINE CUSTOMERS THAT DID NOT GIVE A CARE IF THEY RAN YOU OVER WITH THEIR CARTS "IT IS GET OUT THE WAY ATTITUDE". Let's not leave out the eye-rolls and sighs that made me feel like I was bothering them by being a customer there. Their employees seem to dislike their jobs including management. The same as another Walmart I had been to before this one. No space to walk with your shopping cart because all the carts are blocking the aisle and they are not moving for you sadly you the customer is the one to have to move out of the way. I kind of don't want to write this review because I actually really enjoy going to this Walmart. It's never packed. It's extremely organized. Employees are genuinely kind and it doesn't feel like you're maneuvering a labyrinth with clusters of people and disaster. Admittedly in typical fashion of this store, there are plenty of items they're out of. Nevertheless, the overall experience is a good one and it beats going to the one on Pines Boulevard where your patience is tested time and time again. If you go to this one, take note that it's a bit hidden. It's next to Sam's Club. This in itself might be why it's actually peaceful shopping here. At any rate, now you know and now I'm praying that I did the right thing in writing this. I don't want this Walmart to become like every other one. read more

Walmart has failed in a big way in customer resolution. About a month ago, I placed an online order like I normally do. The order was placed and immediately canceled for the "return violation" reason. I didn't understand what that meant so I contacted Walmart. The Walmart representative assured me that she will fixed my account so I can place my order after 24 hours. I followed her instruction but my order was canceled once again. I called Walmart again the 2nd time. The representative said she will escalate the issue to the review team so I should be able to order after 24 hours. You guess it, my order was canceled again for the 3rd time. Fast forward 5 weeks later, now it's my 5th time contacting Walmart and I still can't place my online order. Walmart is always a great place to pick up any item you need. They have the kids snacks, the kids clothes, they have inexpensive candy I love, they have my favorite Chimichangas (even though they moved them around to a place up high...smh) and all other things. This is my local Walmart and the bathrooms aren't always too up to par and as always they need to replace their buggy cart wheels as people are always scrambling to find one where the wheels actually work. I think this has to be the only Walmart that I have ever stepped foot in that isn't busy whenever I come in. Now I am not sure if that was just for this weekend but since Friday I have been here about 4 times and each time (different times of the day) I have been able to come in, get what I need and immediately walk right up to the cashier. That in itself deserves 5 stars. Customer service is customer service and it's honestly a hit and miss. This morning I came across a nice young lady that greeted me with a smile and interacted with my son. I was not afforded this same treatment the other times but that's ok. Overall each time was a good visit. I will definitely be frequenting this location more often as I have recently moved. read more

This walmart is terrible! They were turning away tons of people before the store is scheduled to close. Holiday hours is what one of the associate stated. I spoke to customer service on the phone and i was told that on Wednesday 22nd of November doesn't have holiday hours and they should remain open until 11pm. This walmart did not care and still told everyone that they were closed and that the registers are closed all while customers were being rang up. read more

I go to take care of another matter and my card was declined!!!! Walmart took out the $98.00!!! Right then and there!!! Then, I had to wait over 20 minutes to "get approval to refund the $98.00! It takes 3-5 business days to get that money back in my account, meanwhile, Walmart wiped out my bank account by just taking my money!!! I canceled my $119.00 order, of course and have to wait 3-5 business days for that, too! Before COVID-19, I ordered and had many items delivered for FREE from Walmart! I can't always carry groceries, so I have heavier items delivered; FOR YEARS!!! Now, COVID-19, is a get rich quick scheme for many people and companies. Horrible! Still, what is worse, is, it is not empathetically clear, that if you want to try the unlimited delivery for Free; Walmart is going to charge you for a years membership, immediately!!!!! Amazon doesn't do this, nor does other grocery/merchandise stores. No one has to be victimized by Walmart's sneaky scheme to rip off customers. Let me spare you the trouble of coming here, which I wish someone else had done for me on Yelp: this is NOT a Wal-Mart, it IS a Sam's Club though, so if you're not planning to buy in bulk, don't come here or you'll be wasting your time. You're welcome. I cannot reiterate enough the fact that this is a ghetto place and I have been to rough Wal-Marts, like the one in Miami Gardens, at 1 a.m.. The people here are straight out trash. I had to deal with a girl stalking me for money for cheerleading who would not take a "sorry, I do not have cash" for an answer and started talking back to me as if it's my fault I have no cash and her parents won't fund her cheerleading trip (ever heard of fundraisers, sweetie?), no staff inside the store to ask about the location of merchandise, and once I found the a/c filters I was seeking, I saw they only sold them in bulk. I only wanted 1 filter, not 4. Abort mission. To top things off, I was almost run over by a man in the parking lot who then decides to park next to me and have his wife grab a cart from the median across from my car and scratch up my car's mirror in the process, WHILE I AM SITTING INSIDE plugging my phone to charge! I confronted her, as my temper was already getting the best of me at this point, rolled down my window and said "Did you just scratch my car?" She said "NNnnooo" (I obviously knew she was lying by the way she hesitated and looked at the floor), and just stood there and told me to move my car as I came out and checked the damage. No apology was ever offered, and all she could say is "move yo car" while her family tsk'ed me and shook their heads as if I did something wrong, even though she damaged my car. I don't know, I guess I am uncommonly polite because I'd be apologizing up and down for at least 5 minutes if I scratched someone's car and my folks would be shaking their heads at ME for being careless, not the other way around! I am just glad I was there to stop her, or I may have come back to a scratched mirror, scratched driver's door, and a scratched bumper, making my trip there even more of a hellish nightmare. Luckily, a dinner stop at Bamboo Fire quenched my hunger and improved my mood but if I'm ever in this area of Broward, I will forgo my trip to Wal-Mart rather than repeat this awful experience. read more

Yes. This location is known as the "ghetto" wal-mart. When it's raining, don't even expect to find a shopping cart as they are ALL outside in the parking lot getting drenched. I would avoid this place, but I can't. This is the closest location to my house and have no choice. Well, not really... I could make the drive out to silver lakes, but pines blvd is always packed with traffic and I REALLY rather not drive thru it to get to wal-mart. This place has been under construction for I don't even know how long, in preparation for the soon to come "Supercenter." Everything is a mess. Aisles have been re-arranged. Like any other Walmart, it is best to go early hours (4am) or in the first part of the morning. So I don't have to run into problems with rude customers or employees. The cashiers feel they are above their job. You may find two out of the many employees to be helpful and pleasant. Some are so lazy and will act like they are invisible. Also I once had money stolen from me ( til this day I don't know how they did it and when I claimed it they said I would have to speak to someone else.) you all have been warned, there are some crooked cashiers at this Walmart and perhaps all the others. *sighs* Now I've been shopping at this Walmart for quite some time and usually I just go in there to get what I need and leave. But just the other day I decided to actually pay attention to the employees and the hygiene of this store. First of all, the cosmetics section is messy most of the time and I was at my wits end with messiness. This Walmart was just remodeled so it does look nice, but the employees are rude. No "you're welcome" when you "say thank you" and no eye contact when you ask a question. I called customer service to ask a simple question and the lady barely spoke English (Ebonics) she also didn't say her name and "Hello,this is Walmart how may I help you? She answered the phone as if I was calling her cell phone. This person didn't even send me to the manager when I requested that. I was put on hold until I finally hung up and wrote a lovely letter to corporate. Walmart is Walmart but human decency and respect should be instilled. I would have given this walmart a 5 five star rating if I was not over charged 50 cent for my cupcake liners, I over looked this because of the friendly and helpful employees I ask for help. One lady walked me to just about every product I needed which wasn't much but she stop what she was doing to make sure I found what I was looking for. This walmart is terribly dirty and ill equipped to resolve the needs of the customer. I was helped by a competent co manager today but they seem to be often handicapped by the system as they try to resolve customer service issues. The over used phrase here is "sorry i cant help you". I was very underwhelmed by the general sense of apathy that seems to be the employee culture here. The co-manager that helped me was the only shining light in the dark hole of despair.
