    Key Food Fresh
    Jo H.

I found it strange when I couldn't check-in on Yelp, but then I realized why after I made my purchase and looked at the receipt. The supermarket was no longer Bravo, it's named Key Food Fresh now. The layout of the supermarket is still the same...clean organized aisles, a large variety of American, Hispanic, and Caribbean items at reasonable prices, fresh selections at the meat and seafood department, fresh fruits & vegetables, and an area where you can get cooked latin dishes. Despite the name change, I still like coming here.

Who sells 5 eggs at full price?

Be careful when parking because a lot of the customers will hit your car and keep it moving or intentionally attempt to get into an accident. A guy was backing up at full speed then had the nerves to continue (instead of hauling) when the right in the right of way was moving forward. He didn't care. Seemed like he was looking for a an insurance claim. I purchased groceries here and when I got home I was surprised to see that my 1/2 dozen carton of eggs were actually 5. Like who sells 5 eggs? Also, I purchased food from the deli and the veggies were grainy as if they had dirt in them and wasn't washed properly. I asked for a lunch chicken meal and was charged for dinner. The color of the chicken (meal) looked questionable. Be careful when buying habanero peppers in the pack because they're mixed with peppers that have mold in them. You get what you pay for. I rather shop elsewhere because the price I paid for groceries weren't cheap. I rather pay for fresh produce.

Lots of Latin items here- way more than at Publix. Peruvian, Argentinian, Ecuadorian, Colombian, Venezuelan, you name it! Hot food bar too.

From the first Brooklyn location they expanded to New Jersey, throughout New York, and across the northeast. It has since grown into a major international grocery chain specializing in Eastern European, Russian, and Eurasian goods with over 45,000 products. I recently had the opportunity to visit this NetCost Market in the Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood, Florida. If you join the free NetCost market Club you can unlock special deals and discounts. I was impressed with how bright and spotless this store is. Everywhere I looked there was someone cleaning, sweeping, and straightening. NetCost has the typical pantry staples you would expect to find but I was drawn to the colorful produce section with unexpected finds like mandarin oranges wit the stems and leaves for $2.49 a pound and dainty little lady apples for $3.99 a pound. Throughout the store their dumpling fest was being advertised for $3.49 a pound. The bakery and hot prepared foods department looked enticing, especially the cabbage rolls. It was nice to see some many foods from my Polish ancestry represented. In the front of the store is a coffee shop with a seating area and more delectable pastries for sale. I love exploring world markets and this was one of the cleanest and nicest I have come across. If I lived local i would be a regular shopper, especially on nights when I don't feel like cooking dinner. The Hollywood community is lucky to have such a great food shopping resource.

Since I was in the area, I only came here to see if they had a particular brand of bug spray in stock. As I entered through the garden section, I asked a male employee who was standing by the door if the bug spray was in this area. He shook his head no. I assumed he didn't understand what I was asking for. It didn't matter, I spotted some Raid on the shelf near the pottery. I eventually found the brand I looking for which was on clearance. I also was able to find a courteous male associate to price check the item (after a female associate said she couldn't do one) just to make sure it rang up at the listed price. It was accurate. Was out of that store in minutes. I'm not sure when I will return. Decent customer service was a bit difficult to get at this location.

Yes, there are some times you can go where lines aren't as bad but the parking is terrible although better than North Miami. Hard to find a spot and usually carts left in parking lot and no carts in store. The lines aren't very long, I've been here before, with 2-3 registers open and a line nearly half way back through the store so appear to have staffing issues. As of recently, it also seems like there's a whole section of women's clothing missing. I came across sportswear, bathing suits, and plus sized but maybe that's all Walmarts as it's maybe a biannual trip for me. I'd say it's worth a trip here over the mess and crowd in north Miami but also worth driving further west to go if you need to.
