While it should be noted that some products are more pricey than the standard grocery store, I have no problem paying a little extra for better quality. Whether you're looking for great cuts of meat, delicious burgers, fresh seafood or ripe fruits & vegetables then this is the place for you. Maybe not all locations are the same but this one is & has always been consistent. Even their bakery section is on point with serving freshly prepared items & keeping the display cases filled with all sorts of treats. I love their croissants, they're just the right amount of flakey & have a slight butteriness to them. Being a huge coffee fan, I turn to FM almost exclusively to restock nowadays. Every time I walk to the coffee section I love seeing the rows of barrels filled with beans. They carry both non-flavored & flavored while offering at least 10 of each to choose from. There's also a handful of decaf selections. I find joy in looking through the options, smelling the differences & being able to grind it up right there; doesn't get much fresher than that. It's also cool that you can get as little or as much as you want & it's super cheap. The employees are helpful & friendly. It's nice that the store is kept tidy & you'll see them actively cleaning. That's including 4lbs of chicken, 2lbs of pork and 2lbs of ground beef. Now here's the downside, coming here on a weekend is INSANE. Coming early in the morning or during the week is best. I made my way to checkout and they had all the cashiers taking care of customers and 4 self-checkouts that were with no clients and all were working That was where I went due to the lines being too long it was a very busy day for them. FYI: Aldi charges 10 cents per shopping bag. They tell you about their effort to protect the environment. They also have a long area stretched in the front of the stores, where you can utilize the space to pack your groceries in your bags. Sadly, alot of the Publix stores leave their veggies and fruits a couple days too long on the shelves and they get dented and start browning and they only last a few days in my fridge. This was my first shopping expedition at this Publix. I found all the items for my dinner except the cajun seasoning was too high so had to shop at a different Publix for that only item. The veggies were colorfully vibrant and fresh specifically the big red peppers. In addition, the two salad bags were crisp without visible browning. A produce employee was so polite and directed me to the red peppers. I commended the produce manager, Michael, who was stocking foods, on the great condition of the produce. He said he frequently ditches the older veggies and fruits including the salad bags. Im gonna have to travel to this Publix for their produce in the near future.
