Wow, There is so much to love about this place. First of all, it's much larger than the Kimchi Mart in Pembroke Pines. It has much more selection and the store is not cramped. I was searching for the glass noodles that I really like. I need up getting some cooked white clams and some seafood salad as well. The noodles were delicious as always with lots of wood ear mushrooms, onions and red bell pepper mixed in with the glass noodles. The sauce was super strong this time and I didn't dare heat this up at work. The crab salad was off the charts. I could easily be addicted to this stuff. The crab is finely shredded and mixed with spicy mayo. The result is amazing! The clams were good and a nice addition to my lunch. I have never seen cooked clams at a market before but it was fun trying something new. I would get them again in the future. They were really affordable. Since they were already cooked, that meant no mess in the kitchen for me. I bought a huge Fugi apple before leaving and it was the size of two regular apples. It was super crispy and sweet. I will be picking up more of these apples along with more crab salad and a bag of my favorite short grain brown rice when I return. All I have to say is I freaking love Kimchi Mart!!! I usually shop at the smaller location in Pembroke Pines because that is closer to me. This Hollywood location opened in January 2022 and it's massive. I've been here a few times and love taking my time just walking around to see what I might need or want. Lol. Everything here is bigger, cleaner, super organized, and many more selections. I noticed this location sells the Sun Noodle Seafood Tonkotsu Dipping Ramen. I was stoked to find it today. I bought 4 to stock up. This is my daughter's favorite noodle. They use to sell this at the Pembroke location but noticed they haven't had it all year. If the owner sees this, please bring this product back to the Pembroke location. Please and thank you. If you're ever in the area, swing by and check out this Kimchi Mart location, it's about 3 times bigger than the Pembroke one! No joke. I just discovered Kimchi Market and i loved it! A fellow yelper recommended it, highlighting the fresh sushi, and wow, what a great recommendation! As you walk in, theres plenty of interesting skin care products, followed by the produce section- wide varieties of spicy peppers, mushrooms, bockchoy, and many other veggies. I purchased jalapeños. I went straight to the boba tea bar- i got a honey dew-melon boba- delicious! I purchased 4 different types of ice cream- 2 pictured, a fish cookie filled with ice cream (fave), and pineapple boba tea ice cream bar.. they have a sushi chef on-site, all sushi packages are labeled w the date, my favorite were the spring rolls, i was absolutely impressed with portion size, freshness, and price! Very affordable.. i wonder if you can order a sushi-party tray?! Would be amazing! I recommend it if you like cooking, and exploring different international products. I am addicted to k-dramas so I wanted to try some of the Korean/Asian foods I saw in the movies. This shop is amazing and fun. A lot of the packages have an English translation because they are made for export. On my first trip, I spent $200 and $100 on my next 2 visits. They have all kinds of packaged foods that I can prepare in one pot - even though I don't know what I am eating! LOL I am so addicted to wasabi seaweed now. This Kimchi Mart is located in Hollywood and is the biggest one of the yet! Located near the train tracks, parking is easy in the lot it's located in, next to the Goodwill. They have several locations- one in Miami, one in Pembroke Pines, and I saw a newer one opening up in Coral Springs. This Korean-style market is a great addition to the area with a lot of Asian-style grocery items as well as some food you can pick up to-go to grab & eat. It's pretty big and very clean with separated sections to make it easy for shopping. It's easy to come in here and find your staple items but also fun to shop around and try something new with every visit. read more

Wish there was a way to sample the snack somehow ,since I am not familiar with any of them, being that I am not Asian. We received great service at this Kimchi Mart location. Their variety of Asian goods is large and that's what we were looking for. You can find a variety of items for great prices , compare them to your local grocery store and find that they are better at Kimchi. The environment is nice and relax. I liked this store, but it's not the first time when I'm being cheated by this store, I'm always buying a lot of groceries and I don't usually have time to check bills, I'm just paying with phone and that's it, but when look at the check at home it's always something more than I bought, for example I bought 1pcs of ramyon, but in check they did it 4pk, also I bought 2 pcs of different ramyon and they did it 3pcs on check, not very nice from you guys, I think I'm gonna change the store for groceries, cause I had enough and I don't like when people trying to cheat on me especially about money. I love this market so much! Every time I come here they have new items! I am so happy to find out that they have a whole new section of beauty products, and they are all Korean! I don't know if you have heard, but Korean skincare is supposed to be the best in the world, and the prices are super affordable! I'm never going back to Sephora for my Korean skincare products again!!! The staff is not all Asian so a lot of times they won't be able to tell you what some of the stuff mean, but they are very friendly regardless! The market is huge with plenty of isles and lots of good deals. They have vegetables, frozen meats, the best drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic!) but my favorite one is the bobba tea! They have a counter in back of the market where you can order a freshly made bobba tea if you don't want to buy own that's already premade. This market is not like your typical Asian market, it smells good, is very clean and I always feel super welcome when I'm here! Highly recommend it! read more

With the help of Yelp! App, we were able to find another Asian supermarket in my neighborhood. This place is pretty to find, right on the corner of Sheridan and Dixie Hwy. Walking through the entrance, my first impression is that this place is clean and organized. Starting from the produce section to the freezer, the isles are wide, the floor is clean and the whole place is well-lited, making it nice and easy to find what you are looking for. It's an Asian supermarket but they carry mostly Korean brands. I don't read Korean so I can only tell what I am purchasing by looking at the pictures in the package. But we were able to find most items on our list. If I have anything negative to say about this place is a little pricey. But the items looked pretty good so I guess you pay for what you are getting. read more

Nice size market, but I was surprised that their variety was so limited. They didn't have a certain noodle I was looking for, no lemongrass paste or spinach, no "Arroy D" brand soups, and limited boba tea powders. We ordered "milkshakes" from the boba bar inside the store; it was super thin & watery. I took it back and asked the guy to remake it, he did with no problem- BUT he just added more ice- so it was icy instead of frothy, and it had even less flavor. No need to return. read more

This place makes me happy. Just like their sign says, they are certainly a clean grocery store with a huge variety of Asian products, obviously Korean ones being the most prevalent. Their produce is fresh, which is a treat since some other markets may have older produce sitting around from not being sold frequently. Not to mention they're very affordable! I've gone to get ingredients to make Korean, generally Asian, dishes and have been able to get all the mushrooms, leafy greens like Chinese greens and wrap lettuce, green onions, chives, eggplants and daikon radishes that I need to do so. I did a whole veggie and tofu haul during my last visit there and my bill was less than $14. My favorite aspect is that they sell loose bean sprouts so you can bag just the amount that you want to buy, instead of having to commit to a giant bag that will go bad very quickly. The pantry aisles are well organized also. You should be able to find a specific seasoning, sauce, dried ingredient like kelp or noodles easily since they're grouped together. The staff are occasionally around and can help if you can't find it. I had no trouble finding gochugaru (red pepper) to make kimchi, mainly because of the grouping of same and similar items. They have an aisle dedicated to drinks like melon cream soda, milk tea, sake and soju, as well as one dedicated to Korean and Japanese snacks. Yes please and thank you. I appreciate that they have a banchan section with store made side dishes to accompany a meal with rice. They also have their own kimchi lined up next to factory made kimchi in the designated refrigerated case. Speaking of refrigerated cases, there are tons of them. There is a lot of aisle space in between the cases, so it's very easy to peruse and find something you didn't know they had, like udon noodle soup packs or toppogi sets. I for one love that they have shirataki and konnyaku (yam noodles and cakes that are low carb) in stock and in different sized packing because the other stores I've been to have been sold out! They have a huge inventory of frozen meats, seafood and ready made food in stand alone freezers and wall freezers. There's a good chance you'll find something you wanted or want to try and end up loving! read more

At first, I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the store. I also found it pretty well stocked with a nice variety of SKUs and the prices to be fair. However, the produce I purchased (spinach, zucchini, and tomatoes) had poor flavor and texture, and the ready-made poke bowl I picked up ended up being mostly rice and made my stomach churn a bit (I didn't get sick or anything like that). This is their third location. I've only been to the Pembroke pines one. This one is bigger than it i feel. They sell a lot of Korean brands, some kitchen items, produce, meat and a lot of noodles. I found that the prices here are a couple dollars more compared to other asian grocery stores. But maybe in time, if more people come to shop, the prices will decrease. They also have a variety of in house kimchi. Next to it, there is a boba stand and a to go stand. Again, prices are a bit higher than what I've seen. I'm guessing it's because they just opened. I would have liked to see prices lower for the grab and go food especially. Although the boba place had a Yelp site, the grab and go food did not. I believe it's because it is changing names or owners? Where I'm from, a lot of asian grocery stores have grab and go food at a discounted price. Most of the time, people grab it for lunch during work or a quick meal to pass by. Very convenient and ready to eat. I was happy to see kimchi mart was giving it a go. The last time I was at the Pembroke pines, they didn't have boba or grab and go food. I tried: The Korean fried chicken came with daikon cubes for $8 for 8 pieces it was supposed to be sweet and sour It was nice and not spicy at all. Maybe it was aimed toward American palette. It tasted like sweet and sour sauce to me. Which is okay, but I personally wouldn't have minded spice. Maybe have the spice on the side? The daikon was nice and fresh. Perfect crunchy bite to it. I also had the corn salad It was a bit watery, on the acidic side but tasted good. It looked like it had red and green bell pepper which added a bit of flavor. I paid for both at the stand I also had the pork bulgogi $9.99, this was not associated with that food stand. This I had to buy from the grocery store. Unfortunately, it tasted a couple days old. I'm guessing it was because it was in the fridge section and might have been sitting there for a couple days. Very disappointing and should have been marked down. The rice was very hard and so was the pork. I grabbed it for a picnic and had to wait for till I got home to eat. Luckily, I know how to make refrigerated rice soft again. When I did warm it up, it tasted fine. Maybe they can add a microwave nearby for people who are going to eat it right then and there. In sf, at the nijiya market in Japan Town they have one and people frequently use it. I would have happily warmed up my own food I also had the gyoza $3.99 This wasnt in the fridge section so it was still crispy. Was pretty good. The sauce was a little on the salty side though. Overall, very nice, clean Korean grocery store. Definitely go in to check it out! I am hoping it will explode and business will get busier and become like Lotte market in Orlando, or hmart in California and then I can start grabbing sashimi at the grab and go. Haha. read more

She just stared at me and didn't even apologize when I said I was missing one! She was rushing and desperate to leave because it was almost time for her to leave. My cousin insisted we come and find out what this store has to offer . I can't remember which day we came but it was pretty quiet inside. They have tons of options from produce to snacks, everyday essentials to keep in the pantry especially if you like Asian food. There's a small shop inside that offers meals and boba teas/shakes. I noticed they have what looks like deli/butchers area but I'm not sure if that's for the public since it was closed and no one was in the area. I think we spent about 2 hours just going through each aisle to see what they had and what new things to try.
