This place is my favorite Asian market in south Florida. I love and appreciate the array of options. I've been coming here for over 7 years & always find a good bit of groceries, spices, drinks, etc. Their snack & ramen section are overwhelming in a good way. I've long known Asian markets are pretty common in North Miami on 167th, along with dumpling places and Chinese restaurants. I passed this place working in the area and stopped in after a quick Yelp consult lol I was on a quest for kimchi, even though it's a Chinese market. I'm sick of paying Publix and Whole Paycheck for tiny jars of kimchi. Naturally I found tons of Asian items I couldn't resist, and finally found some fresh homemade kimchi in monster jars for $6.99. I bought 2, because I'm never in that area, and I eat a ton of it as it's a favorite almost daily healthy snack for me vs junk food, and it's really good for your gut! Also bought ampules of Ginseng at register at $0.50 each- if you haven't researched benefits of Ginseng, you should! I'll be back, the Kimchi is pretty damn good, and the Ginseng I'll probably buy a case of next visit. Nice employees, and King Palace is next door for some killer Chinese food/BBQ if hungry ;) read more

I found most of what I wanted but I thought the market was going to be bigger with a larger selection. Very organized, clean and spacious Asian supermarket. I loved the nice and wide variety of oils, seasonings, noodles, rice noodles, tea and sweets available. They also have some soup bowl dishes and a few other kitchen utensils. They carry many many frozen products like fish balls, shrimp and pork dumplings and also Chinese vegetables like Bok Choy, mung bean sprouts and plenty types of mushrooms. Prices are affordable and we were able to find an excellent Korean kimchee and I also got a matcha-green tea cake from Japan and a wonderful coffee from Taiwan. If you like to discover the legendary and ancient chinnesse cuisine they have all the products you need including the wraps for egg rolls and dumplings!!! I used to go to another Chinese market in this area, but they mainly accepted cash or debit and required a threshold purchase amount to use credit cards. Then I found out about this market, and I'm glad to be able to go within a short drive! And they accept credit cards without limitations. They are open during the COVID pandemic, and they are open past the 2pm closing that maps for some reason say. They have large selections of each type of item. I usually go to get cooking rice (several brands, grains, sizes and prices), Asian vegetables and most importantly, tofu. When I can't stand the way too firm and not great tasting tofu in mainstream supermarkets and crave soft, silken tofu for hot pots and soups, I come here. They have a lot of different brands and firmness types of tofu (though I recommend House brand tofu for the quality and safety of its soybeans) to choose from. I've even gotten pure soy milk that is larger and less expensive than at other supermarkets. However, some items are low in stock or unavailable during the pandemic, so you need to look through carefully and see what is available. They also stock a lot of items from different Asian countries, so you'll see jars of kimchi next to rows of miso, ramen packets and packs from China, Korea, Thailand and Japan, and Indian spices next to Korean and Chinese chili pastes. It took so much in me not to buy a chili paste, there are so many and look so good! I also go to buy vegetables like mustard greens, baby bok choi, Chinese eggplants and bean sprouts, because usually they are 1. fresh, 2. very inexpensive per pound pricing, and 3. in huge quantities, encouraging a veggie fest at home. I'd say you should be able to find a product for whatever Asian dish you're trying to make. I just discovered the frozen food section, which was so expansive that I had to pull myself away after choosing a frozen dumpling bag! Go take a look there, I guarantee you'll find something new, tasty and useful to get! read more

Too bad it's far where I live, otherwise I would be a regular here. This is not your typical South Florida Asian grocery store, smelling and somewhat dirty with most of items expired before Covid-19. On the contrary, this supermarket is very clean, neat, and with plenty of choice when it comes to buying Asian food, but also stuff for the house. Prices are very reasonable and we found everything we wanted and more, including some nice sauce holders for the kitchen and Chinese soup spoons, which I needed because we often cook Asian food in our home (well that and 9 other types of cuisines...) When we went there we were literally the only non-Asian patrons, which to me is always a good sign, similar to when you walk in an Italian restaurant and everybody there is Italian: it speaks of authenticity. I will stop by again on my way back from Miami to PB County in our frequent future trips south and if you are looking for Asian food and kitchen tools (or décor) you have to visit this place. read more

The prices are very reasonable, and they have a private small parking lot. The market provides fresh/frozen food, snacks, beverages, accessories, medicine, kitchenware, fruits, fish, canned/dry goods, and more. There is plenty of parking outside of the building with shopping carts parked near the entrance for customers to get. The restrooms are located inside the store at the back with more than 1 stalls. 4 stars because I noticed that some foods are expired and still sitting on shelves. The last time I was there, I forgot to check the expiration date for one of the snacks that I got. On the way home, I opened that bag of snack and that happened to be the one expired. I would have returned to exchange but it wasn't worth driving back in traffic. So always check the expiration date! read more

Conveniently located on 167th street just west of NE 6th Ave, this asian market is a great place to shop. Their selections are many, and the place is really kept up clean. They offer more groceries than their competitors just down the street, and the prices are very similar. They also offer a ton of cooking utensils, pots, bowls and plates. There's also a small glass case in the back that houses Japanese type breads and sweets. Going today after being absent for so long made me a believer. I believe this is the best place to pick up your Asian groceries as their options are plentiful. read more

I've been in south Florida way too long, but some dude told me that 163rd street is like New York City, in terms of people and business diversity. I don't know which New York dude is talking about, but there is nothing in South Florida that is remotely similar to NYC, much less 163rd street. Anyway, I had to drive and wait for someone while they were getting blood work at Jackson North Medical Center. So I decided to check out Beijing Mart, the main Asian Market on 163rd st, a place where many of my Miami yelp comrades have given glowing reviews. Beijing Market has mostly Chinese products, but they also seem to have a little of everything from South East Asia. I'll say this, in terms of size and variety of products, for Miami this place is great. But the standard for Asian markets in Broward is much higher, our markets are much bigger and a couple of them have Asian Seafood Markets within them. They're more like what you'd find out in Socialist California. In Broward, Beijing Mart cannot compare to Kimchi Mart, Oriental Mart, NY Mart, or Foodtown. Beijing Mart reminds me of the mid-sized Asian Markets in Broward. read more

The opening time of 9:30 seems to be flexible (I left at 9:35 and saw another picture on Yelp with a similar experience), but if you wait, you'll find a pretty clean looking store with all the essentials. I was particularly impressed to find some Prima Taste brand noodles I had ordered online previously (because they are so good), here for $3 - sweet!! Good selection of veggies too - got some bok choi and Chinese eggplant. Prices on some items were a little more than PK across the street, but I'd weight them both about equal. read more

Beijing Mart still has a perfect 5 stars in my book! Beijing Mart really works toward expanding their inventory and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Whether it'd be dry goods or veggies, I've never purchased anything expired or un-fresh. Even if I'm willing to purchase vegetables that are okay in my standards, the cashier won't sell me them if they're not to their standards. I'm really impressed. Other Asian supermarkets could care less if you buy un-fresh vegetables, but not Beijing Mart! They also really work in keeping their store nice and clean. The boxes and other products are lined up with precision with the price clearly marked. There's a slight "odor", but it occurs naturally from Chinese herbs. Beijing Mart has sales every week, so keep an eye out in the Chinese newspaper for their weekly specials! Out of all my visits, I still haven't found a flaw. Keep up the perfect score! read more

I stopped by here to grab a few things for an event at my school. The store wasn't super big or have much variety in the sense of Korean foods, but I found a few things. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had only two bags of goods and the total came to $30 something dollars. I have previously shopped at Kimchi-Mart in Pembroke Pines, walked out with like 10 bags for $82. I felt like I got a better bang for my buck up there, versus here. Also, I think there was a better selection up there. I definitely didn't hate the place, but I think I've been to better. read more

Beijing mart is a very clean and organized store on 167 street , the owner are Venezuelan chinese and the whole family seems to work there . I go there from time to time when I need a special items i can't find ,most of the time i will call ahead and check, they always answer my question and are very helpful. They have now kind off replace P.K that was down th street next to burger king ,which no longer exist I miss it If you do need chinese or japanese , Indonesian products you can go there and be assure that all the dry ,perishable and frozen are fine and not expired ,I gladly recommend this store. read more

I didn't think that trying to find Asian ingredients in Miami would be so hard. Well it is. It's a little disappointing that Miami is so not Asian food friendly but hey you gotta deal with what you can find. :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Asian foods take off and become more popular here! ;) One can always hope. Anyhow, this was the second out of 4 Asian grocery stores that I visited and this is by far the best one. They have a nice selection of items that I was looking for in a clean well lit area. It wasn't cluttered. Things were well labeled and the prices were higher then I was used to paying in Vegas but for Miami...I think they were decent. Yeah I had to drive 45 minutes in traffic to get here... But i was able to find 90% if the items that I was looking for. They had the soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, Chinese sausage, rice cakes, plethora of Korean ramens that I was looking for as well as snacks... Nori... And all the Asian "herbal" medicines and tiger balm that my parents swore up and down would fix anything...lol In other words, they had pretty much everything that I was looking for. Was it smaller than the Asian grocery stores in Vegas, Texas and Cali?? Heck yeah.. But hey... I'll take 90% over 40% which is what the other three Asian grocery stores had... And it was clean to boot! So have I found my Asian grocery store in Miami?? Yup I have! And I'll be coming to Beijing again and again and again and again. :) read more

This place is so organized & clean. The people who work here are nice and somewhat helpful. The customer or traffic flow of the store is still light and not so crowded, which I really like. The parking is nice and spacious. However, they still seem to be in the building their inventory phase, so they didn't have what I was really for but they did carry things that peaked my curiosity. I always come here for my Asian produce and products they have a good range from Korean , Vietnamese , Chinese to Thailand.. the price is reasonable the produce is really good . Everything is nice and clean , staffs are helpful and unlike any other market it doesn't smell lol read more
