Outside of Brazilian women, I absolutely love Pao de queijo(cheese bread). Previously this delicacy had me drive great distances to Boca or Kendall to satisfy myself, but not anymore. Brazil Mart a Coral Gables favorite has now opened a new location in Sunny Isles. As a specialty import market you'll find coxinha, empada's, pao de queijo the holy grail of all snacks, pastel queijo, imported Juices like caju, frozen acai, imported frozen pastries, sweets and meats like cupim, imported sodas, coffee, imported Brazilian groceries, clothes and flags. They didn't have any ready Brazilian bakery items as they are still awaiting the permits to sell cooked food. I ended up buying some of my favorite frozen items. I really like the people who work here, or the owners, I don't know who they were but they were super friendly.

I looked around and realized that my Russian friends brought me to a place that's much more than a pharmacy servicing the Russian community. What I entered was a holy holistic refuge for healing. These are some of the life changing things I saw. - Semi-precious Crystals(generators, tumbled stones, necklaces, bracelets, malas etc) - Herbal extracts and remedy's - nutritional supplements like vitamins and minerals - life changing compounds like black seed oil( it cures cancer), milk thistle(cures non-viral hepatitis) and wild harvested oil or oregano(cures colds and flus) - Incense including Tibetan incense - unique smudge sticks - herbal teas - organic meal replacement powders like Raw Meal - Buddhist and Hindu statues - gifts that support the zen lifestyle - prescription medication - bach flower essences In reality it would take me hours to list all of their products. I felt like a kid in a candy store, I saw many of my favorite brands & products like Dr's Best, Jarrow, North American Herb & Natural Calm Magnesium(cures anxiety, sleep issues & panic attacks). When I reached the back of the store I could then see why I sensed such a powerful radiating familiar energy, there were two huge statues of Kwan Yin complimented by citrine & amethyst geodes and selenite towers. Kwan Yins presence is actually in this store. Talking to the owner was like talking to someone I knew in a previous life, I could have stayed there forever. She's high spirited, she radiates zen and she has a wealth of health knowledge. I am really happy and appreciative that I've found this place, I am going to return again and again....and then again and again.

It's more natural, made from quality herbs and supplements. They have every tea, herb and spice you can think of! The place is small but has a lot of offerings. Deli, grocery and gifts. My coworker raved about it…read moreso much that we made an field trip! We went for lunch and straight to the deli. I really loved the beet salad. It balanced the saltiness of the salmon crepe. They have cheeses! And all sorts of ! ! And some fresh produce. I didn't get a chance to explore the whole store but I'll be back.

When a customer calls with a question and your only response is "come in," that's not customer…read moreservice -- that's you refusing to do your job. This isn't 1980s behind the Iron Curtain. It's a business, and answering basic questions is literally the minimum requirement. We closed on our home faster than expected and arrived right in South Florida before Christmas. We weren't looking for a field trip or a guessing game, we needed catered food because cooking wasn't happening. Either you offer it or you don't. If you can't say that over the phone, you shouldn't be answering it. It might be time to ditch that outdated, cold, Eastern-European-style "act annoyed and make the customer work for it" service model and join the modern world, where being friendly and helpful is the baseline. We'll take our personal and business purchases to Doris Supermarket from now on, where customer service doesn't feel like an inconvenience and people actually understand why phones exist.
