If you can't say that over the phone, you shouldn't be answering it. It might be time to ditch that outdated, cold, Eastern-European-style "act annoyed and make the customer work for it" service model and join the modern world, where being friendly and helpful is the baseline. We'll take our personal and business purchases to Doris Supermarket from now on, where customer service doesn't feel like an inconvenience and people actually understand why phones exist.

I think the only thing that would've been better had she realized we didn't speak Portuguese. My boyfriend addressed her in English and it seems she had difficulty changing languages. Very disappointing customer service. If you don't know whether an item is in stock, simply say that you're not sure and check. Don't give customers false information and then ignore their calls.
