We weren't looking for a field trip or a guessing game, we needed catered food because cooking wasn't happening. Either you offer it or you don't. If you can't say that over the phone, you shouldn't be answering it. It might be time to ditch that outdated, cold, Eastern-European-style "act annoyed and make the customer work for it" service model and join the modern world, where being friendly and helpful is the baseline. We'll take our personal and business purchases to Doris Supermarket from now on, where customer service doesn't feel like an inconvenience and people actually understand why phones exist.

I think the only thing that would've been better had she realized we didn't speak Portuguese. My boyfriend addressed her in English and it seems she had difficulty changing languages. It was Portuguese galore. At any rate, we got our items, paid, and were on our way out. Will definitely return, as we are huge pão de queijo fans and they have a load of variety available.
