And the shawarma platter was full of amazing stuff- eggplant, cucumber, cabbage salads, peppers...hummus... I could go on. We loved it and couldn't finish the food. I had the Samarkand Plov which is a traditional dish from Uzbekistan in this particular iteration was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The portion was generous. Because each of the layers of this dish or cook separately, this is not something I take the time to cook at home, but I do enjoy.
