Love getting a good price on my groceries especially the produce . At other stores it either 50 cents or a dollar more on some of the produce I buy. I can leave with several bags of food for under one hundred . I'm vegan so buying fresh produce is important and they have a good selection. Aldi is one of those place I forget exists because it is rather small, however, any time I find myself there I forget how awesome it is. There is many different things at this location, for the fraction of the price where you can get them at other supermarket stores. Sure it's their brand and designs but it's the exact same thing other markets do to sell their own products instead of name brands. They have everything from chips to crackers and from bread to cheese. The amount of items they have in terms of dairy and nondairy selections are also wide as well and very reasonably priced compared to other places as well. The staff is always friendly here when I go and I have never had a problem that couldn't be solved when I ask for assistance from one of the workers nearby if I am confused or lost. They don't offer bags unless you buy them for a few cents, which is one of the cool things about this store because they're trying to cut down on waste. I love ALDIs I usually bounce between two locations but this one is my main one, on pines and hiatus. I've only had two bad encounters, but for me that's one two many. Today i decided to pay with the cashier at the register. I said " Good morning" no response I figured maybe she didn't hear me so I said it again and louder. She looked at said nothing at all and went back to continuing her phone conversation. She had her EarPod in her ears. So she either really didn't hear me or just prioritized her phone conversation, either way I find that to be unprofessional and lacking in customer service. My customer experience was affected. When I was done she just handed me my receipt and a blank stare. She never hung up. Well as you can see that experience took me right up here to leave this review. Think of Aldi's as the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter hanging in an Aldi's keychain made for that purpose attached to my purse. I have noticed that a lot of stores are leaving carts where the quarter slot is locked in the parking lot for shoppers but not at this store. Okay on to the latest Aldi's update. One of my favorite things about Aldi's is their seasonal items. If there is a holiday coming up they will bring in specialty foods. St. Patrick's Day is around the corner and I found some great Irish food items. In the freezer section I grabbed their beer batter fish but it was in the refrigerator case along the wall that I found the true treasure, sage derby cheese, Shepard's pie, Lucky charms break and bake sugar cookies, and an Irish cream cheesecake. At only $5 the cheesecake is a steal. Honestly I wasn't a fan of the shepherds pie, all potato and no meat. Aldi's is also selling corned beef. Last but not least, I managed to find a bottle of the Connellys Country Cream in mint chocolate. It's the perfect St. Patrick's Day drink. Terrific items at phenomenal prices. I have been coming to this location since they first opened. They underwent a remodel last year and the store is easier to walk through now. I think Aldi has such high quality fresh vegetables at unreal prices. It is amazing how much $10 will get you in the produce department compared to a regular supermarket. I've only had one instance in all these years of a spoiled vegetable product. Their fresh fruits are hit or miss. One thing I am not thrilled with is their sale items seem to be out of stock by Sunday or so when the majority of shoppers are there. Aldi is slow to restock these most of the time. I have tried a few of their other products such as potato chips, lemonade and ice cream. These are all Aldi branded items or private label since they carry very few national brands. I was not very impressed with those items I tried outside of the produce department. Overall, Aldi can really stretch your dollar. I really like how they have so many fruits and vegetables to choose from. I try to stop at Aldi about once a week. read more

I have loved Aldi since I visited my very first Aldi in Germany. They may have a limited variety of foods and merchandise but their prices cant be beat. They are for sure the least expensive supermarket for your essentials. They offer organic produce at prices lower than regular produce at other big box supermarkets. They ALWAYS have staples such as milk, eggs, butter, lettuce, tomatoes etc. But they do not always have the same produce, meats or dry goods. Much of what they sell is seasonal. If you see something you like, buy it when you see it. It may not be there next time. Their shops are much smaller than our traditional American supermarkets but so are their prices. Went here last weekend and I'm not an avid aldi shopper (i usually head to walmart and/or trader Joe's). Despite that, I had a pleasant experience here at Aldi's. Even though it's a small store I felt that there was ample space to walk around and browse items- even with it being a busy Saturday afternoon. I loved the different products they had at low prices. Almost every part of the store had some great deals going on. I was able to purchase boneless chicken breasts for under 5 bucks and that was full sized (not thinned). The only downside here seems to be that they may be limited on certain products and produce which for me isn't too bad as I shop at different places to make the most of my budget. The lines here may seem intimidating at first but those cashiers are so efficient that you're only waiting like 2 to 5 minutes! Make sure to bring your own bags and a quarter to use their carts. Ample parking, unfortunately the "quarter back" system doesn't encourage everyone to return their carts, so there were stray carts floating around the lot. I must say that this is a huge improvement from my initial introduction to Aldi. Granted it wasn't this location, but I am the type of person that if one sucks they all suck to me. In the past I have brought produce and literally the next day it went bad. From then I'd sworn off Aldi. It has legit been about a year since I have stepped foot in one. For whatever reason these past two weeks, I decided to come here not once but twice! So what do I love? I love that it is organized. I like to go right to what I'm looking for, get it and be on my way. I also enjoy that the produce is of good quality and reasonably priced. My first trip to this location (of my produce items), I'd brought green grapes, mangoes, envy apples and honeycrisp apples. And no joke they were of Publix quality. Envy apples at Publix are about $3/lb! Blasphemy. I really love that they have the chopped salads at a fraction of the price at both Winn-Dixie and Publix. Today I purchased eggs, mangoes, tangerines, envy apples, cucumber, juice boxes and one or two other items and only spent $20. You cannot beat that at all! You do have to bring your own grocery bags, but that doesn't bother me at all. And instead of using a quarter to get a buggy, I put my items in my bag as I go. Not because of the quarter (I mean you do get it back) but because it is much more easier to maneuver around the store without a buggy. I will definitely continue to come here and it helps that it is right around the corner from my house. read more

While Aldi is known for it's low price strategy and no fluff shopping experience, this location is sub-par to others I have been to. The floors are never clean and produce spills are not properly taken care of. I purchased a block of cream cheese that did not expire for another 4 months, opened it the following day of my purchase, and it already tasted sour. Their produce never lasts more than a few days. The attached picture was taken on a Wednesday morning and shows a squash I purchased on Sunday, already rotting. They are also notorious for long lines as it seems like there are never more than 2 people working at a time, with no one on the floor to assist. I've also seen meats left at the checkout counter that people have decided not to purchase, which makes me question how long until they are placed back in the cooler for another person to buy. Overall I now only visit this Aldi to save money on dry goods, pantry items and cleaning supplies. read more

I love that they carry tri color carrots. They are very reasonably priced, like everything Aldi sells. I was impressed with their baby products department. They have a large variety of items for baby. They also have some nice dog food. I never knew about these two categories of that Aldi carries. I was quite impressed. I love the efficiency of checkout at this Aldi. Cashiers work like lightning. I have never seen anything like this before. The grand opening was yesterday. I went this morning and as with any new store there were tons of people shopping. First off make sure you have a quarter if you want to use their shopping carts. You get it back when you return the cart. Yes, it is a pain but the savings might just be worth it. They had milk for 1.99 a gallon, eggs .69 dozen, flour 1.19 and sugar for 1.99. I was not impressed with their selection of produce nor their meats, most of which were frozen however I did get nice red delicious apples 3 lbs. for 1.39. The prize of the day was to find Maripan Stollen imported from Germany for 4.49. Bring your own bags as they charge for theirs. read more

The low prices at Aldi are magnificent! If you're ever on a budget or just want to save a couple dollars for something else, this is the place to go. They carry all your basic groceries such as milk, fruit, veggies etc. Even though everything is sold at a low price, Aldi restocks inventory quite frequently so you'll always have a fresh selection to choose from. The best bargains in my opinion are: the organic bananas, organic soymilk, cucumbers, and apples. Some catches for these low prices are that you have to bring you own bags and that you can't use credit cards. Only debit or cash payments are accepted. The employees at this Aldi's are working as fast as they can to keep the lines moving, they're efficient and friendly. We mainly saw the manager and the cashiers, and one employee trying to re-stock a cereal boxes display. Great staff but the store itself is dirty and un-organized, probably due to being understaffed. Every display in every aisle is sloppy with many items thrown about the very dirty floors. The Produce Dept. is a mess and nothing looked fresh. The "supposed savings" on groceries is not enough to keep me going back to this grocery store. read more

I would recommend anyone and everyone to shop at Aldi, the prices are good and for the most part so are the goods they carry but I have an issue with the pork chops that they have in store labeled as thinly cut that I've been buying since they opened in pembrokepines fl, chops was a nicely sliced piece of meat but now it should be called pork strips since you can literally look through it, you can't hold without it tearing apart. Found everything I was looking for but the reason why I'm giving this location a poor rating was due to their cashier. Sonia was ringing us up and my fiancé went with our pull out bags and she just kept throwing everything into the cart. I'll be back. My family and friends in Ireland are big Aldi fans so I've been really curious to see how Aldi US would match up to Aldi Ireland. Anyone who is not brand loyal is going to love this place. The price difference between Aldi and Publix is amazing. I've been here twice already and the diffrence in everyday staples like Milk and canned beans and eggs is substantial if you have a large family. EG. Winn Dixie and Publix gallon milk is about $4.00. In Aldi it's $1.99. The fruit and veggies are woeful though. Really nasty and subpar. I'm not mad about the breads either. But if you are a savy shopper and are aware of prices in the other stores you can score big here by going once a month and stocking up on the cheap stuff. Their make up line is quite good. I lost all my make up on a recent trip and loaded up on some of the basics here to see me through for next to nothing. read more

This Aldi is really close to where I work so I go whenever I end work! Went today to get some pineapples and they are so fresh! Way cheaper than Publix's pineapple. They have everything there. From milk and egg to toilet paper! Everything was a bit messy, having the stuff thrown around and random boxes on the floor. They should definitely hire more workers. Aldi's is by far the cheapest and best grocery store in any town. You can find gourmet food for half the price they sell in other stores and because Aldi's is German owned, you can find authentic European chocolate for very cheap. We are a family of three (3) and we can usually buy a whole week's worth of groceries for around 80-100, whereas the same items would total well over $100 at Publix, Winn-Dixie, Target, and Walmart. When we're really smart we can get a week's worth of food for $70-75. That is unheard of at any other grocery store. Make sure you bring a quarter so you can rent a shopping cart. You get a quarter back once you return the cart to the corral. Also, bring your own bags or be prepared to either use empty boxes found around the store or you can purchase plastic or paper bags at $.05-.10 a piece. (That can add up to a lot if you're not careful!) The only thing I would refrain from buying at this Aldi's is bread and produce. Their bread does not contain corn syrup or preservatives so it goes bad extremely fast unless you're a family who eats bread all the time. Their produce for some reason goes bad even faster. We bought bananas that were green and within a few days they went from green to black. We try to buy our produce and breads from other stores for this reason. read more

Save! This place has cheap prices. They cut costs by not offering bags and having a deposit for using their carts. No bags mean you need to bring your own reusable bags and the deposit of 25 cents you will get back when you return the cart. This cuts one position to fill (no employee assigned to pick up carts). Selection is less than the typical grocery store. Therefore, you need to know specifically what they have and match it with your needs. The deal breaker for me is that they don't take credit cards. This place is small but you'll find your basic knock off items at low prices. We usually come for the milk, eggs, bread and spices. There's not much of a selection when it comes to the meats and produce. I ain't gonna lie... I do like the candies here because of their selection of hazelnut flavored products - It's always a treat. Now, how are they able to offer such low prices?? They save money by you bringing in a quarter to take out and bring back the cart instead of paying staff to fetch them in the parking lot. Aldi is a GOURMET bargain hunters paradise. Many of their self branded foods are really much better than the original brands. First, bring your own bags or boxes, although they will sell you plastic or cloth bags that are still really inexpensive. Put your quarter in the slot of the grocery cart, and you have "rented" it for the rest of your trip; when you return it to the line, you get your quarter back. One customer "gave" me their cart, and would not take my quarter, so I played it forward when I left the store. When you enter, the first thing you get to is the candy cookies, snack, crackers and cereal. The imported German chocolates are really good, up in the Lindt category. Many store brands are available right next to the Aldi brands. Most things are in boxes, kind of like a Costco; others are on shelves. The first time you go to an Aldi, walk through ALL of the aisles, so that you know what is available and how much it costs. You will come to the wines. Right now, the list is excellent and the prices are right. Italy, Spain, Germany, Argentina and South Africa are all represented. Nothing is below an 87 in wine guides. Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio are very good, and their "store brand" Winking Owl is nothing to sneeze at for $2.99 a bottle. Lactose free milk is a super bargain at $1.20 less than Publix Lactaid. Don't be afraid of the long lines or full carts. The cashiers here are so fast it will make your head spin. Bag your own purchases. I understand that this company also owns Trader Joe's, which makes sense, given their eco-friendly and gourmet friendly food strategy. But you have to experience it on your own to see what all the fuss is about! read more

In short, Alidi is owned by Mr. Nord, who owns Trader Joes. There many European practices at these stores, just like grocery stores all over Europe. Using coins to use a cart is one. The fact that some stores don't accept cash is another. I believe that one started in German Aldi stores. Bringing your own bags is another. No, this isn't Trader Joes,Target or Walmart. But you will get some great deals on their brand products. Many times, store brands are manufactured along side name brands, recipes changed of course. I get some great deals on baking items during the holidays. Butter, flour, sugar, spices, baking soda, baking powder, nuts, chocolate chips, etc...great products. I'm not saying, ok make all your meals with their products, use good judgement. I have never had a problem. As a matter of fact. During holidays, I find imported Belgium and German chocolate at these stores. You can put together some real nice holiday baskets for teachers, co workers and such. The products are usually prettier than our American branded chocolates, the countries flag is usually on them someone (small of course) and the cocoa butter percentages are higher than American chocolates. I found out about this place after researching Trader Joes and their lack of stores in FL. Since they're owned by the same company, I decided to give it a try. I actually really like this place. Very no frills, but there are a few quality items (fine chocolate, wild caught salmon) amongst many other staples. We're careful with the meats we buy as some look like really cheap cuts. We stick with pork chops and ground turkey meat, both reasonably priced but we go elsewhere for the rest. Very organized, great prices and eco-friendly (even though we forget to bring the bags 50% of the time). I still miss TJs dearly but this'll do. read more
