I came here most recently for the fall festival but I also purchased some plants (and regularly do from here). The fall festival was very cute. It was $15 and you get to pick 2 options from a hayride, pumpkin painting, a hotdog, a croissant sandwich, a frozen cider, and a kettle corn. I did the hayride and pumpkin painting. We only got one pumpkin so we were able to use our extra ticket for a kettle corn. The hayride is a little silly. You definitely need to just enjoy the campy vibes... Is it a little short and cheap looking? Yes. Are the vibes there? Yes. If you go in expecting that then it'll be fun. There was a short wait (at around 2pm on a Saturday) but probably not even more than 10 minutes. For the pumpkin painting, you're able to pick your own pumpkin and they provide you with some paints, brushes, and water at tables. When you're done, there's carts you can leave your pumpkin to dry on while you continue to look around. In addition to the food that you can pick from on the tickets, there were also funnel cakes, churros, and shaped cotton candy for sale. The churros looked like they came with A LOT. For the kettle corn that you can pick with your ticket, you can actually pick between a bag of regular popcorn, caramel corn, or kettle corn. This wasn't listed on the ticket so it was a nice surprise! They make the popcorn right there in the tent and we got the kettle corn which was very good. There is also a "pumpkin patch" which is just some tables of pumpkins that you can purchase, a big box of gourds that you can purchase, and a small fall-themed photo area. Overall, I thought it was very cute and fun as long as you know what to expect. For the actual nursery, I picked up some flowers for my yard. Their plants somehow always seem to be of very good quality and I choose to get all my plants here.

Cute for fall festivities! They have plenty of photos opps, a pumpkin patch, hayride, pumpkin painting and tasty treats, like frozen cider and croissant sandwiches. You get to choose 2 things with the $15 admission fee. Kids under 2 are free! It's small but quaint and has everything you need for a quick fall festival.

Flamingo Road Nursery is a hidden gem to visit in broward county for nature and plant lovers. This place has countless varieties of plants, trees, and flowers. They also have exclusive and cool looking planting accessories and artisan level looking pots and pans for your plants. This is a one stop shop for your plants- whether you are looking to buy a new plant for your home, gift a flower to a friend, or to find an answer to a plant problem you are having. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. If they are asked a question they don't know an answer to, they will take their time to radio someone who might be able to help you. My experience at flamingo road nursery has been a 5/5, but because of 20 mosquito bites I have gotten on my leg I am giving them 4 stars. ***I recommend visiting this place on a cloudy or a rainy day because on a sunny day it might be super hot. If you decide to visit on a sunny day please put on a plenty of sunscreen! If you decide to go on a cloudy day, please make sure to wear an insect repellent or wear long sleeves to protect yourselves from mosquitoes!!!

Yesterday was a beautiful Fall day and we chose to spend it at their Fall Festival 2024. We had a great time there enjoying not only all the Fall decorations, but also the pumpkin selection, the hayride, the frozen apple cider drinks, the scary Halloween characters, the beautiful plants, the huge adirondack chairs, the bakery, the crafts, pumpkin carving, the food, the monkeys, the flamingos, and overall vibe of the nursery. They have a large free parking lot including wheelchair accessiblability. Dogs are welcome if leashed and under control. Wear comfortable shoes. It was $15 per adult for admittance. Children 1 and under are free. I highly recommend this for a fun time.

A cute location for the holidays, came here for the pumpkin patch festival with some friends . The entrance was $15 and you get two vouchers for activities which is great , we got the apple cider and the hay ride . There was not much with pumpkin as a the patch it's self . But it's mainly oriented for children.

Huge garden nursery on Flamingo Road just south of 595. Simple parking directly at the entrance. The front hut has so many interesting trinkets for your yard or patio. The main section of the nursery is like a fantasy jungle, literally. Giant trees and thick bushes everywhere but they do provide wide pathways. Families pushing their kids in strollers kinda like Lion Country Safari without animals. Lots of kids picking out their pumpkin from the patch. They have a cool eatery called Flamingo Cafe & Market providing fresh honey, cold smoothies, coffee and pastries.

This place is amazing. They have so many fruit tree options, many house plants and rare plants options. Lots of ideas how it decorate with plants. Definitely wish I would have found this place sooner.

This little gem is always my go-to spot to clear my head or simply get out of the house for a bit. Entry is free, and you'll be amazed at the variety of live plants they offer. Right now, they have a great selection of fall and harvest items, including plants, decor, pottery, and more. As you stroll through the garden, you'll notice a diverse array of flowers and plants around every corner--from orchids and bonsai to herbs and veggies. After exploring, you'll likely find yourself drawn to the wonderfully fragrant little café. Here, you'll find jams, honey, marinades, and fresh-baked goods! Although I didn't purchase anything this time (which I now regret), I highly recommend the chocolate banana bread; it's heavenly! If you enjoy gardens, plants, and flowers, this is definitely a place you'll appreciate. Plus, if you have kids, the fall harvest activities--like pumpkin painting and hayrides--are going on now (note that some activities have a fee). You'll probably leave with something special!

This nursery is a great place to visit for all of your gardening/planting needs. They carry an incredible variety of plants so it's likely they're going to have whatever you're looking for. The open layout that's filled end to end lets you get immersed in the surrounding greenery. Even if you're not looking for anything in particular, it's well worth the visit to take a relaxing walk around. I especially like coming here to get my milkweed for Monarch caterpillars/butterflies. The most important thing in the whole process is getting plants that are totally natural & haven't been sprayed or treated with pesticides. Unfortunately, I've gotten my share of plants that weren't good but that's going to happen after doing it for years. I really wish they were more consistent with their supplier because that would let me purchase with 100% certainty. It's a waste of money when the plants aren't good but luckily it doesn't happen often. The prices here aren't the cheapest but they're also not too steep. It's worth it when you know you're buying a well kept plant. There's always a couple employees walking around which shows they're keeping an eye on the products. Any time I've ever needed assistance they've done a great job at helping me out; I usually get service with a smile. I'd highly recommend visiting this nursery if you're a plant lover like myself. In my opinion, it's worth paying the few extra dollars & driving out here when I need something. It's also a cool place to visit if you want to chill out while looking at some unique plants.

The proprietor, John, is a jovial québécois who puts me in mind of a beardless Santa Claus. He's very friendly and generous with information, as you'll be able to tell by the length of my review. He's been in the Christmas tree game all of his life, growing the Christmas trees on his family Christmas tree farm that his grandfather established in Quebec. They have 5 feet to 21 feet tall trees, either ethereally slender or delightfully chubby, but all full. They also have special aluminum and steel Christmas tree stands for sale that they will install for you. They recommend aluminum stands for smaller trees and the steel stands for larger trees. They have massive trees. I asked about the 16 to 21 feet tall trees, the heights of which I've never seen at any other Christmas tree stand, and most of these are sold to regulars. I met one of the regulars who said they have to put the tree near the stairs and then put a ladder on the second story in order to decorate it, lol, but I digress. They sold 4 trees in the short amount of time that I was there, and, apparently, this mostly word-of-mouth tree stand usually sells out within days after Thanksgiving weekend. It must help that between John and his locally sourced staff, English, Spanish and French speaking customers are easily accommodated. The tree prices are priced by range because you can have 2 12-feet trees, but one tree took more years to grow, so you're not buying a tree based on height, but rather how long the tree was cultivated and cared for on the family farm. I also bought some Canadian maple syrup and Canadian maple sugar. The maple is sourced from Canadian maples overseen by John's wife. The maple syrup is amazing... not cloyingly sweet or overly thick. I can't wait to try the maple sugar for sugar cookies and candied maple bacon. I love supporting small businesses, and, if you do, too, take a chance on this tree stand. I'm sure you'll become a regular.

I like that there's usually something new to me when I visit. For the most part, prices are great. If you're on a budget, you can walk away with an armful of succulents or small potted flowers for under $15. Also, There's always a sale of some sort. I have never seen anything quite like this, but I'm really happy to have visited this decoration explosion. I had been longing to go to some kind of outdoor Christmas event since it's so warm here in South FL. The Hyatt Extreme Christmas fit the bill perfectly. This home is truly Clark Griswold's dream come true! We arrived with friends about 15 minutes before sunset since I was nervous about how the parking would be. We parked on the lawn, but it did get a bit busier by the time we left. It was stimulation overload with the plethora of festive decorations here, but in a good way. Once the lights came on it was amazing! The numerous decorations here are SO elaborate, I really appreciate the time and effort this family puts into doing this. I especially love all of the palm trees with the holiday lights strung on them. Being from NY, it makes my heart so happy to see this type of tree decorated for the holiday. It does get a little busy here, but I think it's worth doing. If you need a Christmas decoration fix, I highly recommend coming here to get into the holiday mood.

The Hyatt family decorates their house to the max and then opens the gate for all to see, They also collect donations for organizations, write letters to service members, and have crafts for the kids. If you have never been you will truly be amazed. There are lights galore, a Ferris wheel, Disney characters, snowmen, Santa and his sleigh, and a manager just to name a few of the displays. As much as I love to visit I have not done so much in recent years because of the war the City of Plantation has waged on the Hyatt's. The city has deemed the display to be a nuisance and took the Hyatt's to court to stop it. They lost and had to pay the family's court cost. The result of the fall out is that the city will attempt to ticket every car they can on Old Hiatus Road for illegal parking. Last year a local law firm volunteered their services to have the tickets thrown out and were successful. I don't know what is going to happen this year. If you are interested in the saga you can read more about on the family's facebook page. The house is in a residential neighborhood so parking is tricky. There is a small lot across from the house that seems safe to park in. I also saw a sign that was posted on the corner that said parking was a block away. I believe a church at one time offered safe parking. I opted to park on Old Hiatus Road with many other people that seemed to be far away enough from the police. I was worried about getting a ticket the whole time so it put a damper on the fun. Thankfully we made it back before the police reached us but I saw that was not the case for a lot of other people. Parking is at your own risk here. Next year the mayor seat of Plantation is up for election so if they get a new mayor sympathetic to the Hyatt's things may change. December 23 was the last night that the gates were opened to see the display for 2017. Lights go off for the year on December 28th. The Hyatt's do a great job of listing their hours and communicating with people through their facebook page. It's a shame that an amicable relationship can't be reached with Plantation. The Hyatt's clearly love Christmas and they share their joy with the community and especially children.
