I called early Saturday morning around 8:30 AM and spoke with a very helpful woman who told me they had just cut fresh St. Augustine grass. She arranged to have it delivered between 12 and 2 PM the same day. Right on time at 12 o'clock, the delivery driver arrived with a semi-truck and forklift. He was incredibly professional and skillfully placed all five pallets of sod in convenient spots around my backyard, making it so easy for us to access and install. From start to finish, Pop's Nursery was professional, friendly, and efficient. They even called ahead to confirm delivery time, which I really appreciated. Full service nursery with a huge assortment of plants, bushes, and trees with offered delivery. The inventory is maintained well with easy navigation between the bushy aisles. The manager (could have been Pops himself) assisted me locating certain plants. The decorative boulders were the best deal for the small size at $120.00. My favorite plant is the white spine barrel at only $15.00 which is a fraction of the price offered online. New owner's that are very nice and did I mention their prices are lower than other places . A friend asked me to pick up a miracle fruit tree and they had it , yippee, hurray . I want one too but I'll buy next month . This fruit berry makes everything sour taste sweet for a half an hour . It's also good for diabetic people but not if you're pregnant . I'm bringing this plant to Gainsville, I hope it survives the weather that is cooler in the winter. read more

Omg- my GF and I hit this nursery late in the day unfortunately as they were getting ready to close shop, but I will certainly be driving back down because they had so much stuff!! Not only were their plants beautiful, but the pricing was untouchable! Certainly worth the gas money for me to travel from Lake Worth. I had the best experience here. The service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered a 6-ft palm and several other plants for my front yard project. Christina at the nursery was incredibly helpful with the plant selection and ordering process. Interestingly, some of the plant nurseries in Broward and Miami are operated by "Southerners". I've never really encountered any odd behavior except this one time. I remember I was at my favorite plant nursery Flamingo Road Nursery, and a blonde who worked in the food market had a confederate flag key chain in plain sight on her body. It was so obviously advertised it seemed that she wanted people to see it. Anyway, I've been coming to Pops Nursery for years, but only to buy sod(rectangular pieces of grass). I never really thought of buying any of their plants as nothing has ever caught my eye. Either way, I hadn't been to this place in more than 5 years, and I came by yesterday to get some sod. But the minute I walked in the Nick Nolte looking dude who's always there just stared at me, no hi, no how can I help you, nothing. This dude looked at me like he thought I was the CEO of BLM or I was one of the dudes knocking down the confederate statues. Dude was literally trying to burn a whole through me with his eyes. Dude didn't say a word before or after purchase, he just took the money and gave me the change. And not the ones that you find at Home Depot that are in mass production I'm talking about ones that are very unusual and they also are very good at their side they usually always have it in stock they're very good at if your side goes bad they'll replace it for free if you show me a picture and show my receipt so I always follow the receipt if you can and every time I've been there if I was at mass except for the guy that loads he doesn't wear a mask but the people that take the money and the credit cards and stuff always have masks on and if you look at for somebody thatKnows their plants they're very knowledgeable and I can help you with any landscape ideas read more

Went to pops on a recommendation from a worker at Home Depot. I would say he was right bought almost a pallet of sod and some top soil prices weren't bad. Sod was in the shade so it wasn't dried out in fact the truck had just pulled in with fresh sod. One of the workers loaded everything for me and I was off. Would use again if needed. read more
