I just bought sod from Pop's Nursery, and I cannot say enough good things about them! I called early Saturday morning around 8:30 AM and spoke with a very helpful woman who told me they had just cut fresh St. Augustine grass. She arranged to have it delivered between 12 and 2 PM the same day. Right on time at 12 o'clock, the delivery driver arrived with a semi-truck and forklift. He was incredibly professional and skillfully placed all five pallets of sod in convenient spots around my backyard, making it so easy for us to access and install. From start to finish, Pop's Nursery was professional, friendly, and efficient. They even called ahead to confirm delivery time, which I really appreciated. You don't find many places that operate this smoothly anymore--and their prices are very reasonable, too. Highly recommend!! read more

Pop's Nursery - Fresh sod. Absolutely love it! So happy with my choice in Pops nursery! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Full service nursery with a huge assortment of plants, bushes, and trees with offered delivery. The inventory is maintained well with easy navigation between the bushy aisles. The manager (could have been Pops himself) assisted me locating certain plants. The decorative boulders were the best deal for the small size at $120.00. My favorite plant is the white spine barrel at only $15.00 which is a fraction of the price offered online. To support the egg shortage, they were selling farm fresh eggs $8.00 a dozen which was a nice offering. read more

New owner's that are very nice and did I mention their prices are lower than other places . A friend asked me to pick up a miracle fruit tree and they had it , yippee, hurray . I want one too but I'll buy next month . This fruit berry makes everything sour taste sweet for a half an hour . It's also good for diabetic people but not if you're pregnant . I'm bringing this plant to Gainsville, I hope it survives the weather that is cooler in the winter. read more

Omg- my GF and I hit this nursery late in the day unfortunately as they were getting ready to close shop, but I will certainly be driving back down because they had so much stuff!! Not only were their plants beautiful, but the pricing was untouchable! Certainly worth the gas money for me to travel from Lake Worth. I truly wish I had more time but what I got about a month ago is thriving and I couldn't be happier! Go here before going to the big box stores because you'll get way more bang for your buck! read more

I had the best experience here. The service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered a 6-ft palm and several other plants for my front yard project. Christina at the nursery was incredibly helpful with the plant selection and ordering process. The owner personally came with the crew to make sure everything was planted properly and helped arrange the plants beautifully. That level of care and attention really stood out. I'm extremely happy with the results and will definitely be coming back for more plants. read more

Great selection nice staff I'm here at least once a week. Decent prices too! I brought a friend from miami and she loves it!

But some sod and it was loaded very nicely by the young gun out in front, The gentleman inside the store was gracious enough to give me a veteran of a discount even though it was small really appreciate it. I live in Miramar and closer to tropical but they are usually out of sod and I prefer the service better at Pops, a littleout of the way but I will return there for all my sod and other needs read more

Selection of healthy plants and value is great! I bought a screw pine from them over 20 years ago and stop by since then for tropical plants they carry. Just bought some variegated ginger. My yard is too small to fit everything I want to plant! read more

Great staff, awesome selection of plants and trees. Very reasonably priced. They are my go to spot for anything going in my yard.

Went with an idea and had great help from the staff thinking it through. Had six Christmas palms and a dozen shrubs delivered and planted. Went back for ornamental gasses to add the next layer of privacy and design. For the cost of a weekend getaway, my backyard is now my favorite place to be. read more

Great service and beautiful selection! They never disappoint myself or family who also goes here. We get so many compliments on our Sylvester palm, concrete pathway and all our gorgeous greenery. Thanks Pops Nursery (& Brandi & Melissa!) read more

This is a great nursery with just about everything you could need from sod to palms. The owner and all of the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are fair and it is convenienly located. I like how you can drive up and park diagonally, pay for sod and then pick it up before leaving without having to back up. read more

Interestingly, some of the plant nurseries in Broward and Miami are operated by "Southerners". I've never really encountered any odd behavior except this one time. I remember I was at my favorite plant nursery Flamingo Road Nursery, and a blonde who worked in the food market had a confederate flag key chain in plain sight on her body. It was so obviously advertised it seemed that she wanted people to see it. Anyway, I've been coming to Pops Nursery for years, but only to buy sod(rectangular pieces of grass). I never really thought of buying any of their plants as nothing has ever caught my eye. Either way, I hadn't been to this place in more than 5 years, and I came by yesterday to get some sod. But the minute I walked in the Nick Nolte looking dude who's always there just stared at me, no hi, no how can I help you, nothing. This dude looked at me like he thought I was the CEO of BLM or I was one of the dudes knocking down the confederate statues. Dude was literally trying to burn a whole through me with his eyes. Dude didn't say a word before or after purchase, he just took the money and gave me the change. I still needed more sod, but there was no way I was coming back to this place so I went to Florida Nursery Mart on Griffin the following day. read more

Great little family-owned "small business" nursery. I will be coming here from now on. Pop's has been around forever, and the owners are the people you deal with throughout the nursery. That kind of attention and commitment is what a family owned, local business is all about. You get top-notch service because they care about the customer. You get competitive pricing because they have to keep up with box stores and larger nurseries. You get healthy plants because they grow them right on the premises. I was looking for a specific tree, and they only had one. He had no problem finding another for me. We were getting a pallet of sod and the owner loaded it into our truck. We were looking for palm fertilizer, and had a good conversation about the different options. The location is right on University, on the East side of the road. Pay attention because the sign sneaks up on you. There isn't a ton of parking, especially with trucks picking up large items. I would call ahead if you are getting sod to be sure they have it in stock, as it seems to go fast. If you are looking for prompt, efficient, friendly service from small business owners trying to give you the best possible customer experience, check out Pop's. The pricing is great, the plants are healthy, and the staff is helpful! read more

Super professional and knowledgeable. I built a pool and needed my landscaping done. I had a design that I wanted. I went to multiple nurseries. Pops spent the time with me to help decide on what plants and trees would work the best. They did the installation and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend pops. Price, knowledge and installation was all top notch. read more

I've been to this place for years and talking since like 1985 and every time I've been there they've always been very knowledgeable they have a nice selection of orchids at very good prices. And not the ones that you find at Home Depot that are in mass production I'm talking about ones that are very unusual and they also are very good at their side they usually always have it in stock they're very good at if your side goes bad they'll replace it for free if you show me a picture and show my receipt so I always follow the receipt if you can and every time I've been there if I was at mass except for the guy that loads he doesn't wear a mask but the people that take the money and the credit cards and stuff always have masks on and if you look at for somebody thatKnows their plants they're very knowledgeable and I can help you with any landscape ideas read more

Went to pops on a recommendation from a worker at Home Depot. I would say he was right bought almost a pallet of sod and some top soil prices weren't bad.
