I was very happy that Publix sold antifreeze (since my car had a leak and then the "engine overheated" sign appeared). I wasn't exactly sure where to add antifreeze and I know I could easily Google it, but I felt so fortunate that customer service said that thier employee Elyon would help me. Thank you! Then later I got my car fixed at the mechanics, but the Publix employees were so helpful during that stressful time of car trouble. So grateful! Thanks! read more

The wife texted me and said we need bananas and milk so off I went to Publix for my new errand. As I walked in I purchased a new Lotto ticket for Wednesday and said a short prayer. I always buy the smaller milk and semi green bananas so they dont spoilage reasons. Everything in the aisles were label faced forward and the beer aisle was heavily stocked. I do notice that the inventory at Publix are much larger in the morning hours and less busy. Very nice florist section with helium balloons. Also, an "Online Order Pick Up" area at the customer service counter for deli meats, subs and cheeses. read more

This location's frozen burger case is broken. I returned a rancid moldy pack 4 weeks ago but found 2 different varieties with the same issue in their case today. When I returned the burgers 4 weeks ago the customer service rep assured me both when I called and when I returned them that they would address it and pull the bad product from the floor. They still have not pulled it off the floor and continue to sell spoiled and improperly controlled food. read more

I needed to get some Chicken Stock and Publix had some under the private label. That was a savings over the national brand, about 20% less. I always check the nutritional information and ingredients and they were pretty much identical. Just paying for the marketing ads on the national brand...LOL... The store was very neatly organized, well lit and it had very nice staffing with nice smile on their faces. It was a pleasure shopping in here. read more

This was the cleanest most pristine Publix I've ever been in. It's fairly new; very modern; large; and exceptionally organized. Every shelf is in order with all the stock perfectly aligned and with all labels facing forward. Kudos to their manager and staff. There was a huge "grab and go" section of ready to eat prepared foods. I've not seen this -- to this extent -- in any of the Publix stores that we usually frequent. We were nearby and stopped in to see if they had a couple needed items. They had everything here that we hadn't found near our home. If you live in this neighborhood, you should check them out. I'm sure they are as pricey as most Publix these days, but it should still be a pleasant shopping experience. read more

This particular location in Weston has the look and the service that you would expect from a Publix supermarket. It is a comfortable setting to do.your grocery shopping and the staff is extremely helpful. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

But today I am a double fan of this location versus the Coquina location on Sheridan because I went there yesterday and they had the promo for this item listed but ALL the exhibit had were 15-can packages, not the 12-can boxes that you need to purchase to get the promo. Publix, of course, is a great place to shop. I tend to take my experiences at Publix hand and hand. So I am currently doing the keto diet. The Publix in the North end of Weston gladly makes 'sub' sandwiches for me using Joseph's Pita Bread. One simply on top and one simply on the bottom, with all other sandwich components inbetween. Usually Publix is a place that is willing to go above and beyond in the 'gray areas' to make the customer happy. I find more and more that the above and beyond 'willingness' seems to continuously erode from the deli area. This specific Publix had their deli supervisor, at discretion, decide not to do it. Publix is known for tip-toeing the gray line all the time to make the customer happy. Let's be honest, there is no true specific dollar and cent limit for chicken tender and cookie samples, this is a gray area matter. Same with this 'discretionary' decision. In fact, the rating of 1 star represents a couple things, inconsistency for willingness from one location to the next and the fact that when it's up to discretion, the deli supervisor decided not to go above and beyond, which is actually supposed to be the Publix norm. read more

Publix is grossly overpriced! I took my Publix receipt and compared prices to Wal-Mart. Publix was 37.66% higher on the national brand items. Think about that... If Publix was buying their merchandise at Wal-Marts retail price their gross profit would be 37.66%. As we all know Publix is not buying their merchandise from Wal-Mart so what is their gross profit percent? Maybe over 50%, this is ridiculous considering that I purchased items that typically have a lower gross profit like, Cereal, Orange Juice, Cookies, Raisins and some industry higher gross profit items like Frozen dinners. The totals of like items was $46.43 vs $33.73. If you add in the available store brands the total cart after sales tax was Publix, $76.30 vs. Wal-Mart, $47.94, 59.17% higher. I have always known Publix was grossly overpriced so I only use them as a convenience store. The reason I am so pissed today is because of Covid 19, I was forced to purchase toilet paper and paper towels from Publix, they did not raise their prices but they should be charged with Price Gouging just because their regular price is so high! Come on Publix make your prices reasonable, especially during these difficult times. I would expect to pay 10-15% more but 59.17%! WOW! read more

Conveniently located in a plaza not far from my house this supermarket caters to the locals. Lots of ethnic foods are available to make exquisite dishes just like back home. When you walk in you're instantly blasted with the cool temperature and clean ambience around you. If you head to the right upon entering you'll notice large bin like shelves filled with BOGO offers which really do make shopping a pleasure. The staff is always happy to help even if you don't ask for help, its like some sort of crazy super power all the employees have... its like they know I don't know what Im doing. Check out is also a breeze, the moment they notice more than 2 people in a line they open another register for faster check out.
