Costco Gas was not as crowded as it usually is on a Friday afternoon. This is one of the perks of being a Costco members where you can get gas for cheaper than it is elsewhere. Where other gas stations might be as high as $5 for premium gas, today's Costco price was 4.39 today per gallon. I wouldn't drive out of my way to come gas up at Costco but if I am in the area or nearby, it's definitely one of stops. I recommend this Costco location to others. The service on the hearing aid center used to be very good, then they eliminated the receptionist. I have gone to this location three times in the last week to pick up supplies for my hearing aids. Each time I visited I was not able to get my filters and domes because the hearing specialist was in the booth testing patients. After waiting for 30-45 minutes I had to leave. I know they are trying to cut back on staff, this is also cutting back on their customer service levels. I am so sorry that the receptionist position was eliminated in the hearing center. This has made a huge difference. Costco really should bring back the staff they need to do the job correctly. read more

I love visiting other Costco locations when traveling. While the core stuff is the same, each location has different products based on the demographics. So I always find interesting things and sometimes items they don't stock at my Costco. Came here to pick up some shanks for my transatlantic cruise. This location has quite a few gluten free items. My local Costco doesn't have all the same gf options. Decent parking. Checkout area seemed about the same size including self checkout as most Costcos. Would shop here again. read more

Since we were in the area, we decided to try out this Costco because it was so convenient. There were plenty of carts and after circling around a few times, we were able to find a parking spot somewhat close to the entrance. Of course it was very similar to our go-to Costco but different in other ways so it took some getting used to. The staff were friendly and helpful. We found everything we needed and then some. The store had their Christmas merchandise displayed so we stocked up on those items before they were gone and we didn't have to shop during crowded store hours. Thats a huge plus! There are also Halloween decorations, candies, and a few costumes available for sale. We noticed that prices had gone up on everything, especially on coffee! So don't be surprised. They have a better food court area than our regular Costco. Lots of picnic style tables with orange umbrellas. You can't miss the area. It was arranged very well and out of the traffic area. Came on a Friday night and we first had to get some dinner. Usually the food is good, but This Friday the food was terrible. The hot dog bun was flaky and the hot dog was gross. We also shared the chicken bake and this was just as terrible. We tried the new sundae brownie and this was actually really good. It was the typical traffic jam in the store. Jam packed for a Friday night, but I'm not surprised. You can shop and eat at the same time. It's a great place to buy in bulk. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, after years of Pepsi tyranny, the red can has returned to the soda fountain. Somewhere in Atlanta, a Coca-Cola exec is smiling. Somewhere in Purchase, New York, a Pepsi exec is crying into their Sierra Mist. The gas station is the real prize--cheap enough that you almost forget you spent $200 inside when you only came for toilet paper. Been coming here for years. You need to get there early, when they first open, or later. If you come on a weekend, good luck. Same for gas. The staff are usually helpful. The seafood, meat, and wines are great. They have some delicious baked products and produce as well. Samples are a plus, as you get to try before you buy. However, I can say that the employees make sure to keep the lines moving and are there to assist in every way! The major plus about Costco....they now have Korean Skincare!!! Coming here is always a hassle, but it has good deals time to time. They also sells a lot of products that my daughter recommends; Elavi Protein Brownies, Seven Sundays Cereal and Crunchy Edamame snacks! Once upon a time, I even saw that they sold the Starbucks egg bites!! It's very crowded on the weekends and the parking lot is also filled to the brim that you have to park so far away just to find a space. This is a good place to stock up on dry staples and for larger families. Since we are only a family of three, we don't stop in much, but keep the membership for certain products that we just can't give up! read more

I've had memberships to other wholesale clubs in years past, but now that my large family is grown and my children have families of their own, I didn't feel the need to be a member of a club. Needing tires and shopping them around, I decided to join Costco and buy their tires with a 5-year road hazard warranty. As it turns out, they don't carry my tires and said they can't be ordered, so I had to go elsewhere to get my tire plugged. I was extremely disappointed and immediately considered canceling, but when I walked around the store, I found really great deals and some food items that I now love such as chicken tamales, birria & cheese pupusas, almond flour wraps/tortillas, mini-sized Naked smoothies, and a couple more. With that, I also found that the service by Alex up front, as well as from others on the floor and at checkout was great; so I'm keeping my membership. read more

Costco is trying to save money, by cutting back on their hot food packaging. First they stopped using the plastic tubs for the hot chickens. And putting them in flimsy plastic bags. Today I got a slice of pizza to take home. The woman at the snack stand did not put on a foil cover. I asked for it. She told me Costco stopped supplying them, don't blame her,and got nasty for my asking! It is a common thing when I am in the store weekly, for gas and shopping! They hire the worst people to work in customer service jobs. They have no understanding of politeness and courtesy! read more

Worst Costco customer service I've experienced in over 20 years as a loyal member. At the Pembroke Pines location (Dykes & Pines Blvd), the greeter doesn't greet customers at all, just guards the card entrance as if it won't be checked again at payment. Associates throughout the store are unhelpful, and the cashiers and cash booth attendants are downright rude, treating customers with clear disrespect. This reflects poor management and a lack of proper training. Serious improvement is urgently needed to bring this store up to Costco's standards We are accustom to. read more

We have memberships at BJ's and Sam's but wanted a membership here to see what they had. We got there about 10 min before they opened on a Sunday and there was already a line of people. They have 2 entrances where people were lining up at both entrances. Luckily, we realized that the "exit" was also the entrance for Tires and Customer Service/Returns. Otherwise we would have been waiting around the corner since that's where the end of the line was to get in the Entrance. We walked in and were able to get right to someone who was able to get us a membership. The lady who helped us was very persuasive and talked us into an Executive Membership vs a Gold Membership. She said that if we felt that we weren't getting use out of the Executive Membership, we could always switch it to the Gold Membership. If you get their credit card, you get a $60 Costco Cash Card (gift card). Since we've never been here, we walked up and down each aisle to see what they had. Some things were no different than what you can get at BJ's or Sam's. By the time we left, it was 2 hours later and we were a couple of hundred dollars poorer, lol. We got a prepared Cesars Salad for lunch which was very good. I didn't realize how big it was! It could definitely feed 4 people. We also got the croissants since they looked delicious and they were! I've never seen croissants as big as they were. There were a LOT of people and definitely no social distancing. Although the check out line was pretty long, they did a good job getting people out. Beware that the parking lot is about as crazy as the Davie location. People see that you are backing up and don't give you space and start honking at you as you're trying to back up! read more

Part of having a Costco club membership means extra perks when you fill-up your tank at a Costco gas station. Some of the benefits are lower gas prices, guaranteed. They also have long hoses that allow you to pump from either side of your vehicle. So it doesn't matter what side your gas tank is on. Went out to dinner then to walk off the food some we decided to walk across a huge parking lot and over to the other side to check out the new Christmas items at Costco. When we arrive, which was literally a 10 minute walk, not even exaggerating they would not let me enter with the doggy bag and a small one at that. The door person said I had to go and leave it in my car. I told them it was food from the dinner we just had and I've never been told anything ever before and they would not let me in which is stupid as I see demo cups, and hotdog wrappers and pizza plates throughout the store, but I can't bring in my covered food that's wrapped in a bag? I like Costco. You can find just about everything. Tires, electronics, groceries in bulk. What I don't like about Costco in layman's terms: the parking. I don't even mind the crowds, it just seems regardless of which location you go to, parking is a mission. This one in particular has a lot of parking, but this parking is shared with many other stores. This is a slight pain. Usually I go to the Costco in Miami Lakes, so that's what I'm comparing this Costco to. This one is smaller, but the staff is a lot more welcoming. Plus, you won't go hungry because there are many samples given out. I tried one that was shrimp and cilantro rice, and well, if it weren't for an already packed fridge, I would've gotten it. Well, just remembered an exception to my statement about the staff. The girl at the pizza counter had a frown and didn't seem too friendly, but given the line that wrapped around the corner...
