Presented beef chunks to worker to grind. 1 lb. 3 oz. Seemed off to me when I got home so weighted it and came up with 14.2 oz. Drove back and spoke to a manager. He said that 'some would probably get stuck in grinder unless more was in to push it out'. Worker should have re weighed it, but did not, and put old label back on. So got beat out of almost $4! Got my money back and ended up no charge after he was originally just going to re weight it and give back only the overcharge! Unbelievable! I have been having a hard time since I switched over insurance companies with getting my prescription refilled. The doctors office has dropped the ball several times and I have been without meds for two weeks if it wasn't for the outstanding work of Brianna and her follow up and pushing the doctor and the insurance company to approve my prescription, I would've never received it. She is an outstanding employee and is lucky to have her. I highly recommend this pharmacy inside the Publix. read more

Definitely one of the nicest Publix stores around. I frequent this one most often, although I have 3 stores in my area that I can choose from. They have great deals and BOGO sales weekly. In my opinion, this is one of the best Publix stores in the tri-county area. I feel they cater more to the overwhelmingly Hispanic/Latino population; as there is more of an abundance of Spanish-style prepared foods, produce and products. On a recent visit, I spent a lot of time in the produce, flowers, bakery and pharmacy departments buying for mami. She recently had surgery and we have wanted to pamper her and have her well-provided for. It was so nice to get help finding specific products she needed from the pharmacy, as well as getting assistance with selecting a new flower arrangement and balloons. Although Valentine's Day was coming up, they still had other choices and I was happy to be helped in deciding what to get. I feel like many times we want to be self-sufficient when we go to stores, and because of bad experiences that have marked us in not wanting to reach out or even going as far as rejecting assistance when offered, we lose out on an optimal shopping experience. That said, Publix is typically a pleasure to shop in, and more so in this southwest area of Broward. I truly enjoy making purchases here and getting help from their associates when needed. Pricey? Yes, in comparison to other grocery stores, but who minds paying a couple of extra dollars for a seamless shopping experience! read more

Usually shopping is a pleasure at this particular location, however my recent visit has been very disappointing. I had the unfortunate encounter with Ruby the cashier. My experience began very negatively in that I was not welcomed or greeted when I joined her line, I was forced to acknowledge and greet her- strike one and then when it came time to pay my $57.12 order, my mom handed her 3 $20 bills which from my math equals $60. Ruby proceeded to take the money and repeated to my mother $60 to which my mom replied "Yes", Ruby repeated once more $60 to which my mother replied "Yes" once more and she stares at my mother, myself and Ariana the bagger as though we had done something wrong? So then I chime in and I say Yes-$60, the order total is $57.12 to which Ruby replied I always repeat twice what money is given to me. The only problem with her reply and her actions is that she continued to wait after we had paid as if we had not given her enough, she didn't proceed to open her register but instead she waited and stared as though we were unable to count? Super frustrating experience. Also, I'd like to note that Ruby greeted the patrons behind us, I suppose she is selective with certain customers. Very Disappointing. read more

This review is for the deli and sub section. The rest of the store is good. Out of all the Publix's I've been to, this store has the SLOWEST and worst deli staff I've ever encountered. They move at snail pace even when there's a long line. If you place an order ahead for pickup, they are almost always late. I think I've only experienced my order being on time twice. They have also repeatedly messed up my pick up order. If I place an order for turkey, somehow they bag ham. Not sure how they're not reading the order right. The sub line is also insanely slow and many of the workers are perpetually in a bad mood with bad attitudes. Awful experience every time at the deli and sub lines. Definitely go to another Publix if this is what you're looking for. read more

I really need to acknowledge Dolly at the bakery. I came in 20 minutes before my son's school birthday party and was just planning to get some cupcakes. I decided to ask if they had anything Spider-Man themed and Dolly took over, she asked how many kids, pulled out a light up Spider-Man toy, arranged them and put extra cream to make them look a cake. Put sprinkles and wrote happy birthday Kyle to make it look like this was preordered. She did this all in 5 minutes. I was in the store a total of 12 minutes, got apple juice, snacks and the cake and was on my way. She saved me and did with so much kindness, truly wanted to help. Lets start with management they never greet their customers. You come in around 4 pm and see managers next self cashing machine having a conversation and no regards for customer. When Leo and Kelly were there they were friendly, helpful and definetely hands on working. Before cook chicken was ready by 3:30pm i have come in at 4pm and they tell me to come back in 45 min. Let me start by saying I love this location I have lived in this area for years! so eveeyd is conveniently placed. I stop by today after running my errands for a sub from the deli like I usually do! I went to get serviced with my family. the server "agnes" came to ask my mom what we wanted to order. we told her a garlic and herb tofu sub. after saying "huh " what "huh". she brushed us off and turned around asked another to take our order. her attitude was NOT welcoming at all to say the least. so RORY took over and took our order! he was a BREATH OF FRESH AIR . he greeted us with a smile ! and was very calm and patient and took our order exactly how we needed it. he cleaned his hands. switched gloves. washed the knives and made sure the area was clear (since we don't eat meat!) and it was so appreciated! Rory is the welcoming that Publix needs! Definitely! I wouldn't dare recommend Publix at the hours Agnes is servicing! she needs customer/employee training! I have to just say after what seems to be a life time at shopping at Publix the least I can do is write a review. I usually stop by 3 or 4 times a week. The employees are always friendly and seem to genuinely be interested in helping you even if they really could care less (great poker faces!) My biggest complaint was the long waits at the Deli getting my kids cold cuts for their school lunch but now (thank god) I order my Boars Head cold cuts or sandwiches online and 20 minutes later I am picking them up. This has literally cut my shopping time by half and I can now leave my sleeping bag at home My store is always neat and clean. It was recently remodeled and to be honest it didnt even need it. I enjoy the buy 1 get one free & who doesnt especially when your kids eat cereal like its the only meal they get all day. I know I have other options nearby that may actually be cheaper but call me crazy, I like to reward Publix with my loyalty, especially in such a competive industry where they know I can go anywhere but are truly grateful that I shop there. read more

Erin was super rude. We went in to play for the mega millions as many people are doing today and since it was our first time playing we didnt know we were only supposed to pay in cash so Erin rudely tells my mom to grab some chips and pay for them, so my mom goes and brings them back. She then snatched the chips from her hand and scanned them and told her to put in her card. My mom puts in her card and pays for the chips not knowing she was supposed to use a debit card. Erin then scoffs at her and with a snappy attitude tells her "you didnt pick cash back" and scans the chips again and tells my mom to put her card back in once again without clarifying that she needs to use a debit card. Confused, my mom puts her card back in and tells her theres no option to do that. Erin looks up from what she was doing and sighs while rolling her eyes and tells her "you need to use a debit card" once again with a snappy attitude. I understand that today is an overwhelming day for you guys with so many customers coming in to play but that is no reason to be rude especially since we explained that this was our first time playing and dont know how it goes. I work in retail and I know it gets very stressful when the line is getting long but that does not justify being rude. Everyone else at the front however was clearly stressed but still very friendly and helpful nonetheless. Especially Carolina I believe her name was, she stepped in when she noticed Erins attitude and kindly explained to my mom how playing and paying works and was able to finish the transaction. Never fails, customer service is always on point here. I frequent this store about 5 times a week (yes, 5. I'm serious). And every one is amazing. Especially deli. I always go for the hot soup and sweet Hawaiin rolls (yes Lord! Addicting!). Today I met a girl in the deli/hot food section named Kat. She was so sweet and nice and I felt like I made a new friend lol. Never saw her before until today. Nice to see and meet a smiling face and a person as friendly as I am. I love this publix. I work in the plaza. And I dont live in the area but I would say this is the best Publix I've visted. Customer service ia astounding. Linea are never too long. Went there to their pharmacy, quite a few people waiting to get their covid shots. I went there for a prescription and attendant told me I had to wait until next day, when I asked why he replied if I had not seen the people that were waiting to get vaccinated with a bit of an attitude. Poor planning on their part. One coming in for a prescription should not have to be in the same line as people being vaccinated. Should be a separate process. I went to walmart and got it done in 15 mins. They do have separate lines for vaccines and prescriptions, the way it should be. Publix needs to plan it a bit better and have that attendant enrolled in a customer service course to learn how to talk to people. Will not visit their pharmacy again. read more

Have been going here for years, but one encounter with one of the employees threw me off. I asked her where something was, and as I was asking her she continued to walk away while looking back. She did not give me her full attention, or stop to guide me in the direction. Her name was Taneisha. Worst Publix in Pembroke Pines period. It's old & out dated. Every time i come to the Deli, it's a long wait. Employees walking around and talking to each other while you wait. They look pissed that you are there to order something. Then instead on using all the slicers, they will work off 1 or 2 so they won't have to clean more later. Always under staffed. Better get there before 6pm if you want a roasted Chicken. God forbid they put more out. You get more energy out of the Walmart across the street. I rather drive extra 10 mins to the one on Dykes/Pines then this one. Heck, i rather drive 30 mins to the Publix on Griffin and University. Very disappointed by the deli service today. I ordered online and when I arrived at the store myself and another lady were missing half of our orders. Another Publix employee said to ask the lady behind the deli counter. At this point in a Sunday evening the last thing I wanted to do was to do go to the deli. When I asked the employee at the counter she simply stated someone must have taken it and offered no other help. I would think that at the least she could have asked what I was missing and make it for me when she finished with her current customer.
