This review is about Walmart's pharmacy, specifically their immunization program…read more Last week, I made my spouse and I made online appointments for today on Walmart's website. We became eligible for COVID-19 boosters and wanted to get them done before the holiday season started. We arrived and waited to check in. The staff checking us in was very nice and efficient. We turned over our CDC vaccination and insurance cards and filled out a quick form then we got back our insurance cards (they kept the vaccination cards to add further records) and we went to go wait since there were two people before us. The pharmacist giving us our vaccines was very nice, thorough and professional. Everything was explained to us before it was done and I found that to be refreshing because most pharmacists don't tell you step by step what they're going to be doing and when. I don't know if this is because I mentioned I was nervous but I really appreciated being told what was going to happen before it happened. Once we were done and had our updated vaccination cards, we headed on our way. It was a really fast, efficient, and positive experience.

There are real people to help you check out, not automated payment like at Home Depot where few people can be found to help you. The best part is Jerry is 85 years old and he really knows his merchandise and hardware. Congratulations to Bomgaards for recognizing the jewel that Jerry is to their business. It was such a great experience meeting Jerry that we will pass on the big name hardware stores and head to Bomgaards for real service. In addition, we found the merchandise to be unique, fun and original. Its not just a farm supply store but much more than we expected.

Double check prices at the register as there are always problems and they usually don't have updated prices on things anyway.
