Most of the items I came for were out of stock. But, employees were working and stocking shelves. So I guess I can't complain too much. The store was well-kept, the isles were fairly clean. Nothing major to complain nor rave about. The employees seemed willing/able to assist if asked. read more

We went to this Walmart on Thursday to get items for the storm and a Birthday camera for me. We received the worst service ever from a lady named Rose in the electronic area. We were looking at the cameras and she rudely said stop pulling the cameras to my wife. My wife apologized and just let her know she was trying to view the camera. Than my wife asked if all the cameras were off the sales associate Rose replied I don't know. Her attitude was just horrible along with her nasty Facial expressions. So we continued to look at the cameras not even noticing the alarm was going off. Probably because Walmart was stocking and there were a lot of noises around us. She comes back and in a snappy voice tells us to stop touching the cameras. So I ask her how can i decide which camera to use when I can't even look at the cameras. She kept talking nasty to me and my wife asked her to get a manager. She looked at us crazy and started helping a customer that got there after us. We asked her again nicely she ignored us. I couldn't believe this was happening. And guess what she never went to get a manager. So my wife asked a two sales associates to get us a manager. The second sales associate was helpful asked if she could help us with something we said we need help in electronics she said can the lady in electronics assist you. We said she's the problem and the sales associate said I figured that. So clearly people have issues with the lady. Long story short the manager Jason came after 15-20 minutes he was nice and calm. We asked him for corporate information so we could file a formal compliant he said it was 1-800-Walmart. My wife just sent the corporate office an email. I was so upset we left our full basket there we can no longer shop in that store. Than we had to take our whole family to Kmart it was just an inconvenience it was freezing. And all the stores were mad houses ! read more

So now this IS a Superwalmart. Believe it or not, it was better when it wasn't (when it was located across the street). Items are repeatedly out of stock now, and they have decided to not carry others. Today's examples? No emory boards and they don't carry Woolite. How are there empty rows of emory boards? Why not just order them when they are getting low? And I get that the average Walmart customer has no need for Woolite, but to not carry it at all? Odd. Some produce is priced lower than grocery stores, but some isn't. Produce quality tends to be a bit lower than grocery stores, but generally passable. Also, one of the price check stations was out of order today, which was annoying because I had items that had no price associated with them (so I HAD to check). I'll still give it one star higher than the other Walmart, because that one is a complete s--tshow, starting with the horrible auxillary parking lot, which needs to be redone before someone dies crossing the street to get to the building. read more

I like this Walmart!! It's quiet, not as busy and the associates are not rude. I'd prefer this Walmart over the one on 85.

Thought this would be a super Wal-Mart, it was not. The flow of the store isn't what I am used with Wal-Mart. The grocery section was seriously lacking. I did find what I need in terms of cookware, but definitely will be going down the road for the cleaner more organized store. read more

Dont bother calling them to ask a question--they literally never pick up in ANY department. Their customer service is awful, too. They won't even respond to emails and calls. Not sure who the manager is, but he/she is running an incompetent branch from the service end. read more

For this being a Superwalmart this is one of the worst stores I had ever been in. Shelves seem to be always empty every time I shop there. They need a new store manager or whoever does ordering for this store. The store across town never seems to have this problem and it is just as busy. read more

I really like the new store and its vast selection. If you cannot find what you are looking for here, then you'll have problems finding it at any brick and mortar store in Frederick. As far as grocery prices go, Walmart cannot be beat. The grocery selection is somewhat limited but one can do the majority of their shopping at the best price possible, w/o spending an afternoon clipping coupons. Also, my daughter had a battery (Walmart Everstart I think) flake out in her Hyundai Sonata and Walmart Automotive replaced it w/o a receipt or any fuss, even though the battery was tested, found to be marginal, and within the bottom end of the acceptable range. read more

Walmart will always have some issues of course... but it has pretty much everything and this one in particular has pretty good staff, so it does make a big difference. read more

This Walmart has everything that I need (except for fresh produce). The aisles are wide enough for 2 carts to fit. I think it has a great selection of items from clothing to milk to bath accessories to paint to on and on and on.....The staff are always helpful and friendly. I enjoy shopping at this Walmart. read more

I was racially profiled today, as I completed my purchase at the self checkout which included book bags for my nieces, I was told that these bags needed to be checked, and all the stuffing paper had to be removed. The other customers at the self checkout with similar items were not stopped for their bags to be checked. I immediatly went to customer service and was told by the assistant manager on duty that "People tend to steal mens' razor blades worth $30.00, so that's why they needed to check your book bags." In other words they have to assume that I stole something since in the past someone else who looks like me has. No written policy or signage anywhere about a bag check. Clearly not a consistently applied policy -- disgusting to be racially profiled in public. Never coming here again. read more

I can say I've ever been a fan of the way Wal-Mart merchandises the things they sale, the way the over-stack all of their isles and make it impossible to get around. I can't say I love the way too many of their employees don't seem to even begin to grasp the idea of "customer service." I can't say that I appreciate how inept too many of their cashiers seem to be at bagging my groceries, even when I sort them, and their inability to put the bags in my cart even when I am dealing with three rowdy young children. I can say... this Wal-Mart is doing fine at living up to all of the standards I've begun to expect from every Wal-Mart I visit. Their selection is pretty meager, but it is a smaller store than most Wal-Marts nowadays. They don't sell meat products unless they're frozen or packaged lunch meat. I'd love to be able to buy ground beef there. I went once to buy milk on a random weekend and they had twelve feet of refridgerator space without any milk in it all. It was late Saturday night, so I had a hunch they'd be stocking it soon, so I asked and was rewarded for my efforts, but heard many people 's dismay at the lack of milk while I waited for mine. I don't see why a competent assistant manager couldn't have been on top of the milk situation and sent someone to stock it before eleven at night. They lost out on a few sells. The lines and cashiers are pretty typical of a Wal-Mart. Don't expect to get in and out quickly. This Wal-Mart doesn't have a sewing/material section, but does have a small garden section. read more

Customer service has really gone down the toilet these days and this place is no exception. Was looking for the ship to store pickup, came in and walked to customer service. There were 3 workers not doing much of anything but talking amongst themselves. I was ignored until I spoke up after about 3 minutes of standing there waiting for them to finish. Ignorantly rude. Must be nice to get paid to stand around and socialize. So then I get to the ship to store pickup which is also the photo center and ask if I'm in the right spot. Yep, I am; at least I was attended to right away. I ask if she needs my order number. She says "no, I need your ID". Then she wants my order number. Seriously, then why did you say no when I asked if you needed it? I just shook my head. Stupid. The only reason this gets 2 stars is that the store was stocked with plenty of Halloween stuff while other stores locally have very little and it was pretty organized/clean, AND we were greeted by Kenneth on our way out who very friendly and welcoming. Store needs more Kenneth type experiences. But just as soon as I exit the store, there's about 5 employees smoking at the corner of the building, stinking up the place. Disgusting. Isn't this type of space usually out back, not what greets visitors as they enter and exit the store??? Managers need to get with the program. Give these people training; set good examples, and expect excellence. People wonder why business is taken elsewhere, stores close, leaving people without jobs....take pride in your work people. I'll keep giving my business to Amazon until you can get it right. read more

Went out last night just to see all the idiots getting ready for some dumb sales. went INSIDE (no idea what we were thinking) and omg i have never seen a bigger mob! this store was absolutely overrun. there should have been a max capacity for this place and security at the door making people wait to get in cuz let me tell ya THIS Walmart up on 26 can't handle that many people at the check outs. can't tell u how many times i had to say excuse me to get out. The people were like rabid wolves too.. the store had stuff out that could not be accessed until midnight. These were housed in shrink wrap that they thought were supposed to keep people out.. no less than 3 times did i hear people say please do not open the shrink wrap until 12. oy. this review really isn't for the store it's more for the day "Black Friday" and the SHEEPLE that just have to fall for everyone's marketing ploys. read more

This is the better Walmart offered in Frederick. Not dirty, the employees are friendly for the most part and its nowhere near as busy as the other Walmart off of 85. I go out of my way to deal with this Walmart instead! read more

I returned a computer monitor yesterday that I bought the day before. My friend offered to give me one for free. The customer service desk staff handled the return and refund quickly and easily. I expected it to be a big headache but ended up being impressed when the experience was so pleasant. Great job! read more
