We picked some strawberries and sugar snap peas, both smaller than what you would be used to at the grocery stores, but packed with so much delicious flavor! The girls had an absolute blast going through the fields, even trying to squeeze in a taste (we had to hawk-eye watch them). I loved feeling like we were supporting a local business, but also what farms should be and what I grew up with (We didn't have to make a reservation, we didn't have to pay for each person, we just paid for what we picked) It's not a huge operation, but it did the job for us. Their bouquets of fresh flowers were what attracted us and as the photos show, the quality is great, the variety delightful. I easily made two full vases from the $20 bouquet. I ended up buying a blueberry muffin that was pretty good- a little dense but great flavor with fresh berries and not too sweet... and two cookies that unfortunately were undercooked... they looked good, but the insides were raw... So overall, lots of nice people, we're glad we checked this place out, and we'll probably give it another try in a few weeks when there may be more produce available.
