Great fully stocked Walmart pleasant employees and prices were reasonable and fresh produce. If I lived here I would do all my shopping here!

I popped in for a Christmas present item I knew the store would have without having to drive to many smaller stores. I walked around a bit observing the wild animals in the zoo and and after poking my head around long enough I jumped into the line with the slowest cashier on mother earth. The guy in front of me and I got to chatting coming to the conclusion that she was wonder woman helping out other cashiers with how often she momentarily stepped away from her post. I thought this line would have been quick, the people all in front of me minus the person who was getting checked out all had very few items which I thought was s godsend. Nope, fools gold. I tried to escape to the line next to me but was too late. So I stuck it out. When I finally did get checked out my five items literally took all of two seconds to process and I was out the door. I looked back and wished everyone behind me best of luck (in my mind). As I walked to the car, which ended up being on the complete other side of the parking lot, I seen the man who was in front of me in line and did I ever laugh coming to find out we parked next to one another. I said to him "great minds think alike" and laughed, "both picking what we thought was a quick line and parking away from all the traffic". Wished the guy a merry Christmas and off we both went. That's the end of my story. In all seriousness I hate Walmart and only come in during essential times like bathing products and the random bulk beverage buy (once/twice a year). I watched employees stand around on their phone, arguing with customers about what's a mountain bike and what's not (that customer should have went to an actual bike shop, silly her), and be typical stereotypical employees. The store itself was a lot cleaner than expected, especially two days before Christmas. Social distancing was clearly not being enforced (not that I care) but when mom and pop stores play by the rules and I see superstores open the floodgates for mankind it really grinds my gears. All the employees had masks and gloves on so that was a bit of a surprise. The picture I attached what these superstores represent during the busy times. If you do not have the staffing to open all the lines up then staff the open lines with employees that can keep the lines moving. What better way to minimize people on top of one another than a quick checkout. That's in for my rant. Good story with a review of my observation. Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!

I understand that retail jobs are much harder than most people assume. I'm sure there are hard workers in this store. But what the hell. How can one Walmart be SO bad? I avoid it at all costs but had to get something from their pharmacy today. They have a lot of new security measures set up, not sure how much was covid regulation and how much is just because they have the worst shop lifting problem I've ever heard. They have "security" people standing at the door, but they are literally just young dudes paying no attention to their surroundings, playing cell phone games. I don't know how much of this store's terrible vibe is employee related however, this place is seriously child abuse central.

Cream of the crop come here, let me tell you. Takes all walks of life to make the world go 'round and you definitely get that here. Now there's nothing wrong with anyone in particular, but ever been on the website People Of Walmart...... This store always has what I need and then some. It's honestly huge. Thinking about it now, hours later after today's visit, I think it's got to be one of the biggest around. Some sections can seem a little "warehouse-y" but again, this store's never been for looks. Most employees keep to themselves, unless they're engaged. Which I guess is a good thing? My favorite thing about this location is that they have the deli/hot food ready for you to grab and eat. Not all Walmart's have the yummy wedge fries and popcorn chicken!

We enter the store with mini pretzels and start walking towards the escalator to go down to the main level and a lady, whom i assume is a manager, eyes me and starts "discreetly" following us all across the store. As me and my sister approached the escalator she sees that they have a Toys R Us section and wanted to get a picture with the giraffe. So she sits down and asks me to sit down too and I do so that we can take a selfie. As i am handing my sister the pretzels so I can grab my phone to take the photo, the same manager lady comes up to us and says, " Girls this really isn't the place to sit and eat." , in an angry tone. She was very rude and stood in the area until me and my little sister got up and left. All we wanted to do was get a photo with the Toys R Us, giraffe on the bench, then leave. Don't put a bench in your store if you don't want people to actually use it for its function. Would not recommend this Macy's as the staff can be very rude.

I did find a Coach purse that I liked, but it didn't come in black. If I had to do it all over again, I would take my time and shop for me on the first floor and not go on the second floor with my son in the Men's section. He was looking for all type of Nike hoodies, but seem like him and my husband has every color. They got a North Face Hoodie and my son got a Tommy Hilfiger down jacket.

If the TJX chain of stores had children they would be called TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls…read more To the untrained eye you might not see the difference, but in reality there is. Let's investigate. TJ Maxx, would be the Harvard college grad, driving an Audi, and living in Longmeadow. Homegoods, would be the hipster, liberal, eccentric child that drives an old Subaru covered with stickers. Hangs out in Northampton, and is struggling with a marijuana addiction. As we wandered around, we felt something distinctly different from those Maxx's that we knew. Something was just off. The merchandise was either not properly displayed or it just was not as tempting as that at the other stores. I had a mission: a stylish, black, leather bag. I found nothing I liked. We shuffled along, looking at shoes, clothing, sleepwear. Nothing appealed to us. We figure the things one sells, the others sell, but for some reason, on this particular day, we didn't seem to connect. THEN, I saw a pair of black leather boots, Franco Sarto, for which I had long ago given up the search. They were there, and they were in my size, and they had only the one pair. I grabbed them, tried them on, and was thrilled to find a good fit. I would have happily paid full price ($125) had I ever found them during my original search (I had seen them at a high-end store, but not in my size). These were priced at $89. I walked out happy. My daughter, a lover of snacks, found several bags of goodies that she liked, so she did, too. I have since gone back three or four times, but am now convinced that, for some reason, it just isn't as great as the others. So we still make the longer drive when we need a Maxx run. Still, these boots! So happy to have these boots.
