Today, I was assisted by an older gentleman working as a cashier; he spoke to me rudely, essentially telling me--in a very unprofessional manner--to place my items on the counter so he could ring them up, even though that is *his* job. He did the exact same thing to my mother; when he checked her out, he was incredibly rude and racist. He didn't hand her the receipt or her membership card directly; instead, he just left them sitting on the counter for her to pick up herself. They need to hire people who actually enjoy working--not elderly individuals who are rude and inconsiderate.

One Star!!!...I love shopping at Sams until about 3 weeks ago I had my iPhone 15pro stolen from me…read more Yes! stolen not lost... I brought it up to management and customer service and they were nonchalant. Their response was well any items lost will be kept into a lock box and brough to customer service. I left my info tracked my phone which says its located in the vision/hearing center. In that location is the pharmacy, which has been closed for quite some time...My phone is suddenly turned off therefore tracking has been limited. No calls to date from the store. I followed up no luck. Anyways it was an expense for me to have my phone replaced. My opinion, I feel that management should at least assist by reviewing their cameras. I have been shopping there for over 5 years with an executive membership that that pulls in over three hundred annually...You know I really shop there and online... While waiting on the rotisserie line yesterday, to overhear a person saying her phone was stolen from her shopping cart... Same experience as me. Was that a person who always shops at sam's? visits the store just to be a phone thief? is it an inside job/set up? Answers needed! Ms. Stewart- 347-581-3671 A Very Disappointed and frequent shopper!

The worst customer service! I have been trying to change my account email address for over a year…read moreso that I can make purchases on line. I have gone to the store, they say they can't do it and that I should call customer service (good luck finding that number). "Customer Service" says that the system won't allow them to change the email on file. My only option is to go to a store (again), close my membership and open a new one. My wife says that BJs stands for Bunch of Jerks". I agree.

Sweet Life Foods is a dumpy little grocery warehouse on Avocado Street, a gritty little dead-end…read moreindustrial street tucked out by the river in Springfield's North End. It's nothing fancy, inside or out a low-slung steel warehouse that shows it's age. The aisles are rough warehouse shelves and there are no fancy displays, just cut cases of goods with the prices indicated by a label on the edge of the shelf. Inside, you'll find aisle upon aisle of canned goods, packaged snacks, wholesale boxes of candy, Goya products - virtually everything you would need to stock a small neighborhood convenience store or bodega. Items are sold, for the most part, by the wholesale unit, case, or half-case only. If you're buying for a store, a lunch wagon, an event, or maybe a large family you'll find Sweet Life Foods handy. If not, you might still want to stop for things like lunchbox snacks, food storage wraps and things, or the office candy bowl. Prices are generally on the low side, but as is true no matter where you shop, know your prices before you go in. Many times local supermarket sale prices are lower per item than the wholesale case prices here. Cash, debit and credit cards accepted (I don't know about checks, sorry.) The employees are friendly and helpful. Interesting bit of trivia: The actual name of the business is Cash & Carry #0830 and they are owned by SuperValu, the same company that owns Save-A-Lot discount supermarkets. They took on the "Sweet Life" name because they're in the old Sweet Life Quality Foods distribution warehouse, and when Sweet Life went out of business years ago they never took down the old, 1960's-era sign over the front door.

I use Wallingford and sometimes North Haven. I've been a member for years. I do not know why…read morebecause each visit I find very frustrating. Most of the time there is no paper in the gas station pumps. I check my receipts so it's a nuisance for me to have to go to the attendant each time. Also, since I pay dearly for a membership, I feel I should be entitled to any discounts without needing to clip coupons or check online for sales or use their app. I'm done. I'm finally cutting the cord and will not renew. I'm sticking with my Costco membership even though the locations are not as convenient. 100% better!

I called BJ's tire center and the said I had a pro rated coverage..which I know to be an industry standard. I go to BJ's to pay my portion and ordered the tire because it was out of stock. When the tire came in, I went to drop my car off, and they asked for my BJ's card. Well, it had expired and I had no plans to renew. They refused to mount the tire, or give it to me to do myself without a valid membership. Now, when I bought the tires there was no mention of continued membership to facilitate the warranty! A warranty is a warranty. It should have nothing to do with my membership. I had to go to the counter and renew my membership to get my warranty tire. I think that's a form of extortion.
