My daughter has struggled with sensory issues her entire life that make certain situations challenging. After finding the perfect dress she was so excited to try it on and show her friends. We struggled in the dressing room because I couldn't figure out how to help her get it on and she ended up stuck at one point. Long story short when we finally got the dress on I couldn't figure out how to lace the back and reached out to the associate for guidance. She flat out refused to help stating "No I don't want to go in there". My daughter was brought to tears and of course the 3 girls refused to buy the dresses they all wanted out of principal. It pains me that in 2026 this is how people treat others with disabilities.

What service? I…read morewalked in and no one was there. And I looked through the racks for over 20 minutes! For a $$$ consignment store, the clothes weren't really organized by size. There were sections for S,M,L,XL & plus size, but the majority of the labels were faded or not on the clothes; this is normal. But the sizes weren't written on the price tags anywhere. I understand if the store is busy and there are sizes mixed in a good amount. I understand if Ms are mixed in with Ls because that's the way they fit, because that benefits the customer. I'm a true medium and there was nothing I could wear that I would even consider trying on. It's May, and the majority of the inventory is for winter. Who wears a nice pair of leather pants when it's 70+ degrees out except a rock star? I don't know anyone who would wear a gorgeous heavy sheepskin coat now. Maybe if they were in a posh frozen vodka and caviar bar in NYC? Yes, they have bathing suits. But I don't shop for resale bathing suits or underwear. If you're petite don't even think about walking through the door. A good majority of the nicest clothes are long gowns. I was so miffed that I'm in my car writing this review now. Fortunately it's Sunday, so I didn't have to feed the meter. Btw, parking tickets in Northampton are expensive. In conclusion, I'd rather drop a month's salary at a full price boutique with a nice sales person who helps me find something that fits and flatters me. Went to the mall with my little sister to get her a dress, and needed to walk through Macy's to…read moreleave the mall. We enter the store with mini pretzels and start walking towards the escalator to go down to the main level and a lady, whom i assume is a manager, eyes me and starts "discreetly" following us all across the store. As me and my sister approached the escalator she sees that they have a Toys R Us section and wanted to get a picture with the giraffe. So she sits down and asks me to sit down too and I do so that we can take a selfie. As i am handing my sister the pretzels so I can grab my phone to take the photo, the same manager lady comes up to us and says, " Girls this really isn't the place to sit and eat." , in an angry tone. She was very rude and stood in the area until me and my little sister got up and left. All we wanted to do was get a photo with the Toys R Us, giraffe on the bench, then leave. Don't put a bench in your store if you don't want people to actually use it for its function. Would not recommend this Macy's as the staff can be very rude.

Many people were shopping for jackets, hoodies and Fall wear. Not sure if school is out today. Many kids were in the store today with their parents. Today, I didn't get anything for myself. I got my son a jacket and a hoodie for his birthday and my husband a hoodie and t-shirts. They had a decent sale, just not what I was looking for. I did find a Coach purse that I liked, but it didn't come in black. If I had to do it all over again, I would take my time and shop for me on the first floor and not go on the second floor with my son in the Men's section. He was looking for all type of Nike hoodies, but seem like him and my husband has every color. They got a North Face Hoodie and my son got a Tommy Hilfiger down jacket.
