The young woman working here was attentive, friendly, and helpful. She did not pressure me into buying anything, yet she let me know that she was there to help if I needed it. She was a good listener and was able to show me several boot options that fit my criteria. There was another woman shopping in the store, and the employee did a great job of helping both of us simultaneously without getting overwhelmed or neglecting either customer. After I chose a pair of boots, she offered to take them outside and spray them down with extra waterproofing sealant, free of charge. I am very impressed with the level of care given to customers at this store. I ended up with a pair of Rieker boots that I am extremely happy with. Warm, insulated, breathable, comfortable, waterproof, sturdy. I know these boots will hold up for several winters. I could not recommend this store enough. *Note: to those who have given this store bad reviews due to poor service during a sidewalk sale, I would offer the idea that the Northampton sidewalk sales are extremely overcrowded and chaotic. I cannot imagine any store offering their normal level of customer service during one of these madhouse shopping events. You are much better off visiting this store during a normal, quiet business day.

I was greeted personally as soon as I walked through the door. My feet were measured both sitting and standing. And then the salesman watched me walk barefoot, away from him and towards him. After that he was able to help chose exactly which model and style were best suited for my feet. I had been wearing the same brand for years but last year was a disaster. I had blisters along the tops of my toes for a long time until I figured out how to protect them. This one goes above and beyond. Has a decent selection of knives (including good ones, not just cheap imports). They have a large airsoft section. They had a lot of MREs and a good selection of camping equipment on display. My only gripe is that I wish they had more real military surplus (radio equipment, inert ordnance, etc) but almost no surplus store actually has that nowadays. Prices seemed decent. Note: my GPS took me to roughly the right place, but you can't see this store from the road. It's in a strip mall called Riverdale Center. If you see the D'Angelo restaurant, it's behind that. Look for the military ambulance parked in the parking lot.

A MAJOR selection of great kids sneakers too. I've also purchased most of my Timberland boots here. Great selection of styles and colors. They also are the go to spot for fan gear.
