I was very surprised to see them tagged at $12 here, which is substantially more than I customarily see at the Simsbury store, where I've picked up quite a few similar long sleeve Oxford shirts for $5. Otherwise, the store is very neat and organized and has the usual accompaniment of clothing, footwear, accessories, household goods, books, etc. I'm definitely a fan of thrift and second hand stores, and even though I was looking for a long sleeve white shirt, I walked out empty-handed today.

I wasn't greeted, I wasn't told "be right with you," and even when I stepped up to the counter to pay neither woman said a word to me. I've never felt so unwelcome in a store before. They have a great selection of different types of shoes so you can find the one that fits you best. They are also very knowledgeable. When I needed my first pair of pointe shoes I was so excited. Only dancers will understand.... I came here and they sat me down and looked at my feet, measured them, had me stand and get into different ballet positions. They had me try on many different styles and brands. They kept encouraging me to take my time, move around in the shoes, etc. I was there for awhile, it was a process, but I appreciated it because I came out with a great first pair of shoes. They even set me up with the right kind of padding and tape, and showed my mom and I how to sew on the elastic and ties. It also always smells good in here..just a side note.
