I was looking for accessories for a holiday party and found it quickly. This place is great for all your party needs. There were costumes, balloons, candies, and more. It's really unfortunate that they are closing down in early 2025.

My purpose here was to seek make-up and accessories, of which they again have a giant inventory. I received great service here. I told them exactly what I was seeking, and within minutes I was given demonstrations and samples of exactly what I wanted - super easy, super fun. When you come here, read all the signs on the doors to find the entrance, as a lot of the doors are locked. The entrance you want is "upstairs" in the back, against the parking lot, the rightmost of all available doors. I was very glad to have re-discovered this store!

Last night on October 27th, I entered the store and greeted the security guard (male, beard,…read moreYankees baseball cap) with a smile and brief conversation. From the moment I walked in, he began following me through every aisle. I am a Black man with dreadlocks. It was clear to me I was being singled out. After several minutes of being trailed, he approached me aggressively and demanded that I empty my pockets. When I asked why he believed I was stealing, he replied that I "came out of the aisle too fast." I emptied my hoodie pockets in front of him. He then insisted on searching my front and back jean pockets as well. Nothing was found. I asked him to apologize for the false accusation. He refused, stating that I was "too rude." I was shopping with four friends, all of whom were paying customers. After witnessing the entire interaction, they left the store with me in support. We all chose not to make any purchases as a direct result of how I was treated. Upon reading other customer reviews and speaking with friends who have shopped at this location, I was surprised to learn that this same security guard has a clear, repeating pattern of harassing innocent shoppers he deems "suspicious." This interaction was humiliating, discriminatory, and completely unfounded. No other customers were subject to this same kind of scrutiny while I was in the store. Spirit Halloween needs to investigate this individual, this type of behavior is blatantly racist and outright disturbing.
