What service? I…read morewalked in and no one was there. And I looked through the racks for over 20 minutes! For a $$$ consignment store, the clothes weren't really organized by size. There were sections for S,M,L,XL & plus size, but the majority of the labels were faded or not on the clothes; this is normal. But the sizes weren't written on the price tags anywhere. I understand if the store is busy and there are sizes mixed in a good amount. I understand if Ms are mixed in with Ls because that's the way they fit, because that benefits the customer. I'm a true medium and there was nothing I could wear that I would even consider trying on. It's May, and the majority of the inventory is for winter. Who wears a nice pair of leather pants when it's 70+ degrees out except a rock star? I don't know anyone who would wear a gorgeous heavy sheepskin coat now. Maybe if they were in a posh frozen vodka and caviar bar in NYC? Yes, they have bathing suits. But I don't shop for resale bathing suits or underwear. If you're petite don't even think about walking through the door. A good majority of the nicest clothes are long gowns. I was so miffed that I'm in my car writing this review now. Fortunately it's Sunday, so I didn't have to feed the meter. Btw, parking tickets in Northampton are expensive. In conclusion, I'd rather drop a month's salary at a full price boutique with a nice sales person who helps me find something that fits and flatters me. This review is specifically about consigning as the owner is very nice and prices are great…read more I was shocked, however, when I took a few items in to consign as every other consignment shop I've dealt with gives pricing and payout when items are dropped off. This place takes your items, has you sign them over, and then sends a receipt telling the consigner what the item will be listed for and potential payout. My instinct was to take my items back as that made no sense to me, and I take responsibility for not taking my things and leaving. To find out that, as per their website, the new unworn and unused items worth hundreds retail would garner an average of $9.00 per piece was stunning. I would much prefer to donate to someone who could really use the item rather than get less than $10.00 for a dress that retails for $150 and was never worn. Lesson learned. I'm selling online from now on.

Finally asked for inspo pics which I gave her and then she ghosted me. Not really sure why you would make it so difficult for someone to shop at your store. She seemed knowledgeable but needs a better attitude. Every other bridal store I have made an appt with allowed me to just book it and were happy for the business.

I bought a dress for my granddaughter, and before purchasing it I asked the salesperson whether I…read morewould be able to return it. She told me yes, as long as it was returned by January 8. A few days later, I decided to return the dress because it was too expensive for a newborn. When I went back to the store, a different salesperson told me that the store only issues store credit. When I explained that the previous salesperson had not mentioned this, she pointed to a small pink slip stapled to my receipt that stated the store's refund policy. I asked to speak with the owner, who repeated that the policy was printed on the pink slip. I explained that the slip was given to me after I had already purchased the dress, which makes it irrelevant. The salesperson should have informed me of the return policy before completing the sale. I also pointed out that the standard expectation is to receive a refund, and that the store should clearly post its return policy--such as on the front window or at the register--so customers can see it before making a purchase. Failing to do so is a deceptive practice. The policy should be displayed prominently in the storefront to ensure fair and transparent business practices. I returned the dress and was issued a store credit. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. I've always supported small businesses, but I will no longer support The Blue Marble.
