What service? I walked in and no one was there. And I looked through the racks for over 20 minutes! For a $$$ consignment store, the clothes weren't really organized by size. There were sections for S,M,L,XL & plus size, but the majority of the labels were faded or not on the clothes; this is normal. But the sizes weren't written on the price tags anywhere. I understand if the store is busy and there are sizes mixed in a good amount. I understand if Ms are mixed in with Ls because that's the way they fit, because that benefits the customer. I'm a true medium and there was nothing I could wear that I would even consider trying on. It's May, and the majority of the inventory is for winter. Who wears a nice pair of leather pants when it's 70+ degrees out except a rock star? I don't know anyone who would wear a gorgeous heavy sheepskin coat now. Maybe if they were in a posh frozen vodka and caviar bar in NYC? Yes, they have bathing suits. But I don't shop for resale bathing suits or underwear. If you're petite don't even think about walking through the door. A good majority of the nicest clothes are long gowns. I was so miffed that I'm in my car writing this review now. Fortunately it's Sunday, so I didn't have to feed the meter. Btw, parking tickets in Northampton are expensive. In conclusion, I'd rather drop a month's salary at a full price boutique with a nice sales person who helps me find something that fits and flatters me. The only plus side is they have a lot of plus size clothing. read more

This store was amazing my friend and I went to a bunch of thrift stores in the area for the day, and Luxe Consignment was the best one with the most options, it was beautiful in there and the staff was very kind and engaging and helpful. I'm so happy I went here ! read more

Well worth the short side trip from downtown! This store has a much larger stock than Urban Exchange, and everything I looked at was high quality and in good condition. Professional wear, party dresses, formals, and even wedding gowns, in their own special space. The overall decor is pretty, too. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They know quality vintage in excellent condition. The prices for items are fair. I've also brought in a few items that were my Grandmother's pieces that I couldn't wear. Again, she gave me fair price. It was great to know that these old friends would find a good home. I love this store. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the prices are pretty good for the amazing brands that they carry. I especially love that you can throw a party with a group of your girl friends after hours there; everyone gets a discount. It is more fun than you could ever imagine! read more

A great consignment shop right off the highway on your way into Northampton Center. Very convenient stop if you're travelling through the area. Parking is limited though and I think this is very near the new traffic circle so keep your eyes peeled not to miss it. Selection was great and the ambiance of this store was excellent. I sold her a bag of items I happened to have in my trunk and she gave me fair value. My friend did find a few shirts she liked. I think I ended up with a scarf that I wore until it died. I was on the hunt-- a vintage silky robe was required-- and I searched Yelp for vintage shops. Among the usual suspects (Savers, Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other smaller mom-and-pop shops) was a new face: Luxe Consignment. I saw it was in Northampton, not far from the central, walkable downtown. FYI: there's a very small parking lot in front of the store for shoppers, don't stress about finding a meter and walking down. The shop itself is absolutely delightful: whimsical, well-stocked and pleasing to the eye. I only saw women's wear, but what a spread that was! Blouses, dresses, pants, skirts, jewelry, shoes, boots, heels; both vintage and "modern", some still with tags on. I browsed through the "sale" section first, seasonal items like sweaters. There are three separate rooms: the front/main room which houses most of the clothes, plus some purses/bags, shoes, and jewelry/accessories. The second room is shoes, shoes, shoes! Plus a healthy section of formal gowns. FYI, most of the racks are filled to capacity, making sifting through certain areas a methodical endeavor. Dressing rooms are to the back and are very clean and posh. It also appears that there's some sorting or stocking going on in that area. I did find one light sweater, which was on the sale rack and which I (perhaps wrongly so) remember having the little green sticker that designated it as 15% off. When I went to pay, I was asked for the full price ($29); I politely mentioned that I thought it was on sale, to which she replied that it was a light sweater, thus not on sale (I didn't have time to re-check the tag for the green sticker, which the store keeps). They do accept credit cards. All in all, Luxe Consignment is a step above the rest. The merchandise is carefully curated, and displayed in a boutique setting. Those with an eye for fashion-- and a thicker wallet-- would definitely choose Luxe over the pick-through-a-pile thrift stores. Better demarcation of sales prices would certainly help shoppers to make smarter decisions, and end any discrepancy at the register. Big names at affordable price! Natasha's store has opened about two years ago, and it's getting better and better. Perfectly organized little boutique where you can find almost anything you need or would discover something you don't expect. It doesn't look like a thrift shop! It's clean and beautiful and gives you a feeling of an elegant boutique. All things there are either new or very gently used--Natasha takes good care of her things--no torn buttons or missing belts. Any sweater or blouse gets an attention it deserves. And you will see seriously BIG names there: Fendi and Coach, Armani and Gucci...Right now there is a big collection of Tory Burch shoes and boots--all new with tags. Natasha (the owner) is a wonderful creative person with style. One more thing I want to mention: when one of my jackets didn't sell, Natasha asked me if I want to donate it... Then I discovered that Natasha does a lot of charity for the community-- donated things were sent to Ukraine to people in need. read more

I stop in every few weeks to check out the selection. Natalia is most helpful in finding items to create the perfect outfit. I've never been disappointed with any purchases I've made. They're having their summer sale and I'm so happy! read more

Luxe is a terrific store where I've found some of my favorite new clothes - a beautiful versatile teal shirt-dress (which I wear alternately as a dress, tunic and a cardigan jacket.) This designer dress was brand new with the tags still attached! On my last two trips I found my Fall wardrobe of warm crew necks and shirts and also a beautiful pink maxi dress! I've thrifted since I was a teenager (and that was a whiles back) but Luxe is one of the stand-outs for finding clothes I actually want to and do wear. The owner is a sweet lady and so helpful.
